Tattoodo Anmeldelser

I just wanted to say thank you. I was searching everywhere for pictures of the perfect tree for myself and 5 friends. It's hard enough deciding on a design for yourself- 6 people seemed impossible to please. This site gave us the opportunity to have several ideas and then tweak them. Absolutely wonderful. We are thrilled with the final product. Thanks,
Heidi

If you're looking to get an original tattoo but are stuck on ideas then this is the place for you. Come up with a rough idea of what you want and you will have multiple artists brainstorming with you to create an original piece that will hone their artistic skills and also give you the design you've always wanted but haven't been able to come up with on your own. It's a win win for everybody involved. From the minute I started It has been a great experience. I was new to this siteand Jens shot me an email and offered to help spread the idea and invite some artists in to compete. That really helped me out. I recommend this to anybody looking for some good artistic talent to complete their tattoo design. I am impressed with the work and professionalism this whole experience had to offer. Thanks a lot to my artist (Iris) and Thanks to Jens for helping me out. Y'all are great, have a good one!

Just Excellent!

I've followed the tattoodo concept since it started and always thought it a good idea but felt skeptical of the cost involved. I eventually figured I would try it out on the bronze package for a simple tattoo to represent sisters, three of us want the same tattoo. We asked for something simple, not generic, colourful and feminine. After an initial quiet response with only one person trying their best (about 7 design edits) in the end we had 30+ designs from 8 different artists, including one I had invited to the contest.
By the end we had five favourite designs to choose from and be very picky with. I actually felt guilty for the hard work that was put in from the artists I didn't choose! By the end of it three sisters agreed so it must have been good!x
Well worth the cost and would definitely consider the higher package for a larger/more detailed piece!

I got a contest done, invited loads of tattoo artists, without really thinking I'd get the result wanted. The tattoo I wanted was, in my opinion, a bit complicated to explain, I had this idea for ages ( a sea creature, maybe a mantha ray, done with clear celtic/irish design, with the names of my children on it, around it or wherever and my husband's and I's initials ( two A ) all into one ). I was afraid to take an appoitment with a tattoo artist and commit myself and the artist to this design to realise that we didnt have the same view, or style after a few months of work, and dreading having to tell him or her that it was'nt what I was looking for, after the whole work involved ( it happened to me once, working to and fro with someon only to realise she wasn't the right artist for what I wanted!!! Painful experience for both! Believe me!) So when I heard about this website, I thought it would be perfect, having loads of differents artists and as many differents styles to pick from, I was bound to get what I wanted! The only downside is that I got three really really good ones and it was really diffult to chose from these three! I would recommand this website to everyone and anyone, as I think anybody can find what they are looking for and meet tons of differents artists from all over the world! Thank you Tattoodo!

The site was very easy to use and put me in touch with some very talented and amazing artists. I ended up getting exactly what I was looking for. The hardest thing was choosing a winner!!

I would definitely recommend Tattoodo to anyone looking for individual bespoke designs.

I had an excellent experience, the artist are amazing and very very very helpful. I'm so happy with the design and i would DEFINITELY come back and recommend to anyone that loves tattoo like i do!!!!!

When you look at all the contests on Tattoodo you see contests with dozens of designs with multiple artists competing for people's prize money. Well yeah, until you give them something worthwhile to design.

You expect "artists" to be all about making waves in society, after all art is supposed to speak to the soul and cause trouble where trouble is needed. My idea for an anti-religion tattoo, which would have involved an image of the prophet Muhammad, I thought would attract the best of the trouble makers. You know, since so many people have fought over the years to allow artists their freedom of expression, no matter what the subject. These are tattoo artists after all, who are infamous for putting all sorts of obscene images on people's bodies. They're supposed to be the taboo breakers.

Well I put $300 down and over the course of 11 days I recieved not one single design. Meanwhile "Elephant" and "Hybrid Lion and Bull" contests receive almost 50 different designs each. So I up the ante and put another $60 down for my prize money for the last three days. I receive a design from one person with only 48 hours to go. Some other jackass submitted some crappy stock design that had nothing to do with my description of a tattoo. So I work with that one decent artist, and morph mine and her ideas over the next 48 hours. 13 draughts later and I had a pretty decent tattoo design, but that was it. My $360 got me one worthwhile artist's vision, and not the plethora of competing visions that I was supposed to be choosing from so I could really be sure I loved my final product. I was well within my rights to avail of their money back guarantee, but I felt that one artist deserved something for all her effort. ONE artist. That's all I got from this experience.

This can only lead me to believe that these thousands of "artists" on this site are just sell outs, and not actual artists that will never create something of substance. They'll continue to drift through life drawing their skulls, pin-up ladies, and tramp stamps, and never be anything like the trailblazers that came before them. Pathetic.

looked at over 100 new designs and loved 99% of them give it a whirl it couldn't hurt.

Absolutely awesome experience. Such a wicked way to find a tattoo design. All the artists that participated were amazing and I'm stoked that I was able to find a new tattoo this way

The Tattoodo crew are Legends! Super friendly and helpful answered any and all questions.

Gonna do the whole thing again and I recommend it to everyone who wants a tattoo!!!

Tattoodo is a great idea. I was a littel worried at first as I am picky about what I wanted but I am so glad I used this site. You get designs from tattoo artists all over the world. Designs were a little slow in coming in but I am so impressed with the level of talent. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great tattoo.

I have been thinking of getting a Tattoo for a long time but nervous about the design. This is is everything it advertises and the artist genuinely care about their designs. If you have any question DO IT!

This is the second time I've used their services and I have not been disappointed, definitely coming back. I'll be telling everyone about tattoodo.com

I submitted a design of an existing tattoo that I wanted recreated using the Silver Package. The artist kristoval tattoo changed my design 10+ times and made it better than I could ever imagine. He even gave me personal feedback and how to care for a new tattoo, which isn't even in their scope.

Would definitely use again.

This experience has been awesome! I've never done anything like this before & I had some reservations...but then once I started seeing the design entries...I was in awe!
Thanks Again!!!

One of the best ideas ever! The site is simple and beautiful! Love it!

Throughout the whole process of having a tattoo designed with Tattoodo was absolutely fantastic; they extended my contest when i haven't had that many submissions, and when i wanted to pick the winning artist because i haven't received feedback from this particular artist they actually offered me a discount.
whenever i emailed with questions or requests i got responses fairly swiftly.

my only quibble with this site is that if an artist does not respond regarding feedback or modifications on a design, there is not much that Tattoodo can actually do...

all in all a positive and successful experience - would use again.

Since I'm new to the tattoo world I was a bit afraid to try, and since I'm a bit picky too I thought I would just pay for something that wouldn't meet my expectations. I couldn't be more wrong! The community is totally awesome! I will definitely recommend Tattoodo and I'll definitely get more from them again in the future!

This pioneer service for getting a tattoo is excellent especially for tattoo newbies like myself. I was skeptical at first but all my doubts and questions were cleared through the process. They were kind enough to address all my concerns and questions and even helped me look for an adequate tattoo shop after I got my masterpiece of a design. Only complaint is that communication felt a little slow but overall I loved it.

I loved the experience ! I love the result! I am recommending to all my friends.
