Warning to future employees and partners
My experience with Think Vinculum was deeply unprofessional and unethical.
The interview process alone was a red flag: it dragged on for months, with constant back-and-forth. One week they wanted to hire me, the next week they didn’t. They repeatedly chose cheaper candidates, who then quit, and kept coming back to me when things fell apart. This cycle happened multiple times before I finally joined them full-time in marketing.
Before starting, I was fully transparent about one thing: as a media buyer, I had a few long-term, part-time clients from small businesses that I work with outside of working hours and on weekends. These clients had no overlap, no competition, and no conflict with Think Vinculum. They explicitly agreed to this.
Once I joined, I was asked to build their entire marketing and growth system. I delivered exactly that:
-a full growth and marketing strategy for the next 12–18 months
-content planned and scheduled
-ads launched
-systems put in place so they could scale
After all of this work was completed and running, I was suddenly fired via email, with the excuse that they “no longer liked the idea” of me having my previous clients ( something they had already approved before hiring me).
To make things worse:
I WAS NEVER PAID FOR THE LAST MONTH OF MY WORK !!! On top of that, the contractual 14-day notice period was completely ignored, and I received no payment in lieu of notice.
Despite multiple follow-up emails, they simply ignored payment obligations.
Unfortunately, I am not the only one. I am in contact with previous employees who experienced the same issue, and several of us have taken legal action due to unpaid salaries.
This company wastes candidates’ time, exploits employees, and avoids paying for delivered work.
I strongly advise:
-job seekers to stay far away
-businesses to think twice before trusting them as an Amazon or e-commerce partner
This is not a company that operates with integrity.
BTW, all the positive reviews online were made by employees who were forced to write them from their personal profiles.
