Nottingham Building Society is a pleasure to deal with face to face. However, trying to set up the on-line app is a complete nightmare. The 'one-time' password keeps failing to arrive in a timely manner; each time it fails to arrive after 5 minutes I request another, assuming it must have been lost in the ether. After three tries at trying to get the password to appear in my inbox, I am locked out. I do not have this trouble either with my on-line bank account or my University account, both of which require passwords/pass codes to be sent to my email inbox.

Hello, this was my first experience with the Nottinghamshire Building Society. Before visiting the branch it was lovely to actually talk to a person on the phone. The staff in branch were friendly and approachable and opening an account was very straightforward.

They were efficient, polite and thorough.

A very well informed young lady. She was very pleasant and thoroughly professional.

Very helpful and friendly in branch. Pleased to find that we didn't have to make an appointment to see an advisor when we wished to invest in a bond. It was so long winded and inconvenient to come back when it was easily done over the counter Well done!

Please keep branches open, and use passbooks. Many older people like us do not like computerised banking, we like to talk to a person.
