I recently made an enquiry about solar and was contacted by The Solar Geeks. The team were really helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to speak with — no pressure at all, just honest advice.

Unfortunately, due to ongoing renovations to my roof space, solar isn’t an option for me right now. That said, they were completely understanding and have arranged to follow up with me around August to provide a quote once everything is ready.

Really positive experience overall — would definitely recommend.

I had a really great experience with The Solar Geeks from start to finish. I’d been thinking about solar for a while but didn’t really know where to begin, and they made the whole process very straightforward.

The team were friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly without any pushy sales tactics. They looked at my property, talked me through how solar would work for my home, and explained the potential savings and options in a way that actually made sense.

What I liked most was that it felt like genuine advice rather than just someone trying to sell me something. They were honest about what would and wouldn’t work and answered all my questions patiently.

Overall a very professional and helpful experience. If you’re thinking about getting solar and want clear, honest guidance, I’d definitely recommend The Solar Geeks.

Do not be fooled, as soon as you put your number on their website they either try to spam you with calls or sell your number on. I'm not exaggerating, it hadn't even been 5 minutes since I filled in the form with my real number stupidly that they started calling me every 5 minutes and wouldn't stop calling even days later. Every time there's a new number calling me so I can't just block them. No reputable company would ever do that.

I’ve only just started the process, but so far I’m genuinely impressed. Got a call the same day I made my enquiry, and the person I spoke to was very knowledgeable. He even pulled up my roof on something! not technical myself but he could see my roof shape and size. It all felt very relaxed but informative. Looking forward to the home visit next week. Thanks for making this easy.

Really impressed with the service so far. everything’s been explained clearly, without any pressure or salesy tactics. The person I spoke to jake I think) took the time to walk me through the pros and cons, and it actually felt like they cared about whether solar was right for me not just about getting a sale.

I’ve not had the home visit yet, so I’m holding back the full 5 stars until I’ve seen the full picture and the numbers in black and white. But honestly, if the rest of the process is anything like the start, it’s probably worth 6 stars. Just being honest.

I Had a chat with one of the team (can’t remember the gent’s name, but he was spot on). Thought I knew a fair bit about solar, but turns out there’s more to it than I realised. They helped clear a few things up and I’ve got them coming round this weekend to show me what’s what. Helpful, straight-talking bunch .

I’ve been toying with the idea of solar for years. Feels like you see ads for it everywhere these days. I ended up speaking with The Solar Geeks to see what’s changed since I last looked into it. I’ve already got a decent understanding of the basics, but Sarah was great at bringing me up to speed with the latest updates, tech, and tariff info.

Decided to finally take the plunge and get one of their consultants out to go over the costs and potential return on investment. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

Helpful, honest, and easy to deal with.
A lovely guy called Jake talked me through how solar works and how it could potentially benefit me. Unfortunately, my roof has a few challenges like Velux windows, limited space, and a large tree causing shading :( so it turns out solar isn’t the right fit for me at the moment. That said, I really appreciated how straightforward the whole process was. The team at Solar Geeks saved me a lot of time and effort by giving me clear, honest advice without the need for endless research. They really know their stuff. Thanks again for your help!

Great experience from start to finish.
I’d been thinking about solar for a while but wasn’t sure where to begin. I came across an ad on insta called The Solar Geeks and decided to make an enquiry. George gave me a call and was incredibly helpful and he explained everything clearly and even checked my roof space to see if I had enough surface area for a system. Turns out I do, so we went ahead and booked a visit with one of their consultants to run through the numbers. Really appreciate the friendly and informative service. Thanks again!

I made an inquiry looking into solar as my electric bill has gone through the roof.

I spoke to a nice lady called Rebecca who talked me through what solar is all about and how much I'd be saving on my bills.

They explained that solar is not as simple as just getting a price online or over the phone and I need to get an assessment to be able to work out if it is going to work free of charge and I'll be able to work out at the end if its going to work for me and my family

I recently shared my interest in an advert regarding a quote. I spoke with an advisor who very smoothly ran over the process and assured me he was just helping me to explore options.

The need to schedule an assessment became very pushy (multiple calls & texts), even though I had tried to explain it wasn’t the right time and perhaps I could come back when I felt ready. The advisor very abruptly put the phone down at this stage.

Its clear that your team are having commission dangled in front of them for scheduling assessments which creates a very manipulative service. I will not use again.

My wife made the appointment and was told she would receive a confirmation text but never did, after talking it through together and looking at the company we decided to cancel but had no way of doing so, unfortunately the rep turned up at the door and I explained the situation he got huffy saying that he driven all the way here, I told him to take it up with the company and he stood there arguing with me, eventually I had to tell him to get off my property. If the company can’t even send out a text what else can’t they do?? Shocking attitude from the rep, taking it out on us also.

I made an enquiry online looking for solar panels and spoke to a few different companies.

I just want to leave this review because the guys at The Solar Geeks were impartial and they looked at different solar providers which was great as i did not feeling like i was being forced into buying from a particular company.

They found a solar provider that was in my area which had an offer at the time and actually got a much better price. The quality of service was great because I wasn't being forced into buying from a particular company - it was more about them finding what solutions were right for me.

They did a review of my house over the phone, talking me through the savings etc. My system is due to be installed tomorrow. I would highly recommend.
