We tried many companies for a complete new front door with glazed side and top frame. We selected Timber Windows as they have such a wide range of options to make a quality, secure and bespoke door.
The options can be involved, it took 8 iterations!
The designer Andy was very helpful and it is critical you explore what works best for your situation. Their printed high quality brochures stimulated lots of ideas. Finally the order was made, deposit paid and production started
We inspected the door at the warehouse prior to fitting which was very worthwhile and installation was a week later. Ryan is a super installer, calm and collected very skilled
The result is a door with much improved insulation, better acoustic and very smart appearance.

It was a complex project which involved quite a bit of work to get the quote right, you need to keep attention to the detail. it does help that they have a showroom to bring to life what you’re ordering.
Installation was first class and quick, with a fast no qualms response to some small snagging.
In the whole I’ve enjoyed working with timber windows, their pricing is competitive and I would recommend them for anyone looking for similar projects.

We had a front door installed. The quality of the product looks fine. The installation team Shaun, Jamie, and other guys were superb, and did a great job.

You get what you pay for! We wanted a very high quality, bespoke replacement front door set as near as we could get it to the style of the original and better - more insulation, greater weight and strength, better sealing and much better paint finish and durability. We had a quote and it wasn’t cheap but we got the door we wanted. We waited 6 weeks and paid in staged deposits and then on the day agreed the team came to fit it at the time appointed. It was done completely in 2 hours before a full brief on the door, it’s use, maintenance and care from the team lead. All we had to do then was pay the final payment and relax an enjoy the quality of what has been done!
We would highly recommend this company.

It was quite creepy to receive an unsolicited marketing mailing from a company I’ve never had any dealings with this morning. I don’t need windows. Stop being so creepy and pushy.

Timber front door looks great and the people who fitted it (Jason x2) were faultless. We had a minor issue with some of the furniture when the door was first fitted but Jack dealt with it professionally and resolved the issue quickly. Would use Timber Windows again and recommend them.

The process from start to finish was seamless and the professionalism of the installation team and the quality of the install exceeded my very high expectations. Fabulous windows! We are delighted with our new windows. Timber Windows have been very helpful with providing information to enable us to get LBC to replace all our windows. The in-house fitting team of Charlie, Dave and Kaleb have been fantastic nothing was too much trouble and they were very considerate towards us as well as extremely tidy. The fitting of the windows is to a very high standard - we already notice a difference in the warmth of the house and reduction in noise levels from outside. Very happy customers.

This is the second time we have used Timber Windows and have found them to be an excellent company. Everyone you meet is professional and the quality of the craftmanship is outstandingly. We are delighted with the doors we recently had fitted and can recommend them without reservation.

Can I just say how utterly delighted I am with my new windows. They have far exceeded all expectations from a visual, functional and quality aspect. The attention to detail is incredible with grooved features and a perfect finish. I had looked at 3 other suppliers with different options, and I didn’t chose the cheapest, but I did want wood. I am so glad I held out for what I wanted.
The style is perfect for my cottage and every single villager who has walked past has echoed these compliments.
I also want to acknowledge the fantastic Lee who came to fit the windows with his colleague. Lee was early to arrive, and did not stop once until he finished the job, he was cheerful and friendly and worked hard to get the windows all in by lunchtime. Every scrap of evidence was taken away and he hoovered and cleaned to a point that the cottage was cleaner after his visit!

This was a second phase installation of a large sash with fixed sidelights following replacement of our other windows at the beginning of the year. As before, the communication from the company was very good and they even tried to advance the date of installation because effectively one elevation of the house at first floor level would be iunprotected once the openings had been prepared. apart from some misunderstanding on what was required on our part and realising that the weight of the window and the narrow stairs prevent internal access so a scaffold hoist was required, everything went smoothly. The installation team were excellent (as before) and a particular mention for Jason who came out immediately to sort out the access issue. The window completes the transformation of our 18th century house and we have received compliments from neighbours about the qualitg anbd appearance of the windows. Very happy.
