Louis is nothing short of exceptional, he knew EXACTLY what I wanted and went above and beyond. I will never go anywhere else for my hair, amazing as always.

Awa was absolutely amazing. The time and care she put into the cut was a reminder of how valuable skill remains in this modern world. Top marks all around.

I lost my hairdresser of 28 years last year (2024) and this was a big deal. He had become a close friend and someone I trusted so much. Finding a new person was no easy decision but I knew Jason at the Lion & The Fox and trusted him. I knew it would be the right decision and it was. He is so welcoming, funny, and makes you feel good when you are there and once you leave. The team are friendly and welcoming.

Tim has been cutting my husbands hair for a few years now and suggested I should try him after I was feeling in a hair rut. Thank goodness I listened to him! Tim is an amazing stylist and I am so happy with my hair now. Also Sarah is a very talented colourist who has blended my irregular grey hair and has taken years off me (according to my fam 😂) It’s also a lovely salon with a super friendly vibe. I thoroughly recommend The Lion and The Fox and would give ten stars if I could!

Such a lovely salon, friendly and professional. Stylish and relaxed with a great balance of being attentive and uninvasive - not an easy thing to do and pretty rare in my experience! Love the big windows and cartoon decorations too. Highly recommended.

It was my first visit to The Lion and The Fox. Everyone was very welcoming. I was anxious about explaining what I wanted. I needn’t worry. Anna was wonderful. I felt like a lifelong customer. Anna was very helpful. She gave me a wonderful haircut and styling as well as explaining why my hair was greasy all the time. I bought the products she recommended and my hair is light and flyaway. This is such a warm, welcoming salon. Jason has been cutting and colouring my hair for a few years now; he’s a lovely man, a brilliant hairdresser and a colouring genius! I couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

My hair needed a total overhaul. Post menopause and I was feeling very boring and drab. Ewa was just the artist to look after me. I had an idea and she worked with it. So happy and feel like myself again. Can't be happier.

I love this salon and have been coming for several years after a friend recommended it. It doubles as an art gallery and the art is brilliant! The staff are friendly and helpful and I always feel welcome and looked after. Tim has been doing my hair for the last couple of years and together we have worked to create the best hair style I’ve ever had. He is an artist and a lovely human being - so much so that he feels like an old friend. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Once you try it you will definitely keep going back as I do.

So lovely to be back in Anna's capable hands, although Tim was amazing while she was away. I went in looking like a woolly mammoth and came out with a spring in my step. How Anna puts up with my wittering I'll never know. So a great experience and lovely to get to know Jen too. Definitely worth the schlep in from the burbs.

Sarah was standing in for my usual hairdresser Jason (who I love), and she did a brilliant job—fun, friendly, and gave me a great cut and colour (not better than Jason, but close!). And special shout-out to Jen for the best head massage I’ve had in ages—absolute bliss. Left feeling totally refreshed.

Book with Tim, Tim is the best! He’s been cutting my hair for years and helped me plan my wedding hair style. I love visiting The Lion & The Fox, it’s a really great salon with a very easy vibe, and they use Davines products which are the best.
