Item never arrived

Didnt recieve order. Rude in communications, denied refund after waiting over a month. Claimed he dispatched then he said he didnt, then i got an email stating it was dispatched tracked 2nd class but refused to give me tracking information. Notified my bank after he ignored my correspondence and then as soon as bank refunded claimed il hear from his lawyer... avoid at all costs. Read through the reviews the negative comments are genuine customers the positives are fake reviews.

Having ordered from this company twice now I can’t believe the value you get for money and the customer service you receive is amazing considering he’s doing it all by himself he always replied fast and he is always polite and reassuring as to when your order is coming and always tells the truth you couldn’t ask for anything more in a small business.

The owner of this business is rude, disorganised and communicates terribly.

When you order be prepared to wait months for your order.

He will tell you when you contact that there has been an issue with an unborn child as, really who is going to give someone a hard time for that. It’s completely not true, don’t be guilt tripped.

After contacting after waiting 3 whole weeks for the order he informed me he still hadn’t dispatched the order and that the time of 7-14 business days was infact the delivery company’s lead time.

Dont buy from this guy - buy from other similar candy shops instead.

The only reason I left a review which is not typical for me is because he felt the need to brag about his reviews and how great his business was - usually I wouldn’t bother.

UPDATE: once you leave a bad review he tries to dispute it asking for additional information and order numbers. He also threatens to share personal information on his instagram pages! Very weird individual.

Have you replied to the wrong review here? None of what you say is relevant to my review of your business. It’s fortunate for you I can’t share screenshots of our conversations where you begin to abuse and threaten me. I have made my display photo a screenshot of evidence.

Has tried flagging my review for various reasons to get it removed! Unfortunately I won’t have someone threaten me and my personal details and therefore will not leave this situation alone

Dont order from here unless u wanna wait forever said been sent out 2 weeks ago.. still nothing asked for refund took 3 days for him to reply then said his baby was poorly. So u sent it or u didnt?? Then u said it was my wrong address why keep taking money off folks if u cant keep up the orders! If your baby poorly why r u still taking orders but not sending them out.. yeah mate very disappointed little boy! I really hope i get my refund 🤬🤬

Got a £20 mystery box and was pleasanty surprised how much product and variety from around the world was in the box kids love it and would definitely recommend and order again well worth the money ,for a one man band this guy deserves all the praise he gets on reviews

Would highly recommend! Received my husbands mystery box today and it was worth the wait and fab value for money with all the contents we got. Slight delay on delivery but always kept aware and with all that was going on it was understandable. Def worth the wait and will order again. Would 100% recommend aswell

Lies about orders being sent out, customer service was awful, Expect to wait months for your order, mine has been 8 weeks and still nothing asked for a refund as he couldn’t provide me with no tracking information even though he reckons it was sent out over 10 days ago!

You’re an absolute tool mate! You've already sent me my refund. I have screen shots of our whole conversation so I’ll go over to Facebook and post our conversation on there shall I? Asked you for extra?? You’re having a laugh mate, just wanted I payed for. Do you think if I received my order I would be doing all this crap! Just don’t want people being mugged off. You’re a bad person and your lies will come back and bite you on your backside, You lie to your customers and take their money without sending anything. Basically holing everyone’s money in he’s bank and earning interest on our money! Like I said I have proof. Where is yours? 🤷🏼‍♀️

You’ve now deleted your previous post and changed your attitude towards me. Your previous comment stated I tried to scam you and that I’m an untrustworthy person! And now you’ve flipped the script and decided to come off all nice. Over 100 have seen this post so now you’ve just proven your true colours! This company is a scam! There is no gain on my behalf for me to keep replying to me I’m just trying to save people wasting their time and money. I wish someone let me know this is what I would have to deal with before I sent money over to you.

Just received my prime mystery box and amount of product for the price is great. Even though they had a problem and had a backlog of orders their communication was 1st class and shows that they care about their customers. Would definitely use them again.

I am writing this review to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with this company. I placed an order with Candy Plug UK on March 3rd, with the expectation that my parcel of sweets would be sent out promptly. Despite being assured that the order would be dispatched the next day, I have yet to receive any updates or the promised delivery.

In addition to placing my order, I went the extra mile by sending a £5 good will tip as a gesture of goodwill. However, it is disheartening to report that not only have I not received my parcel, but my attempts to seek clarification and assistance have been met with silence. I have reached out multiple times via messages, only to be ignored for nearly a week.

As a customer, I value transparency and communication when it comes to online purchases. The lack of response and the failure to fulfill the promised delivery timeframe have left me with no choice but to escalate this matter. Regrettably, I am now forced to consider contacting my bank for a refund due to the unresolved situation. To note I also paid the £3.95 for the 3-5 day delivery.

I understand that issues may arise, but the lack of accountability and professionalism demonstrated in this instance is unacceptable.

Update. I did receive my parcel on the 20th March.

Ok, I have all the messages I sent to yourself, I do not leave bad reviews, if anybody wants to check my reviews on here feel free. The response he has sent to my review is all lies. I’m quite astonished that you have replied with complete bulls*it. Maybe it’s a generic response? You have not been honest from the start, totally the opposite. Unfortunately it’s only a matter of time until you receive more bad reviews.

I did receive my parcel in the end, but to be honest I totalled up the content and it wasn’t worth the money. I paid £48 in total, including a £5 tip. Absolute joke of a company do not order from here. Ps I did send you an email regarding your unborn baby, so do not lie and say I do not understand. I wish I could attach files to this response and show people. Absolute shocking behaviour from yourself.

I have not deleted anything, I don’t understand why you are lying. I have all of the messages I have sent you saved. Time will tell as I’m sure you will receive other bad reviews, as I’ve noticed you already are!!

Amazing company. Like the owner has told everyone,he has been going through some personal issues which is why it's taking longer ...I didn't mind this at all and was definitely nit disappointed when my box came..I ordered again straight away..

Boyfriend ordered last week of January for my birthday start of February it arrived today 15th March with two of the same sweet inside and some stuff originally ordered nothing the box. Disappointed in time frames and not full order. But what is in it is pretty cool.

I didn’t want to be writing this review, but I’ve tried to comment on the posts on Instagram and I’ve private messaged via DM a WEEK AGO, and it’s been ignored.

We ordered a mystery box for £30. It took about 3 weeks to come. When it came it was a disgrace, if I could add a picture I would. It was 6 small bags (about 10cmx15) of horrid dry-frozen sweets and some little throw in single sweets. They tasted off.

This is a scam of a company.
The fella posts all over Instagram what he would offer for various amounts of money and we did not get £30 worth of sweets we got about £6 if that. It was just an insult.

The fact the fella hasn’t even dm’d us back tells me all I need to know: he knows he’s running a scam business and he’s having people off and doesn’t want to deal with it. I gave him a fair opportunity to respond so here I am.

RESPONSE TO THE REPLY:
I have screenshot evidence of exactly what we ordered, there were no notes, we never asked for anything as it was a suprise bundle. As you can see from my profile I’ve never left a review for anyone before as I always try to get it resolved before leaving a public review.
You’ve not responded to anyone else in this manner and it’s because you’ve been caught out, we’ll go to the bank for our money back, so expect your account to go under review.

what my current situation is I ordered the xl box ,didn't receive a conformation email or any information about my order for that matter and I am convinced that I'm not going to get it as I have waited months .I do have proof of purchase and if I hear nothing in the next 20 days I will be filing a refund I don't understand what happened and I am quite disappointed maybe a lost order etc
