I felt that I was a rather difficult customer due to rhe amount of special requests I inquired to the karat store about, but every request they were happy to fulfill. Although I wasn't able to receive the ring on time, at the fault of my own procrastination, they did everything in their power to get it as soon as possible which I am forever great full. I would highly recommend the karat store to anyone in search of diamond jewelry.

I purchased a tennis bracelet for my daughter as a birthday present and was pleasantly surprised on the quality. We are both very happy with how it turned out. Freya was super helpful with getting it to me in time for my event :) very glad to work with them!

This bracelet is stunning. It looks like the real deal. I appreciate the clasp has a locking feature. Its too pretty for everyday wear but I am not taking it off.

By far one of my best jewellery buying experience. I bouan engagement ring and was totally stunned with the outcome. They also have a pretty extensive collection of other jewellery that surpasses all big jewellery brands. Must visit

This week I received my order and it was really awesome experience shopping with them, I purchased a eternity band for my self to stack with a other ring that I already have, and it was amazing seeing how beautifully it combined. And most important thing they made it for me in budget. Thanks a lot. Will look to buy with them again in future.

BEWARE. TERRIBLE BUYING EXPERIENCE. I ordered a multicolored sapphire necklace from The Karate Store for my wife's 60th birthday on April 26, 2025. The item arrived on May 18th. The item that I received was similar, but not exactly, what I ordered (the color order of the stones was not as pictured). I contacted The Karat Store and a representative named Freya was initially very helpful and provided a shipping label to send the item to their local jeweler who was going to correct the order of the stones. I shipped the item and the jeweler sent me a picture of them receiving the package on June 17th. After about 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I started contacting them asking if the item had shipped, for tracking info, etc. All in all I contacted them 15 times between June and August (6/30, 7/9, 7/21, 7/24, 7/25, 7/29, 7/30, 7/31, 8/8, 8/9, 8/10, 8/12, 8/13, 8/26 and 8/27) asking where my necklace was. Most were WhatApp chat messages. Whenever I would try to call they would never answer but would immediately send me a chat. They indicated it had shipped but would never provide tracking information. Then they said it was stuck in customs. Then they said it was shipped back to them. In the end, I never got the corrected necklace back, they stopped responding to me and they would not refund my payment despite my request. I had to challenge the charge with my CC company to get my money back. Terrible experience. Just plain dishonest.

I bought a ring that was poorly made and had a lot of trouble getting it refunded.

I purchased an emerald ring from the Karat Store. I loved the design and I had great interactions with their customer service during the sale. However, after a month or so the gem fell out. Luckily I noticed and was able to save the gem and asked for a repair, which they agreed to and arranged a pick up for.

The repair ended up taking months, with me needing to constantly ask for updates, hearing it was surely coming within a few days or a week, it not coming, and going through this cycle again and again.

I eventually got a ring returned, only for the gem to fall out again the same day. This time I returned it for a refund.

And again, I needed to push and push for the money to be returned. At this point they had the ring and my money and were very slow to resolve the issue. Only after I threatened to report a consumer complaint did they suddenly and promptly return the money.

I am only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the front end experience was good, the design was nice, and I eventually got the money back.

But I shouldn't have needed to threaten or continually follow up to have them follow through on their obligation. Customer service on the repair/refund side of their operations is very poor—making purchasing something valuable online very risky. My experience is that Karat has proven to not be trustworthy. I have used other online jewelry sites that are much more responsive; do not use Karat.

The Karat Store is very accommodating , The ring is very nicely set. I enjoy wearing it. Excellent customer service.

Shipping was on time, Freya helped in every question and quality is super good

This experience has been a saga… ultimately, after my experience, this company is not worth trusting and delivered subpar goods and lied about gold to me.

I got a ring with lab grown diamond with “18ct gold”, but the first one was so shoddily made and crude. It looked awful, did not have my inscription, etc. So they say to send it back. I do, and the next one is passable - except they still forgot the inscription.

I give the ring to the girl, but when we resize the ring, all of the yellow gold on the ring melts off. Revealing silver underneath. So I paid for an upgrade to 18ct gold, they lie about the material used, and then have so far offered no recompense for this. This is slimy behavior, and for such an important gift, do not trust them.

Now her entire family thinks I bought her a gold plated engagement ring! Terrible stuff, that stays with you for a long time.

I ordered a gold pendant, and it looks even better in person. The design is elegant. Will definitely shop again!
