The Indian Food Carriage Anmeldelser 

The Indian food carriage visits our workplace most weeks and I always have the Samosa Chaat. It's very tasty and would highly recommend.

I was shopping for Christmas presents a month or so back and this van was parked by the shops. Me and my dad wanted a snack and we wanted to try something different and more fulfilling than the usual McDonalds and KFC nearby (not that they’re not yummy too in their own way lol). But we walked over to this van and the woman running it and (I’m assuming her husband) were so friendly! We got a paneer spring roll, a samosa and a mango lassi. They gave us a potato patty for free as they were closing soon as well as lots of delicious extra hot sauces free of charge. It was all so crisp and hot and obviously homemade. The chilli sauces were fresh and tantalising and nothing was greasy or made you feel bloated. The mango lassi me and my dad both loved and we watched them make it with fresh ingredients. It was so creamy yet with the brightness and sweet fruit taste coming through in the mango. We spoke to the lady for some time and she told us how long she had been open for and was so nice to talk to :). Can recommend this food van 100%’

Tried the samosas they were great full of flavour and loads of filling even tried the Indian tea that was nice to even bought a packet to try at home. The staff were really friendly will be coming back again Steve

The family team are very lovely, friendly and proficient. The food is wonderful, I loved the butter chicken and rice and also the paneer spring roll, delicious

Superb Food and Service for 50 people with guest regularly commenting how good the food was. Subs and Trenesha managed the whole thing brilliantly.

We brought the kids for lunch, we had spring rolls and mango smoothies. They were absolutely incredible and we had to go back for seconds. The lady owner was really nice and informative and the food was piping hot.

Food was fantastic, we had a selection of starters, and my daughter loved the Mango Lassi. She is now and Indian food convert.

The best samosa and potato cake I have tasted.. Very friendly and polite staff.. Will definitely keep going and using them for future catering services.

We were walking past to go to another shop and were stopped by the delicious smell! We visited then on our way back and got a range of different samosa and rolls. It was all delicious !! We will definitely return!

I was just going to another shop and saw this truck parked with nice aroma inviting me towards it.

I bought a chicken biryani which came in a paper box with greens and some yogurt Raita. Amazing aroma and beautifully cooked rice without extra and overly oily masala and some boneless chicken cubes- I don't like a lot of meat in my biryani ( which I really liked). This came with plastic wrapped cutlery.
The taste was nice too with yummy aroma and right amount of spices.

While purchasing, I was offered to try the tea for free- I am not a tea person at all, I got a full cup of the tea and tried it there and then- it was OMG!!! I just fell in love with it. The cardamom and cinnamon spices were so nice and aromatic especially on a cold rainy and stormy day like this. I purchased their tea as well.

Amazing couple, very friendly and courteous.

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. Highly recommended.

Wow…..what a great surprise today outside Boots in Altrincham. Proper authentic Indian Cuisine, served with a smile. Proper explosion of tastes and it looked as good as it tasted!! Recommend to anyone.

Lovely samosa

The Indian Food Carriage threw a fabulous lunch for a Black Friday event our head office and warehouse. Every member of staff complimented the food and they even managed to cater for a couple of intolerances we had. The food itself was exceptional and left us with a very happy team. Thank you!

Lovely welcoming people & gorgeous food! Couldn’t recommend enough

Stumbled across this on Saturday and what a nice little find. Quick chat with the two owners who were very nice and informative about their food offerings. I tried a samosa (which was free) and the taste was lovely, really fresh and the filling was plentiful. I then ordered a chicken curry and rice to take away. Again, lovely and very flavoursome. Will be back!

Such lovely food and such lovely people! I’m definitely recommending to my company at our next event!!
