FF FG government propaganda tube. Censorship in comments section is rampant, they delete what doesn't suit their far-left agenda. Worse than communism censorship yet they claim their democracy is superior to communism. No, it isn't.

Extremely poor journalism if you could even call it that. Biased beyond belief. Comments section full of the same people every day, If u dare to have a different opinion you are attacked.

Completely biased left wing rag. Anyone who attempts to comment if you disagree with the narrative they are pushing is automatically blocked from doing so with criticism removed. Worst excuse for a newspaper I have ever come across, avoid this echo chamber if "investigative journalism" is what you are looking for, more truth to be found written on the wall of public toilets.

I was banned, I do not have a reason for this, I sent them several messages to try to rectify this. but they simply refuse to reply. I look at comments on the journal and wonder how are these allowed, they come from the same people all the time, yet they are not banned. I have never trolled anyone or used any form of language. I think its bad form ...

If I could give 0 stars I would, the amount of trolls on this site is ridiculous, and then I get banned from commenting standing up to them where as they are free to spew hate speech, terrible journalism too most articles are copy and paste or full or spelling errors, the only reason people use this site is so they can troll or spout hate, don't use this place for news use real journals

Extremely biased left/regressive outlet. No balance in regards to important issues.
They have a comments section which they manipulate through blocking users and deleting comments which are critical of their agenda.

Was one of my favorite news sites, until I made a comment they didn't like..

I'm a web developer and I don't know how they do it but they banned me, and there is no way for me to circumvent it, it's very strange, I have tried everything, fresh PC, fresh email, fresh twitter, it doesn't matter, it always shows that I am banned from commenting. This leads me to believe they have certain identifying data on all of their users or some very intrusive way of tracking their visitors and keeping out the voices they don't want to be heard on their platform.

I would be very cautious of this news source.

terrible quality news articles, used to be interesting click bait in the early years but have now moved full scale pro government agenda ridden garbage. Complete far left liberalism.

Extremely biased liberal left media station in Ireland. They have a comments section under most of their articles which is one of their only good points. But, TheJournal.ie abuse this tool to their own benefit. if a user comments negatively regarding the story or how bias the article appears to be the user gets blocked and banned and cannot post any comments ever again. This is wholly against free speech which a user comments section is meant to be. They should not allow any posts at all if they cannot allow even the slightest negative post regarding a story they produce. (They even disable comments on certain stories which have more negative posts than positive). I find the Journal write extremely biased articles towards liberalism and very rarely write opposing articles. They seem to have very young liberal writers who have gone through the mainstream journalism colleges who have been indoctrinated into the current liberal narrative. Media is meant to be unbiased. They should really get their act together.
