Made it known what information was needed from the start and as soon as the information was provided gave the ok to get my phone repaired. Fast and efficient.

Gadget Insurance
Took out mobile phone insurance.
The phone stopped turning on whilst I was away for the wknd. My daughter who is 11 uses it.
I was notified on my return the mobile no longer works. I put a claim in and I am being punished for not reporting it within 48 hours even though I wasn’t in the country and I didn’t even know about it until I returned.
Claiming my daughter cannot use the device. Therefore it’s not insured.
Refuse to accept I wasn’t in the country to report issue earlier.
This company will do anything not to pay out any claims and I would recommend to seer well clear.
As you can see I don’t seem to be the only unhappy customer who felt the need to write a negative review.

Absolutely disgraceful service
Absolutely disgraceful service from this company. Insurance is through Nova direct and they are the same company pretending to be independent to deal with claims. I have never been treated this badly by any company ever before. Honestly disgusting.
Left a young woman with a toddler stranded. Said they would get a breakdown recovery then 2 hours later cancelled. Gave me a premium number to call to see if they could help. And then told me in the end there was nothing they could do. I had to sort it myself.
Despite being a gold member (the highest tier) they would only pay £60 to the breakdown company I found myself. And would only pay for mileage from the pickup to the breakdown garage, despite my breakdown company having to take my car home to their garage until the morning as it was night time.
When I submitted my receipt for payment and made a complaint, the emails they sent me were atrocious. No apologies, no kindness, just pure disregard.
Have reported to trading standards and Ombudsman.

Avoid this company
Thia is a copy of my review for Nova Direct the sister company of The Claims manager, as they are effectively two departments of the same company.
They are cheap, but their service is diabolical.
Firstly the claims process takes you to their “sister company” called the claims manager. Which is owned and managed by the same people, despite what they say that it’s separate company.
The website is clunky and hard to use. I had a problem submitting my claim and they have no technical help and your cannot call them with a pet claim. So I missed the 48hour window to submit a claim and was therefore rejected. Eventually I worked out the problem for myself, but it took time.
They also ask you to pay your excess upfront, which is crazy and unusual while they consider your application.
They also said that my claim for£127 was less than the £100 excess, how they work that out I am waiting to hear back.
IF and it’s a big IF I get a more rational responce from my complaint, I reserve the right to change my review. But frankly I think they are not a genuine company.
I’ll be leaving then same review on the Claims Manager and Nova Direct.
Top Class Service
The service was good and my car was recovered home .I AM VERY HAPP AND WILL RECOMMEND !!!
