Think Free Solar Anmeldelser

Genuinely couldn't fault the whole process. Daryl handled the initial design and was excellent, he answered everything I asked before we committed - and there was a lot of questions!

For the actual install - the scaffolding team were spot on, up the day before the install and down the day after, so no weeks of it sitting in the garden. The panel installers were brilliant, really good guys, and the electricians were also great - tidy, quick, and happy to explain what they were doing as they went.

A 12.5 kWp array with 28 kWh of battery storage is not a small job, and it was handled properly from start to finish. The support since has been just as good, which is honestly such a relief. I would recommend them wholeheartedly - and I have, my in-laws have recently had an install as well!

Excellent work by Think Free Solar, they quoted within hours of initial contact and arranged installation of inverter within days. Attended on time, completed a very tidy job and answered all my irksome questions clearly. I would definitely make contact for any future panel work.

Think Free Solar have recently installed solar panels and battery storage at my property. The whole process has run extremely smoothly and I am really pleased that I chose Think Free solar. From Daryl's initial visit I knew I could trust the company, he was very open and knowledgeable with no sales talk, just facts, and the examples of aftercare - monitoring of systems post install and revisiting if not performing as expected, is what sold me on them. They weren't the cheapest quote I had but when you are outlaying a fair sum of money, you need to believe that the company will deliver and they certainly did. The install team, including scaffolders, arrived as planned and were all professional and efficient. Think Free Solar have a great team including Danielle in the office who kept me updated on progress. I highly recommend them if you are thinking of having solar panels installed.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. Been thinking about getting solar for a couple of years, but never got around to doing it. Daryl was very informative about the whole process, and explained everything in detail and put our minds at rest. The scaffolders came the day before installation and were very polite and got on with the job. Installation day came, everybody involved were brill, got on with job, explained what was happening at every step. Cleaned everything up afterwards, even all packaging. Would recommend Think Free Solar to anybody thinking of getting solar. And a big thank you to Danielle for sorting tariffs and answering any questions we had, once again a very big thank you for making a very big decision for us so stress free. And a big thank you to all the team involved.

Can't speak highly enough of Think Free Solar; from the initial meeting with Daryl to the installation everything went smoothly and the team were fantastic. The scaffolding was put up the day before and taken down the day after installation, just as we were told, and the installation was surprisingly quick. The panels look great and have been performing well, despite a downturn in the weather. The team have been so helpful and friendly. Ben even waited when I was delayed getting home from work to help me install the app on my phone and explained how everything worked. Danielle and Lauren were helpful and friendly and made everything so easy. I would not hesitate to recommend Think Free Solar to anyone thinking of getting solar panels installed.

Even from the initial consultation we had a feeling we were going with the right company and it was the way to go. The set up was done to our requirements and electric usage. Daryl, Tom and Danielle are very friendly, helpful and approachable. If I had any questions about anything they were happy to answer them no matter what time of day or night. The fitting date was Monday, scaffolding went up Friday and was down on the Tuesday which was great. The scaffolding lads were excellent and very careful with installation round the house.
Fitting day my wife was a little nervous about it but she said she shouldn’t have been as Ben, Al and Angus were lovely people, very professional, courteous and friendly. They tidied everything up at the end of the day and left everything spick and span.
We had an issue with two batteries being damaged, not their fault, they stayed until it was sorted out and ended up doing an eleven and a half hour shift. Well done lads.
Daryl and Danielle have even sorted out our electric tariffs so we are on the best one for our usage. The after sales experience is just as good as the fitting and I know that I am going to be looked after in the future. It’s been a great experience from start to finish.
If you are going solar then go Think Free Solar you definitely won’t regret it.

From day one meeting Daryl put our minds at ease as he was so knowledgeable and reassured us along with his expert knowledge as there many solar installers out there that are just interested in taking your money without the care that Think Free Solar do. The job when we’ll scaffolding up the day before and one full day for the installation all the team was respectful and very polite and knew the job well I would definitely recommend Think free solar and personally give them 5 stars plus ******

I can't praise Think Free Solar enough for the incredible job they've done. From my very first enquiry right through to the final switch-on, the entire process was smooth, professional, and completely stress-free.

A massive thank you to Daryl, who was absolutely brilliant throughout. He provided complete support at every stage and responded to every single message I sent almost instantly — no question was too small, and nothing was ever too much trouble. It made such a difference having someone so reliable and knowledgeable to guide me through the whole journey.

The installation itself was flawless. The scaffolding went up the day before, and the team arrived bright and early to get everything done. By the end of the day, the scaffolding was already back down and the whole solar panel and battery system was up and running. The installation crew were fantastic — friendly, tidy, and incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain everything and make sure I was happy with the setup before they left.

Thank you to the entire team at Think Free Solar for such a seamless and enjoyable experience. I genuinely couldn't have asked for more, and I would recommend this company to anyone considering going solar. You won't be disappointed!

We recently had solar panels installed, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The service was brilliant and the team kept us informed every step of the way with clear, prompt communication.
The installation was carried out professionally, and everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand. What really stood out is the aftercare and ongoing support. The team has been fantastic, always happy to answer questions and happy to provide help whenever we've needed it.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering solar panels. A first-class service with excellent communication, outstanding aftercare, and genuine customer support. Thank you Think Free Solar Ltd

What a great experience. I spent months researching solar, comparing multiple quotes and proposals before deciding on Think Free Solar. Not only was their system exactly what I was looking for, but their price was also the best of the bunch.

