Complete scam! Enrolled my in an automatic monthly subscription without my knowledge or consent. The product is trash and comes in a tiny little sample size. Beware of anyone promoting this company! Filed a complaint with FDA and IC3

Placed order in March 2024, yet to receive anything. Emailed them, replied me as shortage of the stock - asked me if I would like to refund, replied them yes and no follow up, nothing happened…. Must be scam …🥲 my $81 just gone like that…. Horrible.

I placed an order with The Formula in March and have not received any of my items. Despite multiple attempts to contact the owners, I have received no response. Delays are understandable, but their complete lack of communication is unacceptable. A simple broadcast email informing customers of the delay would have sufficed. I rarely leave one-star ratings, but their lack of transparency and customer care merits this result.

I am furious. I, like others, seem to have fallen hook, line and sinker for the scam The Formula Skincare is. I was a loyal customer for 2 years and found the company service to be reliable. In February this year the company needed a break to upgrade their service to meet the demands of their customers. I still had an unfulfilled part of an order that I agreed could be sent to me after the company resumed business at the end of April. Well, I now cannot get any response from this company to arrange dispatch of my order and after no replies to the 8 emails I have sent in the last 2 weeks I am here writing this review. Avoid The Formula Skincare at all costs!

I've previously purchased from them and had no issues. However I'm now in the same boat as others that have shared their experiences.
I ordered in Feb, and after receiving a tracking notice that never changed status I reached out to enquire what was going on.
They apologised, offered a discount, and then apologised again citing illness for the slow response time.
I've since sent a few more messages all ignored and I've just seen their facebook page has disappeared.

Like others, I'm assuming they've gone bust or something but people should definitely AVOID this business for now!

I never leave negative reviews. I didn't go out of my way to leave this one. I was emailed a link to provide feedback, and I've waited 6 months before leaving this review. I think that's quite fair and reasonable.

I placed my first order with The Formula in December 2023. It was never sent. The seller initially replied to my correspondence with information on shipping delays and illness within their business, to which I was understanding of. I was so convinced by their story I was silly enough to accept a discount code and place a second order in March 2024. It's now almost the end of May 2024 and neither order has been posted. I've requested either for the items to be posted, or a refund. The seller no longer replies to correspondence directly or through the Shop app. To date, I still don't have the products or the refund.

I would avoid The Formula as a business, and take my chances buying Geek & Gorgeous products on Amazon. Alternatively, there's a nice little market for someone entrepreneurial to import Geek & Gorgeous products to Australia and actually post them.

I purchased a product on pre-order back in Feb with an estimated shipping of April 20th. That date has come and gone and no update on my product, and no answers to my 3 or so emails.

Ordered (#8771) over $100 of skincare in January and have yet to receive it. I have chased them and received apologies, promises and 15% discount codes for my next order, but no products. Finally after four months of chasing I requested a full refund they have ghosted me.

Have placed many orders before and had no issues but my order placed in Jan this year has not been sent. Initially I had lovely emails from Ashley regarding a restructure of the business because of supplier issues but now nothing. My account with them says the order has been filled even though I have not received it. Warning bells. I’ve asked for a refund, I will be going to fair trade if I don’t hear from them.
I have since lodged a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria. I was advised to send a letter of demand as The Formula Skincare have contravened the Australian Consumer Act Section 36, give them a time frame to respond, since it has been 6 months it won't be very long, then I am going to lodge a dispute with the small claims tribunal in NSW as this is where I live. I have advised Consumer Affairs Victoria that there are other customers that have had the same experience so they are looking into it. Please formalise your experience.

Never received my order made in February. They responded to my follow up query in March, but when following up again in April they never responded. Really disappointing.

I ordered two products from The Formula in December 2023, and they were on preorder for delivery in January. This never happened. I received a couple of emails about delays, but by March I started to get worried. I had many lovely email exchanges with the customer service team, but still never received my order. Eventually I requested a refund, which I received.

The customer service team also offered to send the products to me for free to make up for the inconvenience, but this didn't happen.

They seem like a very nice team of people who are struggling to keep up with demand, but I still feel very let down by the whole experience.

I am yet to receive my order after 4 months

As others have said, no response to emails despite them saying they will offer a refund if clients do not want to wait another 3 months for their order. $134 gone. Scammers!

Absolute scam. The first two orders were great. The third time I spent over $100 back in December. It has been 5 months and still no order. They got back to me apologizing and said my order should be with me any day now. This was a month ago. I am fed up.. I just want my hard earned money back.

I never received an order (order #9089) I placed back in January and now they appear to be ignoring my emails. I've contacted them on Instagram too with no luck. They also seem to have recently disabled comments on their posts which is very suss.

Its so disappointing because I had ordered from them in the past with no issues. :( :(

Like others, I pre-ordered back in early January and it was meant to ship before their temporary closure (I think by end of Jan). After chasing them up, they then promised it would ship in March. It has never shipped. Their email doesn't work and bounces back and I'm not even confident the online contact form works anymore, they've also limited comments on their Instagram after people started complaining. Last week by Instagram message they claimed they could send my order that week but of course it still hasn't shipped. I told them if they couldn't ship it I wanted a refund but they've stopped responding. I am considering complaining about this company to the consumer complaints commission at this point. It's possible this company has gone under and are not being honest about it, they're still accepting orders.

Ordered 100$ worth of products in January and they have not arrived and had little to no communication with the company now. Tried to email the email address on the website and it’s now bouncing which is seriously concerning. Do not order from here unless you want to throw away money waiting over 3 months for products to not arrive is shocking

Order not received. No response to emails requesting update or refund.

Scam, pre ordered items, have not received like many other people
Terrible customer communication, claim their emails are “not working”. Receive no update about shipping or delays in order.

Ordered from The Formula Skincare in January 2024, and it's now mid-April 2024 with no product in sight. Despite multiple emails, there's been no effort to resolve the issue. Terrible customer service and no sign of accountability. Avoid this company.
