The Deolix Academy was created for people who are serious about becoming luxury travel advisors and want real preparation, not hype or shortcuts. At its core, the Academy provides professional luxury travel advisor training designed to help people understand how this industry actually works and how to operate confidently within it. But it is more than a course library. The Deolix Academy is a guided, group mentorship environment built to support advisors as they develop the skills, judgment, and systems required to work with real clients and real responsibility. Many people are drawn to this career because they love travel. What often surprises them is that success in this field has far less to do with destinations and far more to do with communication, decision-making, industry knowledge, and professionalism. Our Become a Luxury Travel Advisor program was designed to address that reality directly. Training focuses on how advisors think, how they evaluate options, how they manage complex client expectations, and how they build a sustainable business around selling luxury travel. The Academy was founded by Dean Horvath, a long-time industry operator who built and scaled multiple successful travel businesses before turning his attention to education. After watching talented people struggle due to incomplete training and unrealistic expectations, Dean created The Deolix Academy to offer the kind of structured preparation and mentorship he wished had existed earlier in his own career. What makes the Academy different is the emphasis on ongoing support. Students are not left to “figure it out” alone after watching videos. Group mentorship, real-world guidance, and practical application are central to the experience. The goal is not just to share information, but to help advisors develop confidence through competence. The Deolix Academy is for people who want to treat luxury travel advising as a real profession. It is for those who want clarity, structure, and support as they build a career they can grow into over time. There are no promises of overnight success.
