The ABP 10k in Cleethorpes has become a favourite race for me to run in. The route is flat and fast if you want a PB. All runners so happy and chatty.
Around each corner of the run are supporters of all ages waving and cheering you on…..the smell of freshly cooked bacon as you go through the caravans…. the bands playing on route giving you an extra boost.
The final couple of miles is beautiful with the beach on one side and the endless sand into the distance. But the sound of the spectators shouting and cheering you in on the final stretch is such a wonderful sight. The amazing photographers snapping away from the start to the finish and then to have all the photographs free and not charge stupid amounts.
I must admit it was the donut and then straight off for some Proper fish and chips! The long drive back to Hampshire again after such a short weekend was spent talking about the race!
Booked again within hours for next year!

Great route. Great organisation before and on the day. Superb volunteers along the way so we always knew where to go and their support was amazing. (966)

From setting up eary hrs of mornin to workin late at nights to get all items set up to posting numbers to organissing medals and tee shirts pulling people together the bands , emergency services ,volenteres and obviosly the runners ,thankyou tape to tape

Just found the coarse a little bit narrow for the amount of runners and a few to many bends
Lovely view of the coastline

Very well organised. Plenty of toilets. Pre race information was perfect. Loads of stewards. And a fantastic medal (and donut)!!

I ran with my 16 year old son and we both really enjoyed the day (and got personal best times aswell!)

Sunday i took part in the Humber coastal 10k in Cleethorpes.
The whole event was amazing, and tape2tape pull out all the stops.
They have some fabulous races.
The medals and t-shirts are always fantastic.
Race number 15

Excellently organised race, as usual, by Neil, Nicola and the team. Very friendly marshalls, plenty of Pre-Race toilets, clear instructions in the race guide and good atmosphere. I have done the race several times and the only thing missing nowadays is the token for an ice cream at the end, which was really unique, supported local businesses and was a great idea with it being a seaside race; the doughnut, though nice, just isn't the same. Cleethorpes 10k 2025 was my first 10k race and I was extremely nervous... but I didn't need to be at all as the atmosphere was amazing as soon as we got there. There where plenty of staff on hand to help if needed. Will definitely be back to do another tape to tape 10k. Thank you, race number 561.

These events are always so well organised. Information is given to runners in a timely way and with lots of detail. The atmosphere is always supportive and amazing!
I’ve ran both the Humber Coastal ahalf and the Grimsby 10km with Tape to Tape and can’t fault them at all.
Medals are excellent quality, as are the finisher’s shirts. Definitely worth running for!

Was very well organized and course was very good

This was my 3rd time for the Cleethorpes (as I call it) September run. 2023 10K. 2024 & 2025 half marathon. Coming back tells you it is a great event. From signing up the organisers keep you well informed by email, answering questions before have thought of them! This even includes telling you where to find loos on the way to the start line. On the day the start line organisation is first class. Lots of enthusiastic volunteers to help you find your way. Once running, the fixed location and bike marshals are very helpful. A biker asked if I was OK when walking early on - I was waiting for my run buddy to catch up! Towards the end another biker offered chocolate! The enthusiasm at the water stations has to be mentioned - they do a great job. The course is mostly tarmace and on closed roads. There is only one off road section that can be difficult, but just slow a little. Will I be there in 2026? Provided my legs still work (I am an OAP) definitely! Runner 2500.

I've taken part in Tape2tape events over the last few years, and they never disappoint! From the day you sign up, all the way up to race day, everything is managed perfectly. The communication is excellent, the price is very good, the t-shirts and medals are amazing, and the race day never disappoints.
If you're on the fence about signing up, please just do it. You won't regret it 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Took part in the ABP Humber Coastal 10k run on Sunday. Great event, very well organised, lots of pre race communication. Plenty of Marshalls giving lots of support and encouragement throughout the race. Great atmosphere at the finish line. Definitely be back next year. Race number 688

Just taken part in the ABP Coastal Half Marathon for the first time ... great experience. The whole thing was really well organised, excellent communication from the team i nthe run up to the event, timely issuing of race numbers.

And the race t-shirt was a very stylish piece of kit too!

Done quite a few races with tape2tape, always been really well organised from information prior to the event to on the day marshals. Courses are always well signposted and plenty of direction along the course.
T-shirts and medals are always really well designed.

I ran my HM with these guys on ABP Humber coastal, the race had fantasic scenery and was really well organised every from regular updates leading up to the race right through to finish when I got my free donut. Would highly recommend this organisation for any races you might be interested in running. I know I will definitely be running with these guys again. 1602

Race was well organised with clear markings and loads of support along the way. Fabulous medals and treats at the finish. Very considerate of impact on the environment.
