The Dram of Churchtown is an independent and family run whisky and cigar shop with a dedicated whisky drinking lounge, cigar sampling lounge and secret beer garden. We are unique from most other whisky shops as we operate a 'try before you buy policy' on most of our bottles, including our whiskies, rums, gins, meads and other spirits. We offer whisky tasting experiences every Friday Evening and Cigar Club events once a month. No booking is required to use either the whisky or cigar lounges. If you are driving we offer miniature Dram bottles (25ml) to takeaway as well as tea, coffee and soft drinks.

Had a great experience today visiting…
Had a great experience today visiting the Dram whiskey shop. As an inexperienced whisky drinker (more of a JD and coke guy) I found the knowledge of the owner brilliant, a real education was given about the different whiskey’s available. Took the time to go through what I was after and recommended some that might be ideal. Can’t recommend them enough. Also has a lot of other great items in the shop. Thanks you. Will definitely be back again.

A truly wonderful place
A truly wonderful place. Impressive lineup of quality whiskeys to try and buy. You could quite easily spend a satisfying afternoon learning about, and broadening your horizons on brands you may not yet of come across.

Had the pleasure of visiting this shop, excellent little gem of a shop! Beautiful decor, very friendly & knowledgeable owners and lots more than just whiskey…even found something for the dog! Definitely recommend a visit. Just booked for Father’s Day whiskey tasting 😊

Whiskeytastic!!
We visited this lovely shop over the weekend! What a great place with lots of different gifts and whiskies to choose from. Staff were so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

fabulous addition to historic…
What a fabulous addition to historic Churchtown. The owners clearly know about whisky! The shop stocks whiskies from around the world and a vast array of whisky-related giftware too. Very welcoming atmosphere, beautifully stocked. I understand they do whisky tasting sessions too! I loved it!

Little gem of a place love it!
Fantastic place to visit this little gem has everything for the whiskey lovers from bottles of whiskey to jams to even little treats for your dogs non alcoholic of course!
Darren was great very informative on his products and was very helpful, this place really is amazing with a very relaxing atmosphere and a great place to try before you buy! There is no pressure on selling or trying just a relaxing place to be. Its a definite must visit place you really wont be disappointed.
We will be back soon for Round 2 😊

Impressive I would recommend.
I would highly recommend.
A great selection of Whisky with a variety of prices, plus lovely whisky related merchandise. The glassware is lovely.
Great tasting area to try your dram.
The staff are so knowledgable and friendly.
This shop is in the heart of the beautiful village of Churchtown.

A gift shop that caters for all.
A gift shop that caters for all, the whiskey wall is a sight to behold, Darren is a font of knowledge, and the tasting corner is comfortable and chic. The fact you can buy by the dram to taste the wonderful array of whiskey prior to buying is fantastic. Will be a regular visitor at this lovely little shop.

The shop is a pleasure to visit. It's decor and layout are perfect. Darren is very knowledgeable about whisky and his enthusiasm is infectious.
There is something for all budgets whether you enjoy a dram or not. Check out the items made from whisky barrels.

An excellent addition to Churchtown village.
What a fabulous experience visiting ‘The Dram Gift Shop’ today . The welcome couldn’t have been more friendly from the owners Darren and Rebecca and their son Elliot (who helped stay with my dogs whilst I looked around). So much knowledge from the owners it was wonderful walking away also learning so much. Spoilt for choice! About to sit and relax with my purchase ( beautifully presented ) . Will look forward to having the Whiskey infused Raspberry Jam on my toast tomorrow at breakfast. Already looking forward to my next visit and get that loyalty card stamped !

Fantastic Relaxing Artisan Space…
What a fantastic relaxing artisan space where you can pick up a bottle and some unique Whiskey merchandise or you can just pop in and chill out, putting the World to rights, talking whiskey in the tasting corner. We did both.....
I popped into The Dram Whisky gift Shop with a mate of mine on Saturday. We had such an interesting and fun hour tasting and learning about the numerous varieties of Whisky's on offer from all over the world. Darren was great, super chilled and very informative. They have a lovely chilled out tasting corner with chairs and couch.
We loved it and we will be back, probably next weekend for Round 2, purely for educational purposes ... Of course!!!
