I've been studying for the GMAT on and off for 5 years to try to score what Stanford expects in its applicants which was a 700 on the old GMAT and a 645 on the GMAT focus. I originally used the GMAT club, official GMAT prep, Target Test Prep, and Magoosh to study. My weakness was primarily quant, so over the years, I stuck with Target Test Prep, which had the best quant according to reviews. I was scoring in the 40th percentile on the GMAT because I could not remember combinations, permutations, probabilities, and more to save my life. I'm 14 years out of college, and it was tough to re-learn these concepts. For the past three months, I worked with Jeff from Target Test Prep for quant private tutoring, and he recommended that I look into taking the Executive Assessment since the quant is slightly easier. With his tips and tricks to shorten the time I spent solving a problem and his method of educated guesses, I was able to improve my quant to the 80th percentile and scored a 645 on the GMAT Focus. I ended up scoring a 166 on the Executive Assessment. I don't think I would have been as confident or done as well to get over my scoring wall without tutoring.

I highly recommend TTP for GMAT prep! In just 2 months of focused study I went from not knowing anything about the GMAT to scoring a 695 on my official test. When I first took a practice test and saw 555, it hurt. I felt like I was struggling with everything. Quant looked impossible, Verbal was slippery, and Data Insights just confused me. I tried random YouTube videos and free tips, but I only felt more stuck.

If you are stuck where I was, my advice is simple. Find a system and stick with it. For me, that system was TTP.

Scored 100 percentile using the on-demand program. They dumb everything down and really help big you up so anyone can do it. If I can do it, anyone can.

I loved TTP because of how effective it is. The questions on their chapter tests are very similar to the actual GMAT. Also, TTP's support is unmatched - they answer any questions within hours.

I used TTP and I improved my quant by 5 points, from 162 to 167. The math was so thorough, I didn't have a single doubt that I was getting to learn everything that I needed.

I loved how structured the quant section was, especially, compared to other tools. I really prefer having the textbook style structure, with the option of supplementing with videos when needed.

For the verbal section, I mostly used GregMat, but I've heard people use TTP for verbal as well. Personally, nothing beats using the OG prep materials.

I can say with very high confidence that TTP was the biggest factor in me getting the high percentile score that I did. It broke down the different sections into several topics, so I could focus on the sections I knew I struggled with and learn the different question types I'd encounter. My personal struggle was entirely with the quant section before getting the software, and it is designed with people like me in mind. Most of the lessons are quant focused, though there are a very good number of Data Insights and Verbal sections as well. I personally found that FOIL, Factors, and Combinometrics came up the most for me on my practice and real exams, so getting a firm grip on those will do a lot of heavy lifting.

Target Test Prep takes the guesswork out of GMAT prep. The study plan is chronologically structured, guiding you step by step while ensuring no topic is skipped or overemphasized. I especially appreciated how Data Insights comes later, once Verbal and Quant foundations are strong. The daily assignments are well calibrated, and the progress bar kept me motivated. Add in the endless quizzes that reinforce learning, and you get a program that is complete, flexible, and truly effective.

TTP is an incredibly thorough prep course out. The program covers every topic you could possibly see on test day, and it did so in a way that really left me feeling confident and ready.

I had a very poor customer service experience when trying to switch my membership from a new account to my old account.

When I signed up, I couldn’t see my past progress because I didn’t have an active paid membership, so I re-registered using what I thought was my primary email. Once I realized the mistake, I reached out to customer service to have the membership moved to my original account.

I first contacted them around 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 10, 2025. The next response I received was at 5:00 AM on Monday, August 11, telling me I would need to make a new account. I sent four follow-up messages within the next 12 hours. The agent would send a brief reply and then disappear for about three hours each time.

The issue was only resolved when I asked for a refund. Overall, the lack of responsiveness and helpfulness made for a frustrating experience, and I would not recommend this service unless their customer service team significantly improves.

This course was huge for me in learning math. I hadn't studied any math for many years and I was able to start with a 162Q thanks to TTP! A few weeks later after hitting quant hard, I ended up with a 167Q! For someone in marketing this was incredible!