I was a little worried it might be too good to be true, but the installation day couldn't have gone better. The team were friendly, professional, respectful of our home, and left everything spotless. The office staff have been brilliant too, helping with a configuration change just a couple of days after the installation with no fuss.

From the initial quote through to after-sales support, the whole process has been excellent. I'd happily recommend Think Free Solar to anyone considering a solar and battery system.

Think Free Solar fitted 100 panels storage batteries and converter for us. The process was completely flawless from start to finish the communication was excellent from Daryl and Danielle and everyone involved.

I was looking for a home battery system to power my home and eliminate power outages as we have them quite frequently. Think free solar gave me the best price for the system that I wanted and it was installed without any issues and is fully functioning as it should. I will see a very significant reduction in my monthly energy bill as the battery system is charged overnight on the off peak and my daytime grid usage is minimal now. In due course I will be increasing my battery capacity and adding more batteries for maximum efficiency due to the amount of energy we use on a daily basis. I will be going back to these guys to do the additional work in due course

From start to finish I found this company, in particular Darrel, professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Having had past experiences with ‘cowboys’ this was a refreshing change.
The work was carried out very speedily and without any disruption to my business. I definitely would recommend

Recently had solar panels battery storage and an ev charger fitted . Jonathon was extremely professional and explained the whole process ,he gave us a price which we were happy to pay , unlike the previous companies we had seen .The installation was carried out in one day by Ben and his team to an extremely high standard .After the installation Ben installed all the relative apps on our phones and explained how to use them ,the guys just couldn’t do enough for you .The after sales is equally as professional .Jeff called to see us to make sure we were 100% happy (which we are) Danielle has also been extremely helpful . I would definitely recommend you use this company the whole process has been superb

From start to finish of project clear communications and great planning. Installation team efficient and finished works to high quality.

What an outstanding job these guys do!
From the initial quote where everything was discussed to full proof our needs and expectations, to a the final fitting by such a professional team , nothing was a problem for them !
I cannot express how exceptional these guys are, the job was so neat and tidy, with in death explanations on how everything would work!
Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional job !

We have been extremely happy and impressed with our experience with Think Free Solar from start to finish.

The initial consultation was excellent. Daryl took the time to explain all of the available options in detail and designed a bespoke system tailored to our energy usage and specific requirements. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and there was never any pressure to make a decision.

After receiving the quote, we were very happy with both the proposed solution and the price, so we decided to go ahead. From that point onwards, we were kept fully informed about what to expect on the installation day, making the whole process feel organised and stress-free.

The installation week began with the scaffolders arriving on the Sunday. They erected the scaffolding quickly and efficiently, were friendly and respectful of our property, and left everything clean and tidy.

On Monday morning at 8:00am, the installation got underway. The first member of the team arrived alongside the delivery of the equipment, with the rest of the four-person installation team arriving shortly afterwards.

During the installation, the fitters suggested a slight change to the planned location of the battery. Before any changes were made, the office contacted me to ensure I was completely happy with the proposed alteration and to reassure me that there was absolutely no pressure to deviate from the original plan if I preferred. That level of customer care was greatly appreciated. In the end, the fitter's recommendation proved to be the better option, and I'm very glad I took their advice.

The installation itself progressed quickly, with the team working efficiently across multiple areas at the same time. It was obvious they were an experienced and well-coordinated team. When the time came to switch the power off to connect everything, the interruption lasted around 20 minutes, exactly as we had been advised during the original quotation.

Once the installation was complete, the team helped me set up the apps on my phone, explained how the system worked, and made sure I was comfortable using it before they left. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout.

On Tuesday, the scaffolders returned to dismantle the scaffolding. Once again, they worked efficiently, treated our property with respect, and left everything exactly as they found it.

Overall, this was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. It's rare to come across a company that is so well organised, communicates so effectively, and clearly takes pride in both its workmanship and customer service. Every member of the team we dealt with was professional, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Think Free Solar to anyone considering installing solar panels. They made what could have been a complicated process feel straightforward and stress-free, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. A final thank you to Danielle at Think Free Solar who kept us informed throughout the process by texts and email!

Very pleased with my solar panels. A huge thank you for all the team from Think Free Solar, very professional in all matters. Daryl explained in detail all what I needed for my system, what is suitable for our house, as every house is having different architecture and exposure to sun or size. 15 solar panels, battery, inverter and EV charger installed, very happy with all the system and with the fact that you can charge your battery overnight with 8p/kw, depending on what electric company you are with. Also Blue light card members are getting a discount which was very substantial for us. Very pleased and I recommend Think Free Solar for whoever wants solar panels in the future.

Early days but very happy with the system. Initial contact confirmed that the company was able to provide a superior product. Not the cheapest but worth the extra cost based on other quotes I received. Installation was excellent. Arrived on time, completed quickly and efficiently. Took me through the kit, operation and software. Very happy and would not hesitate to recommend Think Free Solar.

Great service from a knowledgeable company. The installation was carried out with precision and care. The afterservice is excellent and the support to get it all working is spot on. The panels, batteries, inverter and gateway work seamlessly. Would recommend them.
