I’m really enjoying the Thai Language Challenge! Kru Fah is engaging, fun, kind, and thoughtful in the way she teaches.

What I especially appreciate is how quickly and thoughtfully she responds to my questions and reviews my answers via WhatsApp. It makes the learning experience feel very personal and supportive.

Even though I’m still a bit shy about speaking Thai and haven’t fully used what I’ve learned in real-life conversations yet, I truly enjoy the class and feel encouraged by her teaching style. If you’re looking for a supportive and positive way to study Thai, I highly recommend it.

Such a wonderful course. Kruu Fah is passionate, amusing, relatable, and makes the process of learning the thai language/culture uncomplicated. Don't pass by this opportunity. Thai Language Challenge is well worth the investment.

As a retired university professor, I have thoroughly enjoyed Kru Fah’s teaching style. It is refreshing, engaging, and highly effective. In my opinion, the course design rivals any online university program. The filming quality makes you feel as if you are in the room, and the personalized 1:1 teacher support further reinforces that immersive experience.

18 months living in thailand and tried 4 - 5 other ways to learn but very disappointed after studying hard out for many hours.
I think TLC works so well because it was jointly created by a young passionate fun highly supportive expert teacher thai woman and a couple of hard case Canadian guys who just love encouraging people to come to thailand and be able to have a conversation with the locals because they know how much better a foreigners experience of thailand will be.
Great online lessons that you can replay over and over.
Great workbook that summarizes the lesson and contains the homework.
Great fun games via digital app that are a clever fun easy way to practice and self test your pronunciation, tones, and the translation of the thai words and phrases. Apps can be speeded up as you get more confident which exposes the words you need more practice on.
Homework is sent via social media apps - either pic of your written answers or audio message of your pronunciation. Marked carefully by teacher with really helpful feedback.
Can ask teacher any questions you have via app - either written message or audio.
In 18 days I have made more progress than in 18 months of other teaching.

I am a few weeks in to this course with Kru Fah and her 4 students in situ in Thailand. I am enjoying the format and the course very much. I think it's a great way of learning - especially when one is outside of Thailand. Kru Fah is a great teacher - very personable and enjoyable to watch her teach. I feel a part of the class - even though I'm not physically there... though I wish I was :)

Great course, something unique in Thailand. When I order something online im always a bit sceptical, will it be worth my money, and will there be a teacher to help. So far I got so much more then expected, so im really thankful for Kruu Fah and the people behind the course for settling this up.

This is a very good course. I have taken 3 other courses but don't remember anything. Her concept is much better. And you can learn at your own pace...

Kru Fah is an excellent teacher! She made the classes fun and exciting, there were plenty of lessons where I lost track of time because I was having fun. Also it's engaging so I was really progressing fast on my learning and retention. I have taken a few other classes and this is by far the best I have tried. For me it was definitely money well spent a d a great value for the cost. Don't hesitate to sign up for this learning challenge, you will not be disappointed 😁

I want to give a big thanks to Kru Fah and all others involved in providing this wonderful experience while I’m learning to speak Thai. It’s been challenging but I’ve learned sooooo much already. I appreciate Kru Fah’s humor and teaching style in our videos, and appreciate Chis, Adam, Bet and Douglas for asking the same questions (and sometimes struggling with similar concepts) I’d also ask if I was in the room, making me feel like I’m actually part of their classroom experience.
You’re all much appreciated from this Washington state resident in the USA.

Fun and intuitive

So far I have completed 12 lessons and it is exceeding my expectations. Kruu Fah teacher is excellent and thorough. However what is even better are the Quizlets (on line questions about each lesson). I have a link on the Home Screen of my phone and if I have a few mins to spare, I do some flashcards. Also the online support is terrific. Homework and general questions are replied to with 12 hours.
My only wish, and this may not be technically possible, is that there was a 10 second rewind button. That would save me a lot of fumbling. I initally committee dto 20 lessons and have now signed up for the whole 100 lessons.

Kru Fah's teaching enthusiasm is what keeps me pushing to study. I'm almost 1/2 way through the 100 day challenge. She consistently answers my questions via Whatsapp and the voice-message homework is great to help with pronunciation - which can be challenging.

Kru Fah is an excellent Thai teacher. This course is well structured, engaging, and easy to manage at your own pace.

I love the way the class is taught. You learn everything at your own pace. So you can learn fast or slow.

And they respond quickly to any questions you may have. And they work hard to make sure you understand what you are saying not just teaching you common sayings. So you will be able to understand what people are saying to you and you will be able to respond to accordingly

When Kruu Fah opened new spots for her 100 Thai Challenge, I jumped in right away, and I’m so glad I did. The lessons and the materials are well-organized, the 1-to-1 support is amazing, and the group feels like a real classroom (and a fun one too!). It’s definitely a challenge, and I have to put in work every day, but I know I will build a strong base before moving to Thailand :)

Although the pace can be challenging, Kruu Fah makes learning a difficult language addictive. She is truly an extraordinary teacher. If you put in the time this is, by far, the best online course available. Trust me- I have tried several.

I recommend Kruu Fah if you want to learn Thai, online videos are great idea. You can play them whenever you want.

I can’t recommend enough of Kru Fah’s method for learning Thai. Kru Fah is not only the best Thai language teacher out there but I believe she is the best *language* teacher.

In this course, Kru Fah breaks down the construct of the Thai language and clearly explains the how and why the grammar is as it is in Thai, in a fun, motivating and positive environment. This gives us the foundation upon which to build upon and learn additional vocabulary elsewhere as we learn the language.

Kru Fah’s positive energy is contagious and I finish each class not only feeling that I am closer to speaking Thai but also feeling in a more positive mood overall.

I am currently about halfway through the 100 day challenge. Previous to this course I had only done 10 lessons of the Pimsleur Thai CD course. I had only been to Thailand once in my life for about a week and have no exposure to the Thai language in my daily life. I recently just went on another trip to Thailand for a week and can’t believe how much I have learned already halfway through the course. Not only that but the basics of the language grammar I have learned from this far gave me the confidence to start a conversation with anyone and I was able to have several conversations from the moment I arrived. It made for a much richer experience during my stay in Thailand to be able to communicate with the locals.

Having access to the course materials and lectures once the course is over is another huge benefit. During my trip I paused taking new lessons so that instead i could go back and review previous lessons to solidify what i had already learnt so that i could use it in my daily interactions and doing that helped me a lot. As i resumed the lessons i noticed some of the online students were asking questions that had already been taught on previous lessons and i knew the answers from having paused the course and going back to reviewing the material I had forgotten.

On that note I have to mention about the course materials. They are first class and I can tell a lot of work went in to make them. I can also tell from the online lessons that Kru Fah works very hard and gives 110% in every lesson to make sure everyone understands the topic and that goes a long way.

In my opinion, if you are serious about learning Thai you won’t find a better Thai course than this one. The one time course fee is well worth it for the value you will get from the course. I hope this review helps you in your Thai language journey.

I recently completed the Thai Language Challenge and highly recommend it. My situation may be unique in that I am likely older than most students and have already had a decades long relationship with Thailand but despite my love of Thailand and of the Thai people I’ve never had any success in learning the language until I enrolled in the Challenge. While I still have plenty to accomplish I found that after taking the course my command of Thai has exceeded all of my expectations. Although the Challenge requires a good deal of effort the charismatic instructor, Kru Fah, teaches with such energy and enthusiasm that what could easily be drudgery is simply a lot of fun. The Thai Language Challenge is time well spent.
