Made in Lockdown. Built on Flavour. We’re the Umami Bros – three friends who started experimenting with flavour during the chaos of lockdown 2020. What began as a home kitchen obsession quickly became a mission: to craft a Japanese-style mayo with a British heart. Finding the right ingredients wasn’t easy. Sourcing during COVID meant delays, dead ends, and a lot of trial and error. But after months of testing and tweaking, we landed on a recipe we loved – rich, smooth, and bursting with umami. Born from craving, built with care – this is mayo made for flavour fans, by flavour fans. But don't just take our word for it; our mayonnaise has been awarded stars with the Great Taste Award for the last four years. Our product is silky, tangy and packed with umami. This Japanese-style mayonnaise is made in the UK using only the good stuff — 100% egg yolk, a carefully balanced blend of vinegars and cold-pressed British rapeseed oil. The result is a rich, velvety mayo with depth and character; perfect for drizzling, dipping or dolloping. We'd love to hear from you!

Sceptical at first as I am a massive Kewpie fan, but was genuinely blown away. The flavour and texture is everything you want from a mayo - soft, silky and umami. I can never use another mayo again!
