Three months in The Speaker Lab and it's been SOOOO great! It's a thorough program with hands-on help from experts. I've learned so much and I feel rarin' to go. My coach Corinne is fantastic, and Erick and Dan have been incredible, too. They are REAL speakers making things happen, so they know how it works!

I love how they get me to think and they're like border collies making sure I keep focused and on track. I now have my website polished, speaker reel done, and have pitched a dream association and applied to 3 major events, with more to come. If you're thinking about it, do it.

I came to The Speaker Lab thinking I needed help building a speaking business. What I really needed was someone to get me out of preparation mode. For a long time, my tweaking and editing preparation felt productive. I could work on the website, the message, the materials, the positioning, and always find one more thing that needed to be ready before I went out and asked someone to hire me.

Then my coach, Corinne Eckert, helped me get off the fence and just dive in. Production was different. Send the email, make the call, follow up, ask for the opportunity, take the highs and the lows. Then wake up and do it again.

Along the way, I became much clearer about who I serve, what I am naturally good at, and where my experience actually has value. The imposter syndrome that followed me into this process started disappearing because I was no longer imagining whether this could work. IT WAS AND IS WORKING.

And then I signed my first contract to get paid to speak. The contract is important, but it is really evidence of a much bigger change.

If you join The Speaker Lab, my advice is simple: use the coaching, listen when someone challenges you, and do the work that puts you in front of actual buyers. Preparation has its place. Eventually, though, you have to produce.

Once I finished writing the speech I realized I had a book concept, so I pitched it. Three publishers have expressed interest and I just got my first book offer. Instead of practical strategies, I got vague motivation, surface‑level tips, and group calls that added no value.

For the price I paid, I expected a professional, results‑driven system. What I got instead was a disappointing experience that felt more like a sales funnel than a legitimate coaching program. I walked away with no leads, no bookings, and no return on my investment.

I strongly advise anyone considering The Speaker Lab to think carefully before spending this kind of money. In my experience, the program did not deliver on its promises and was not worth the cost.
