Its the best thing that has happened to my A-levels. I have nothing but praise! I sit my exams soon and I can confidently say that if it wasn't for TT that I would not be getting the grades I need. It has improved my grades massively and I am so grateful for the support I have received from EVERYONE. I subscribed to biology and chemistry - both did not disappoint. Content is straight to the point and all relevant to my exam board. Not to mention the detail that has gone into the course in general is amazing - the discord and live classes being my favourite. My only wish is that I should have started sooner. Thank you so much!

AMAZING! The TT team really want the best for you and so worth the money. 100% better than a tutor because you get full support, videos, live class (2hr per week). You get so much more for your money than you do a tutor. I would recommend to ANYONE doing A-levels. Rich, Rich and Ronnie are so hardworking to give the best quality content and also to help you outside of the classroom with advice on revision and how to revise. If you are doing A-levels TT is a necessity and honestly I wouldn't know what I would do without it. (I wish I had it earlier in the course)! :)

My TT experience has been so insightful in so many ways - it's shown me how studying can be interesting because the way the TT team explain it make sure you fully understand the topic instead of just accepting if something is something or memorising topics just because you thought you had to. Over the time i've had it there's been way more new facilities which TT members use - like a discord for study with me's to motivate you to stop procrastinating! It's got colourful short tutorials for everything you need to know minus anything extra - and colours for key terms, headings and examples. Like I remember my teacher saying to me at the beginning of the year like - if you memorise the textbook the best grade you can get is a C BECAUSE SO MUCH OF IT IS SO IRRELEVANT! I am in year 13 now and ive done all biology and chemistry without the textbook and just my tt notes becuase why would i waste my time when i have something so much better?
For Maths, Ronnie, is probably the best maths teacher who I've been ever taught by - It's because she really breaks things down to help you understand concepts in maths so much better, and there are some of her hidden techniques she goes into in the course that will save you SO MUCH TIME - for eg binomial expansion with her method is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! For maths exam practice is the most crucial as it's essentially a skill based topic and, so far Ronnie has helped me to go from an F in my first ever exam - to a C now!
For Biology, Rich, goes through and really analyses the questions in so much depth than you realise - which is essential in biology exams - especially OCR markschemes as they're so critical with what you have to say! In content guide tutorials - because biology is so thick with content Rich has a few, unique ways of remembering things - like one of them ill never forget is pyrimidines - Tutankhamun and Cleopatra so C and T HOW HELPFUL IS THAT THOUGH! I don't know about anyone else, but i have really bad memory so by learning these unique ways helps me to never forget that little bits of content. And don't forget carbs - ill say no more just try the free trial and find out TRUST ME ITS GREAT AND CHANGES THE GAME
Last but certaintly not least is Chemistry, Rich W, Rich has a way of being great at explaining things so well because in chemistry, for me anyway, its not the questions that are especially hard - although you do get the odd tricky 6 marker calc - but the content is really heavy and can be confusing - but Rich has just a way of making it so simple to get. Similiary to Rich T he has unique ways like Group 2 solubility hydroxide higher carbonates cant sulfates smaller - these small things i think make all the difference. No wonder im taking chemistry as my degree choice :D
I know you guys think its expensive but ive never like actually paid for something so worth it - 24/7 tuition basically, when you have a question pop it in the course and youll get a clear and concise answer - trust me when you look in the course youll see how many ive asked (sorry tt team) but theyre always there to help! There's quizzes after each small tutorial and exam questions assigned for each topic - exam packs and question type packs the list goes on! So don't waste your money on a tutor that comes round for 2 hours a week and charges 20/10 pound an hour when your literally saving money by getting TT now!

The amount of resources they have available is amazing. You can tell the teachers are so passionate about their subject and that they want to help as many as people as possible. They will always be there to answer any kind of question and will take the time to respond to you individually about very specific questions you might have.

It is clear they are knowledgeable about how each exam board works and what they expect in the exam. The teaching itself is of such a high quality and they focus on practical ways to help you achieve the best marks and make the most improvements. Their teaching isn't about getting full marks in everything because that can be daunting, instead they give helpful tips and tricks to achieving the most marks in the easiest ways possible. For people like me who are easily overwhelmed with the amount of work they have to do, Tailored Tutors breaks it down and makes things much more manageable.

Overall great service, would highly recommend.

