i ordered 3 bags from this company and they sent 1. It took an extremely long time to get the one. I've repeated asked to have the other bags sent only to be told they are speaking to the warehouse. I would caution anyone using this company. I would be happy to remove this if they send me the 2 bags they still owe me or refund my money at this point.

I ordered The Cross shoulder bag. The Cross is a beautiful bag. The leather is gorgeous and will stand up to wear and tear. There’s not a single misplaced stitch. The workmanship is outstanding. The Cross was too big for my needs. I was looking for something more compact. Ultimately, I decided not to keep the bag. I reached out to The Real Leather Co. through the Contact Us page to request a return and refund. Rigelle answered me within 48 hours to review the options. It’s been an excellent experience working with Rigelle and The Real Leather Co. I will definitely recommend their website to friends and family and check back regularly for graduation and new job gift ideas.

This company misrepresents their products in virtually every way. Products are sourced in China and India. The leather is processed chemically and is NOT top grain cow leather. Buyer beware. Returning your product will likely be slow and refunds slower. They are a company located in Texas - ties to Great Britain are misrepresented and not accurate as to their Website claims.

I made two purchases. Both gifts to someone else. First item was returned. Second item sent. Then the nasty bills started coming to the individual I sent the gift to. Nasty letters for duty fees they owed on two Goat leather products shipped to them from India! No mention of these business practices at time of purchase. You don't expect to gift an item. Then bill that individual for their gift AND the returned gift. He paid the $100 not to have his credit ruined.

Rigelle responded very quickly and helped resolve a mistake I had made while ordering.

Terrible customer service.Package has not been delivered as expected and customer service will not respond to emails to assist. I knew this was too good to be true.

ATTN would-be buyers: your item will likely spend 2-3 weeks 'in transit' during which the clock for your eligible return window (30-days, according to website) is ticking. Support team offers zero consideration of their lengthy shipping times, even though those delays caused us to miss the date of intended recipient's birthday forcing us to purchase a second gift locally (interestingly, paid lower price and got significantly higher quality). They are not allowing a return of an un-opened item, even though we contacted them within 30 days of receiving the item, and ultimately are just not helpful. Our item will likely spend its life in the closet. Obviously will not be using this business ever again.

I am an American and ordered a leather duffel bag with free shipping. Five months later, I got a bill from fed ex saying I owed them duty taxes. I contacted the company and they said I am responsible for the taxes. This is bad business and I will do all I can to discredit this company.

I inadvertently ordered the wrong bag. I contacted the company to start the returns process following the directions on their website. Rigelle was my guide througout the process, and was an EXCELLENT navigator. I was kept informed of each step of the process, and the progress of the return. Everything Rigelle said would happen did happen! I fell confident this was indicative of how they do business, and will continue doing business with them!

I ordered a mini sling bag for a Xmas present and it arrived in January despite the on time shipping promise.
But that wasn’t the worst part. The bag came wrapped tightly only in bubble wrap with tape all over it. No box, Nothing else! It was the worst delivery packaging I have ever seen and of course, the leather was all wrinkled up. I have never seen a bag in such a bad state.

They said I wouldn’t be refunded unless I shipped it back, and now they won’t refund my shipping cost claiming that’s their “policy.” I suppose it’s their policy to not be responsible of damaged products due to their own negligence.

And to top it off, you can find the same products on Amazon for less! They’re marking up bags made in china that are sold on Amazon for less. Just go to Amazon and search, and save yourself money and headache. At least they have better customer service.

I would give zero stars if I could. Order a 300 dollars briefcase for my husband for Christmas. My husband did not like the style. From the time I ordered the bag it was only 14 days and I tried to return it because the 30 days hassle free return had not expired. I am beyond upset with this company. I sent ten emails to them with no response. Finally when the responded they asked why I wanted to return the bag. Two weeks after that they sent an email where I can ship the bag which was with no shipping label and at my expense. Tracked the bag and it was received two weeks ago and I still have not gotten a response or a refund. So now they have the bag and my money. Save your money and time do not do through this company. NEXT STEP IS THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!

The color on the bag rubs off all over everything. I reached out to customer service and after a week of dragging their feet, they said that just happens. I paid too much for it to be this cheap. And I posted a review on their site, which doesn’t show up on their site at all. I would definitely not purchase from them again.

My initial order was lost by FedEx. Rigelle at The Real Leather Co was amazing at handling the situation. Bottom line: yesterday I received a beautiful briefcase that I will be proud to carry.

Order was placed on January 20. Delivery time frame was 3-5 business days. It’s now February 3. They have no phone number. Multiple emails to their support finally got a response which basically said “it’s clearing customs and on the way.” I have asked to cancel this order as I’m unsatisfied with the delay, customer service and reviews I’m reading about the quality of their product.

After some back and forth through emails, Rigelle & The Real Leather Company stayed with me and a blessed resolution took place. I appreciate the willingness to make right, stand behind, and support me as a customer. Thank you again and again.

Great Quality Leather products. The Cross and Man Bag more than met my expectations.

My items came shipped from 2 different sources. The bag was poorly packaged, but my husband was happy with it nonetheless. The other package had an item missing and Rigelle was able to get that sent to me though with a delay over the holidays.

I ordered a leather bag ("The Hickory" messenger bag) that was shown on their website as being available in two colors that were both listed as "in stock - ready to ship." Three days later I checked the website and saw that the item was OUT of stock in both colors! I reviewed 'The Hickory' dimensions and realized it would actually be too small for what I wanted to carry, so I wrote them an email asking them to cancel my order. Got an email response that said "Due to the high volume of emails at this time, responses may take a little longer than usual."

The following (fourth post-order) day, I repeated my request for canceling and explained that it would be too small and is now listed as 'out of stock.' No response. Three days after that I received an email notice from the company that "Your order is ON THE WAY!" I wrote immediately and reminded them I had canceled the order. They again responded saying they had received too many emails and it will take a while to respond.

On 1/19/26 I got an email saying that they could not cancel my order because it had already shipped. Later that day it arrived on my doorstep, sent by a completely different company whose name was written in Asian characters - unreadable, untrackable. I still don't know where it came from.

They further said in subsequent emails that once they create a shipping label, it's too late to cancel whether they've provided the package to the shipper yet or not. No way that could be true - they could contact the shipper and tell them to cancel the shipment. Good luck canceling orders with these people.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

They have great customer service, but you can purchase the same product a lot cheaper from other companys. Most all of the products come from the same place, look into it and save your money.
