It is good for young kids study remotely.

My daughter likes the teaching styles. She likes step by step that it clear and easy for her to understand. Ms. Lachance is very kind and patient. Thanks

This site is really hard to navigate and I don't have easy access to many things like the feedback from her work and things like that. It's either that or it is just way to basic. I can't decide. On my daughter's end, she completes each week in minutes. It seems too easy. I am considering choosing another method for writing. This isn't it for us.

In response to the reply from T4W. We understand that we can switch classes. I had my daughter do the assessment twice to confirm placement. She gets 100%s on the work and then the things the teacher grades averaged at like a 93%. So, she knows some stuff, but has a little room for growth. Unfortunately, we have gotten sparse (and frankly unhelpful) feedback. She resubmitted something to make a correction and then the teacher lit up her work with red. Why didn't we get to see that the first time? She was told not to bother with resubmitting again. So, she has to hit it the first time and cannot learn from her mistakes? Also, we are waiting a full day for two sentences of feedback. It's a wonder why we even bother. By then, it's a new day and her brain has already moved through several other subjects. Point blank, this isn't for us and I have put in for a refund. I wish I loved it. I do.

And I shouldn't have to log in as my student to navigate the site properly. I just should not. It is a really basic and lackluster site unfortunately. With what Time4Learning looks like, I really expected much better.

This is a great tool for high school. Takes getting used to the navigation parts but otherwise a great reminder and stepping stone for my student.

I enrolled my child for this course again this year ( High School Writing Research Papers ).Last year we completed the Middle School Advanced Essay writing course. It has been a great experience. The user interface is simple and very easy to use - for both parents and children. The support team is prompt in their response and very helpful. The teachers are professional and really help students with detailed and useful feedback. A well executed program! I would happily enroll my child again next year.

Everything seem good except for one thing which really impacted us: the cause progression is tightly controlled on a 24-hour cycle between what a student does and the feedback from his or her teacher, so the student really can't do anything before the feedback is received. My son wasted a lot of time every day waiting for the cause on the web to open up so that he could proceed in the course. Really not a good way to structure a course! Unless this issue get fixed, we don't plan to take any course again.

Platform is a bit difficult to navigate at first and system does not allow you to advance on work when work is pending grading.

Due to the pandemic, I had concerns about my daughter's academic progress. Time4Writing has been a great supplement to her education. I highly recommend it.

My son is really learning the fundamentals of writing and building on the skills he learned in school. I truly appreciate the constructive feedback given by his instructor and suggestions for building stronger writing skills. His instructor is clear and offers positive guidance. My soon to be 5th grader just finished his second Time4writing course. I am so impressed with the program and the way, otherwise daunting assignments, are broken down into EASY steps. Our most recent course was Paragraph Writing. Descriptive and Narrative paragraphs come together with ease because of the simple breakdowns provided. Like all of us, we have been homeschooling through the pandemic. We have worked on writing using a variety of techniques, one of which being the writing "web" or brainstorming. The Time4Writing technique is more formulaic and very effective.

Our summer plans changed a couple of times but we did not have a problem completing the course in the allotted time, so I did not find the program inflexible at all. In fact, we worked ahead a little because we were going camping and we were unsure about Wi-Fi availability. We just printed out the assignment ahead of time and worked in our notebook and then we transcribed the work when we got Wi-Fi access.
The staff was so responsive and easy to work with.

I can't recommend Time4Writing enough.

Just finished the sentences course. Ms. Nicole was great for the next course too!

I would like to leave a review after my child has finished his program.

The problem is the marketing of this company encourages you to pay extra to extend the course by having your child lag behind. There is a free 7 day extension offered, but it will not be enough to finish. Although the writing process is good, the 8 week schedule puts pressure on the student to make them think they are behind. Keep in mind, regardless of the learning level, the child is not allowed to progress without receiving feedback from the teacher. With just a few days to completion, they won't be able to finish. Student course completion brings satisfaction, praise and encouragement. Unless you make a big complaint, you will pay quite a bit for a course the child never completed.

My daughter enjoyed this course very much. It was challenging and fun and it really helped expand on and improve my daughter's writing skills. I could see a clear difference between her ability to write a clear and informative paragraph from when she began to when she completed the course. We will be continuing with this program.

Mrs. LaChance was very helpful in helping my son learn writing mechanics. She was thorough and responded quickly, at times, responding earlier than expected so that my son was able to see the results and work on editing his work with time to move forward. It was a great experience and I look forward to the next class.
