It's by far not for everyone this life style but lowe have made it much Easyer
The online fourms are self contained and easy
The Propertys are grate!! The electrics plumming on point you can't expect a full functioning place due to nature of the conditions but it all ways seems fair and everything is looked into and explained
And the payment system emailes you to remind you your rent is coming out as it is big chunk of money that might be in another account etc so very handy
Commication is very good not overwhelming but also fast when needs to be

I think Lowe are generally a well run company, in an industry known for ‘dodgy dealings’. However, my experience was very poor - and I have receipts of everything. Use this as a word of warning, everyone, if you require support from Lowe.
I’ve been a guardian at a property for 6 months (Telford Road), and have a high threshold for putting up with things I don’t like. I handed in my notice to leave today.
- my radiator doesn’t work, and I gave up asking for someone to fix it after 4 attempts. It’s been 6 months. My window has what look BB gun holes, so you can imagine how freezing it was during winter. Lowe did nothing to address this.
- 2 rooms on my floor have couples in them, something I was told would not happen (couples). Normally I wouldn’t care, but the noise after midnight is high, on a daily basis. Coupled with the fact there are 2 washing machines for 36+ people; it can be a stressful experience.
- you’re told you can create an identity in the living areas, but in reality, you’re not allowed (due to extremely inconsistent fire safety and building safety rules. WILDLY inconsistent)
- had no working sink in the kitchen for 3 weeks
- the worst black mould I’ve seen in a room I’ve lived in, there when I moved in. I believe this caused severe lung issues for a period of 2 weeks.

I’m a nutshell, the rooms in the building I’m in are very overpriced for the service and support you should receive, and far from promoting community living, Lowe are effectively landlords who aren’t bound by the same rules protecting tenants.

A variety of checks are necessary to become a guardian. The process however was extremely smooth and rapid. It was very easy to get through on the telephone with the opportunity to talk to human being. The property I am in is to a very good standard and extremely good value. Also what is reassuring is that all my fellow residents have been vetted via DBS so I can be sure to trust my neighbours. Everyone I have spoken to in the residence are conscientious and mature and in responsible jobs. I am a key worker needing an accommodation in London so therefore perfect for me
I've just moved into a LOWE guardianship and I'm loving it so far! It's a really friendly, creative space and the LOWE team have been great at welcoming us all in.
My experience with Lowe has been absolutely wonderful. The letting team was tremendously helpful, friendly and approachable. They really care about your experience of the viewing the property but also about how each individual might or might not be suitable for a particular space, which benefits both sides in the long run. I cannot thank enough everyone who guided me through that experience. Thank you , for your help, expertise you share and such a wonderful customer service .

I have been a Lowe guardian for 5 years and count myself lucky to have secured a fantastic living space in London. They have been terrific from day one - responsive & reactive.
Lowe make life affordable and offer freedom from being caught out. You are responsible and work together to build a community in the area it works. Would recommend living as a guardian in a LOWE property
It’s just a very basic accommodation facility ideally suitable for single occupancy with basic shared facilities within affordable budget
LOWE always seem to fix & address any issues within a reasonable time frame especially compared to private landlords.
I’m am neurodivergent and struggle with things like moving home and trying to sort out the logistics of finding and affordable and comfortable place to live. I’ve been with LOWE for a few years on and off, but recently I was supported so much by Taylor. She was able to help me find the right place and was hyper aware to my needs as someone who is autistic and responds poorly to stressful situations. She was always responsive to my messages - even outside office hours - when we were a week out with no place to go. Thank you, Taylor!

I was lucky to live as a licensee under Lowe; I stayed with them for two years.
I got a job in London, and I did not realise how difficult the housing situation was. Thankfully, I found Lowe, and I had a great experience with them. They usually resolved problems immediately.
There were some minor issues during my stay, but I can say Lowe is a reliable company. If I return to London, I would consider staying with Lowe again.