My revision for GCSE biology and chemistry was to make flashcards on anything that could possibly come up, which worked well, but was REALLY time consuming and not good for A level. Tailored Tutors has helped me make my revision more focused and way less stressful. Before I got it, I never knew where to start in my revision, so I didn't get into the habit of revising regularly. The TT revision method is really good for this. TT has been especially useful because my teachers never really go through exam questions and move really fast, so I don't even have time to take notes. The TT template notes are helpful and make my notes concise, which gives me more time to spend doing exam questions. Also, for maths at school we just do questions from the textbook, so having actual past paper questions with an explanation if I get stuck is very useful.
All the questions I've asked have been answered quickly and clearly.

The worry I had before getting TT was that it is quite expensive because I'm having to pay for it with a part-time job. I wanted to be sure that it was worth the money before getting it, so the week-long free trial and having first month half price helped me make my decision. I believe that it will definitely be worth the investment.

It is a great platform, and though it is costly, it is definitely worth it. It has specific videos for each topic as well as walkthrough videos for many past paper questions, just as you would do with a teacher face to face.
Personally, I think the biology section is the most helpful.

The support available is brilliant, with the tutors being able to answer any question you have at any time! I love how the content videos and questions are all integrated into the same place which makes study sessions flow more smoothly and it is much more enjoyable. Thank you TT!

I was looking for help with chemistry as I was at a grade B (borderline C). I wasted my money on 2 online private tutors who would literally read off the AQA book for 1 hour 😭 so I picked up the TT 7 day free trial.

It was a lifesaver, I wish my teachers at school taught the way that Richard (thank you soo much to him) did like for example, I left school at the end of the day confused over electrochemistry. Youtube videos were nice but for a slower learner like me they're not(they don't really target visual learners like me). So those electrochemistry tutorials were broken down really nicely, it never felt rushed and I was able to learn the rest ahead of the class.

If you have ANY questions about the topic or you need help with exam questions, it's easy to do and one of the instructors will get back to you.
eg: When I added the maths course I needed help with an exam question on Chain Rule x Trig and Jonathan took his time to make a video to explain that particular question which I appreciated!

It was good enough that eventually I subbed to the Chemistry + maths course and again today adding Biology aswell.

If your deciding on using Tailored tutors then at least use the free trial first and then decide.

Tailored tutors is excellent for biology. Definitely recommend

very expensive, the tuition fees with face face teaching can not be compared with online teaching material and this was proved during Covid lockdown situation.
However, TT should consider to review price policy so wide majority of students can afford it. Is this education for rich families only?

As a current 1st year medic who had all 3 Tailored Tutors courses, it THE reason I got in.
All 3 subject courses teach you the content in the most efficient way, and the exam practice/methods taught are unmatched anywhere else.
Would 10/10 recommend to all who want them top grades for University, or just to improve their grades, as it just gives you that edge most students won't have.

Very good website, however takes time to learn how to use it and access all the resources. Additionally, it takes some time for the page to load.

This has really helped my son and we have seen instant results

My son loves the chemistry teacher and his way of explaining. The quizes and exam questions linked to the videos/chapters/topics are super useful to check understanding. The layout of the whole course per chapter is very well organized.
We also take biology. This is also very comprehensive and super organised. Explanations could be more detailed in our opinion for full understanding but that would probably add substantially extra hours of tutoring. Our igcse course was very basic, I think that is the core of the problem.

I got a B on results day for A-level biology and only had 5 weeks to revise for the autumn resit exams , with the help of tailored tutors I managed to get an A in my resit grade despite having to learn two full modules and having little time to prepare. Highly recommend and thank you TT for helping me get my grade !!!!!!!

The Tailored Tutors programme comprised the entirety of my revision for A-Level Biology + Chemistry and enabled me to achieve an A* in both subjects, gaining me a place to read Earth Sciences at Oxford.

I've been using Tailored Tutors A-Level Biology for a month and it is an amazing resource!
It streamlines the content of the Biology A-Level (AQA and others) so that you don't waste any time learning information that you will not need in the exam. There is also a great focus on exam questions and preparation.
I wish I had found Tailored Tutors before making the mistake of signing up with learndirect, which in my opinion is an absolutely dreadful company with rubbish courses.
I can't wait to be free of my learndirect contract so that I can come back to Tailored Tutors!!!

only thing that I found was for maths it would be nicer and easier if the videos were in order of the pearson edexcel workbook
