I have had to engage a solicitor at a lot of expense to myself they have a slow response and drag there feet they are very unhelpful and not nice people to deal with they try to make as much money as they can from peoples investments and aren't helpful should you wish to unlock your tax free lump sum or a down draw pot it's not long now until my funds get moved where I can start unlocking my funds I would recommend nobody to invest in this company

Every delaying tactic to avoid paying me my pension was employed by this company. Lengthy waits on the phone, complaints procedures take weeks to reply, incorrect paperwork sent by snail mail, and in the end I had to write to the Sales Director, who is responsible for customer service...... avoid dealing with this company if you can.
Bad for UK Workers and Unsafe
I currently hold a pension with one of the companies this organisation has bought out.
Large companies like this that go in and dismantle UK founded companies they have purchased and then outsource all the work to India are horrible for the UK workforce and massively diminish the quality and standards those companies were founded upon.
There is also a massive safety concern with Indian data leaks that allow scammers to obtain customer details. I definitely don't want thousands and thousands of pounds of my money and my own personal information exposed to Indian call centre scammers!
Once I find a secure UK based pension provider that puts it's employees and customers ahead of its shareholders I will be moving my pension far away from Phoenix Group
GET YOUR MONEY OUT ASAP
Yet another company UK based company transferring all its administrative duties to India. Security of your assets is of no concern to these clowns

If you can get access to your pension your lucky. This company use all the delaying tactics they can to release your money. In addition the staff are rude inept and of little use. Dreadful experience. Avoid like the plaque.

ON NOTICE Reassure & Phoenix Holdings. (One company) I am requesting that your company (Phoenix) correct and resolve my two policies that you have failed to administer correctly forcing my family and I to endure over 16 years of hell since 2008. I have two failed policies, one an income plan, direct loss of circa £200,00.00 plus my losses.
My SIPP pension loss ranges from £700,000.00 plus my losses.
Amounts vary on both dependent on the headings included.
Your companies that are involved are Reassure, Phoenix, Namulas and Liverpool & General.
I have reported what has transpired to your “whistle blower” that too was a waste of time, in house and refused to comment on anything that would incriminate your company or company officials.
Currently supplying a full report of your failures, my losses, serious impact on my health etc due to your direct failures to a UK investigative journalist. He is not only going to write about your failures / losses with regard to my policies, but also your treatment of other policy holders, like the lady fighting to live but still having to fight your company, for her pay out, plus the involvement of all your various circular owned moody companies, who just keep ignoring / passing us policy holders from pillar to post . I also question how you can spend millions on rebranding, new offices etc hundreds of paid for awards, staff perks, offer jobs to keep your staff happy, £60,000 plus 32% bonus, 10% pension, health insurance, that’s £100,000 package to keep your staff happy, plus so many other perks including Home delivered healthy of pizza.
My problem with your company’s are above your customer service level. So will you arrange a meeting as requested for over 16 years or will you continue to ignore my family. Andy Briggs / Matt Cuhls take ownership.

I contacted Sunlife to complain and close my account. They gave the usual cut and paste insincere apology stating the card is nothing to do with them and if there are issues I should contact the other scammers at love2shop. This is illegal as sunlife well know and breaches every distance selling and selling regulation there is. Thats OK Im outta here anyway. HOWEVER you imagine if your loved one has died and you have to sort out their affairs and deal with these couldnt give a darn scammers trading under a shill company now owned by fat cat PHOENIX group (read their awful reviews here too) who also own lots of other brands in the field so be very careful who you insure with.

Signed up having been tempted by the free £120 giftcard. Sunlife were very good and gave us the card 3mths early. Then it all goes downhill. Its a gift card with more strings then a banjo!! Love2shop website is clear as mud beyond forcing you to register which is crystal. It has a whole list of shops but no mention how to use the card. It turns out there is very limited option for online use of card and so the offer is worthless to us. Contacting love2shop doesnt work either unless you are prepared to hand over ALL your confidential data. None of which is needed to answer a simple question about their slippery website. Sunlife should be more discerning about who they jump into bed with. The cards going in the bin and the sunlife account is being closed. Its an over 50s life insurance policy so I am guessing by design they dont think many folk will grasp the smoke and mirrors concept. Can you imagine the nightmare claiming on the policy!!! no thanks.

matured 2 years ago still not received my money ,
customer service a joke, sent id twice they say keep losing items, having to go through ombudsman's to try and get my money, don't invest if i was you make sure you read all the small print
Truly awful company
Truly awful company who make money by hanging onto yours. Most people won’t be able to avoid this bottom feeder as they will have hoovered up your policy from elsewhere. Every possible delaying tactic is employed.
Grim and frustrating dealing with this outfit
A bereavement, followed by appalling customer service. Repeated failures to follow through with myself and financial advisers, perpetual failures to fully answer questions posed and repeated mistakes in investigating these. Even false claims being made about events that never occurred, whilst inconvenient facts are just ignored. Their absolute contempt for any meaningful standard of customer care is only matched by my lack of regard for a company that cannot be factual in recognising events and fabricates events that have just not occurred. Just awful.
Appalling service and complaints procedure
Lock you into the company by suspending a fund! Why, the performance now is as abysmal as past five years? Do not communicate suspension of a fund, Is this legal? Complain and told will be sent a letter about suspension, nothing sent. Complain again, told being reviewed, then comlaint dismissed as they could not be bothered to tell me fund suspended and that is ok!!
Make money out of pension funds by providing no service and awful returns. Move your pension as soon as you can!
