Terra.do - Climate Change: Learning for Action Anmeldelser

The Terra.do LFA program gave me a holistic overview of climate change, but it wasn't just an information dump - the course offered me actionable steps that I could immediately begin to apply to my local context.

The community and instructors are incredible and I love that I can always access the course material.

The class material exceeded expectation in quality and was well organized into digestible chunks. The guest speakers were high quality and very accessible. The class organizers did a good job of making the synchronous classes productive and social. The networking opportunities, mentorship, and peer connections are high value.

The course exceeded my expectations!
Amazing instructors, meetings and community.
It really encouraged me to follow my transition to work on climate

Excellent and intensive boot camp on all things climate change/action. In addition to quality course materials and resources updated to reflect the latest information, Terra.do provides access to an invaluable network of experts and alumni to help you find your calling and career in the climate and sustainability space. I highly recommend the course for those who want to kickstart their climate journey.

The Learning for Action course was awesome. It gave a comprehensive overview of a range of aspects relating to climate change that due to the structure of the course allowed you to dive as deeply into a subject as you wanted or were able to. With a range of online and async classes a huge amount was covered over the 12 weeks and lifetime access means that you can keep going back to the classes where you want to refresh your knowledge or get a more comprehensive view on things than time allowed (the classes have extensive optional links for you to follow).

Terra.do provided a professional course on climate change, its causes, the debates on all sides, the myths, the science, the various solutions that have been tried, pros and cons of each, solutions that are emerging, and the numerous information sources, models and databases that are informing action. The sessions were broad, deep, balanced, and engaging. The course included a lot of their own content as well as many links out to third party sources, media, industry and academia. There were guest expert speakers, collaboration and knowledge shares between participants. Their aim is to build community based on collaboration and they seem to be doing a pretty good job.

Must to learn Climate in greater depth. Terra = Course + Community + Climate

where to start...
This course surpassed my expectations on all count!
the content is very thorough and fascinating, the structure and classes are top quality and the people as instructors or who are doing the course too are amazing! sharing a topic that you feel so passionate about with people who feel the same way is a gift in itself! if you hesitate, don't, listen to your heart and go!

Great education program to demystify climate change, to learn more about the solutions available or looked into, and also to become part of a community of people who made the switch towards climate action.

This was a fantastic experience and gave me a broad perspective on climate related issues. The number of eye-opening learnings I had is too numerous to count. The course instructor, guest speakers, labs, deep dives and fellow learners make the journey meaningful. I am looking forward to staying in touch with my community as I progress along my own path.

Amazing experience. 12 intense weeks but we really learned a lot. Really enjoyed the format of the classes, all the guess speakers and the breakout rooms. It really gives you a sense of community. The team is also super open, easy to reach. So grateful for the experience.

The Terra.do LFA fellowship was such a valuable experience. Not only is the material educational and mostly manageable while also having a full-time job, the community is amazing. Between the instructors and other fellows, this program introduces you to so many wonderful people with great energy.

The Terra.do LFA course provided me with a profoundly transformative experience that deepened my knowledge of and connections within the climate field, which was exactly what I was looking for. The course materials exceeded my expectations and truly lived up to their promises. The guest talks, community, labs, assignments, and career resources were all exceptional. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to transition their career towards climate work or discover ways to make a meaningful impact. It has been the most valuable investment I've made in both my professional and personal life. Upon graduation, I feel inspired and committed to continuing my journey in climate action.

Particularly liked the structuring of the course, across learning - via static content, live deep-dives and weekly reflections, to guest lectures each week, to dedicated conversations on topics such as mental health for climate. Also, networking via the mentorship programme and access to job board (though the opportunities may not be too many for folks in South Asia). All in all, a very comprehensive experience, covering most aspects of climate, thereby being a great way to build a vocabulary and find an entry into climate careers

Interactive sessions, the efforts taken by the Company to connect the Trainees and the support for future growth in career, Climate change mitigation efforts taken by the Company

Terrific experience that balances inspiration with science. Instructors have god-level energy and dedication.

A great learning experience not just in terms of the breadth of topics covered but also in term of HOW it was put together. Excellent community, excellent course leaders, and a very thoughtfully curated and managed, down to earth program.

I had a great experience. So much thoughtfulness and care go into Terra.do's flagship course, Climate Change: Learning for Action. I love how my personal effort to find my place in the climate movement is now part of Terra.do's effort to get 100 Million people into climate jobs. I used to spend a lot of time on my own learning about the climate crisis and climate solutions. That can be isolating. It's more engaging and supportive to learn in community. We had engaging guest lecturers who always made time for questions; asyncronous lessons in the well-designed Terra.do app; smaller live, well-facilitated lab group meetings to discuss what we were learning and to build relationships in our cohort; and independent and group assignments. All of it was meaningful and useful.

This is the cohort to start your climate journey. Awesome teachers, amazing community, packed full of useful, actionable info. I was so impressed by Terra LFA and heartily recommend it to anyone.
