Inadequate Consultancy for the UK Global Talent Visa
**Title: My Experience with Technomads.io – Inadequate Consultancy for the UK Global Talent Visa**
I am writing this review to share my experience with Technomads.io's consultancy service for the UK Global Talent Visa.
Before working with them, I expected a specialist consultancy that would critically evaluate my profile, identify weaknesses, explain the endorsement criteria in detail, and develop a strategy tailored to my background.
Unfortunately, this was not my experience.
Throughout the process, I followed every instruction provided by their consultants. Every document they requested was prepared, every revision they suggested was completed, and every recommendation was implemented without exception.
However, I now believe the consultancy service lacked the level of professional assessment that such a complex visa application requires.
At no stage was I given a comprehensive evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of my profile. There was no detailed gap analysis against the endorsement criteria, no meaningful discussion about areas that might lead to refusal, and no alternative strategy proposed to strengthen my application before submission.
Instead, the process felt largely focused on document preparation rather than expert consultancy. Preparing documents is only one part of a Global Talent application. The real value of a consultancy should be its ability to critically assess an applicant's profile, identify risks, challenge assumptions, and advise whether an application is genuinely ready.
Receiving a refusal does not automatically mean a consultancy has failed, and I fully understand that no adviser can guarantee approval. However, I do expect a specialist consultancy to identify potential weaknesses before submission and to provide realistic advice when an application may not yet be sufficiently competitive.
Looking back, I do not believe I received that level of professional guidance.
For anyone considering this service, my recommendation is to obtain independent opinions from multiple Global Talent specialists before submitting your application. Do not rely solely on a single consultancy's assessment, particularly for a visa category where strategic positioning and evidence quality are often as important as the documents themselves.
