Unprofessional; money-grabbing.
I ordered a ball of 1.6mm Whipping Twine. What arrived was 1.0mm. I tried to complain by phone; but discovered that their "Customer Service" number was actually a high-priced Premium Rate 0845 one. I complained about the incorrect supply by email. They demanded a photo, as evidence that the order was wrongly supplied. I took a photo of the ball, and of the twine being measured through a Vernier guage at 1.0mm. They then asked for ANOTHER photo. I gave up. All this, for a £4 ball of twine??? The Hemp Shop clearly could care a toss about their customers. A V O I D ! ! !

It was nice speaking with you on the phone again recently, after you placed another order with us (October 2022).
During our conversation, we both agreed that although there were some initial problems, this original matter was resolved satisfactorily in the end, and you said that you would reconsider your original review as it did not reflect the entire experience with us.
We're sad to see that you have not yet updated the review to reflect the actual levels of service you received.
An updated on the phone number, we're now on our new 0345 1235869 number, which is free to call from the UK.

We're sorry you feel this way - perhaps we can explain.
The 0845 number is a local rate, 5pence a minute from a standard UK landline - it is not premium rate. We also have published on our website and also on the web, the alternate landline number as well - we try to help people getting in contact with us by phone, with these different solutions. And we are soon to launch our new 03 number which will also be low rate.
Yes, we always and have forever requested photos of any problems or issues with an order, this helps us and also the manfuacturer of the product to sort the problem out quickly - and as we were unable to see the actual ball of twine clearly from the image you sent us, we requested another. As we let you know, this was for the manufacturer, so they could help us to find out why the size was incorrect and then for the manufacturer to send us the correct size. We let you know we were unable to do this measurement as we do not own a Vernier guage.
All this, to make sure we could send you the correct replacement, the right size.
As discussed, as soon as we have a solution from the manufacturer we will be back in touch.

Great product, arrived very quickly, and a query I had was dealt with efficiently and professionally (and kindly - since it was me who'd made a mistake about how much I'd ordered!) Lovely people.

The Bio Bloom hemp flower tea is amazing for sleep - really deep sleep. I have recommended it to several of my friends, it works even better if you add a drop of the CBD oil

I cannot recommend the hemp shop highly enough, their customer service is second to none. Their 100% hemp shirts are gorgeous and wash and wear really well. All in all they are the best.

One of the best online shops in the world
I found this shop when i was looking for some ecological products and as soon as i saw all the stuff they are selling (everything made from hemp which is the strongest material on earth) the clothes, skincare , food, and everything you can imagine made from this plant. When I was ready to pay for my order (£200) I had doubts but decided to give it a go. And no regrets. One of the best customer services online. I received emails confirmations and one item was not in stock so they sent emails with all sorts of different options and they called me on my mobile to explain. Everything packed and dispatched the same day and delivered the next day.
I'm really surprised and very happy.
