I love the convenience of having everything from my biology spec broken down into concise topics of everything we need to know with video notes, exam technique, exam questions and so much more as well as having 24 hr access. I find this a lot more useful than an in-person tutor as I can always go back at any time. Tutors are also so accessible on the site via chat and they answer any questions about the topics and personalised video advice too there are also weekly zooms which are so helpful and low pressure as the camera is not required to be on but the chat is open for involvement and to ask any questions regarding the topic, I really recommend enrolling as this has boosted by grade immensely!

Tailored Tutors is single handedly the best A-Level resource out there for anyone studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths. By making bitesize and concise videos, you can get through all the content you need to mind-blowingly fast. Their exam tips and revision technique is definitely a major reason why I achieved A*s in all 3 of my A Levels and help me secure my Medical school place!

Both the Biology and chemistry course has really helped my understanding of the course content. The exam technique teaching has been amazing. The live classes and skill sessions are also so helpful! I was on Ds for the majority of the 2 year alevel course. I hopped onto the course a month before the end of my bio exams as a last minute hope after seeing an advert by chance. I did as much as I could watching all the videos and doing the questions and went from Ds to an A in my results. If only I had got this at the beginning of y13 would have made my bio alevel experience so much more bearable.

I cannot recommend TailoredTutors enough! I was given a C and a D in Biology and Chemistry respectively, in 2021, as my final A-level grades by my teachers, due to exam cancellation. This came as a massive shock to me as I didn't feel like the process allowed me to convey my true ability, so I decided to sit my exams in 2022. Initially I was self teaching, but felt like I wasn't making much progress, and that's when I came across TailoredTutors. Regrettably, I only signed up to the program a few months prior to my exams (I believe around march time), yet in such a short space of time, I made substantial progress. I was averaging Cs in biology and Es in chemistry right before signing up, and didn't expect to improve my grade by too much due to how late I had left it, however, when I opened my results I was pleasantly surprised to discover I'd achieved As in both and exceeded my medical school offer! I solely credit the TT-method for any progress I made, and can 100% say that I couldn't have made so much progress in such little time with any other method.

Tailored Tutors is easily the best revision tool I used during my A levels, saving my grades in the last 6-7 months leading up to my exams. They have the best explanations of each topic across biology and chemistry, rarely ever missing any details (usually very minor). They format is very simple to use and easily. understandable. They are prompt and efficient at dealing with queries. Only problem had is that I wish I had gotten it sooner!!

TT has single handedly got me through my A-levels. They have the best resources, best video explanations and the best techniques to prepare you for exams. The amount of support given throughout the year and especially during exam season is beyond anything my teachers offered and when I felt stressed, you can always turn to TT for advice. The day before my stats and mechanics exams I watched an exam prep video in which Rich mentioned box-breathing to calm your nervous system. I can credit my A in Maths A-level to this technique as it prevented me from totally spiraling during the exam! I could not reccomend TT more, if you're thinking about getting it just try the free trail!

BEST A-LEVEL RESOURCE!!!!!!
I used Tailored Tutors for 1 month just before exam season and I was stuck on the A/B borderline prior in all my previous mocks at school. I truly believe that Tailored Tutors helped me achieve an A*!!!!!! Something I would never ever even imagine to achieve in Biology as it really was a subject I struggled with. The course is worth every single penny you pay for it. Quick responses and sometimes even video explanations when you dont understand something, the TT method, short concise videos, live webinars, the community at TT, the quizzes after each video to make sure you have understood the topic, literally like every single past paper question there is all in one space arranged by type or topic, I mean the list could go on.. this is literally the best thing that I ever stumbled across, I recommend this too absolutely everyone!

Not even lying when I say this SAVED my grades. COVID disruption alongside understaffing at my school meant that we unfortunately struggled to get through all the content in time for exams, particularly with Chemistry. It got to exam season and I realised how much we had left to cover in around 3 weeks time before our first exam. Using tailored tutors where every aspect of a topic is broken into concise videos, no longer than 15 mins was a lifesaver. As a visual/auditory learner, this was sooo useful, all the knowledge I needed was more likely to stick in my head because i could easily understand it through the tutors in depth explanations of everything. Additionally, the extra services provided including quick responses from tutors on certain queries, past paper questions per topic etc, was essential during exam season when resources became limited. Could not recommend this service enough!! Came out with A*A*A (A*s in Bio and Math, A in Chemistry) !!! Off to study medicine!!!!

I used TT for biology and have no regrets. In less than 3 months, I managed to improve by 2 grades. A massive thank you to Rich T and the team for this amazing platform. Biology became so much easier for me. Everything was exam board specific and the classes before each exam were super useful. The TT method actually works and Rich T made each live class super informative and interactive. The videos covering each topic on the spec were amazing and covered only what we need to know for the exam. Once again, thank you for everything! Just wish that I found TT earlier :) I wish Rich T and the team the very best for the future and I really hope that others give TT a try-you will not be disappointed.

In year 12, I was struggling with biology and chemistry and my UCAS predicted grades weren’t as well as I wanted them to be, but I was certain that they were the only ones I would achieve. A friend told me about tailored tutors so I decided to try it out. I tried both chemistry and biology and loved it.
The reasons I love TT are because:
1. the tutoring videos explain everything you need to know with absolutely no irrelevant info and somehow it’s quick and easy to understand
2. after each tutor video there are mini quizzes to test your knowledge
3. there are past paper questions with very detailed videos going over them to explain them. They are all organised by topic so that it can be easier for you to find them and practice them (no time wasting)
4. you can ask questions that will be answered within 24 hours by the instructors
5. you can watch the videos over and over again whenever you want
6. the cost is good because it’s basically the same as normal 1 hour weekly tutoring for a month, or maybe even less.
For me TT was a life saver. When I saw my grades for chemistry and biology on results day I couldn’t believe it. It was better than I could have ever expected. Thanks TT :)

I don't know where I could possibly start when describing how helpful tailored tutors has been. I initially got it at the beginning of year 12 and even wrote a review after a few months of usage (which you can find), but now that I have my AS grades from my modular exams and I'm about to enter year 13, I can put into perspective just how good it is.

Biology: I cannot tell you how helpful Rich is and how amazing the resources, videos, questions and question guides are on the website. I for one struggled with biology ever since GCSE, scraping 6's, but ever since I've started the tailored tutors programme I've never gotten below 90% in the topic tests at school, and it all led me to achieve 200/200 UMS in the two modular exams I took this year. I've learnt to predict exactly what the markscheme would entail. I only wish more people knew about this programme, gave it a chance and used it correctly because hard work is required. At the end of the day, everything is handed to you on a golden platter, you just have to make an effort to work with what you have.

Chemistry: yet another lifesaver. I never had great chemistry teachers throughout year 12 and so as a result I taught myself almost all the material using TT. Where did that get me? 199/200 UMS in my modular exams!! From the live lessons to the constant feedback I received from Rich whenever I was confused, I built a great foundation in chemistry and the way it's taught on the programme just simplifies everything to the best degree. This is definitely my favourite subject so I may be a bit biased, but I truly have no idea where my grades would be without the programme.

Math: oh my god!! I never had any confidence with maths, especially not a level maths, but Ronnie's constant help and support pushed me all the way!! From the videos on the website to the questions provided to the personalized sessions I would have with her and the small tips and tricks she provided, I can give Ronnie all the credit when I received 100 UMS in P1, 100 in P2 and 99 in S1; 299/300 UMS overall. She was always there to not just be my tutor, but also my cheerleader whenever my confidence wore off. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate you so much Ronnie.

I wanted to write this review because I know scores speak to people and this would persuade others to get the programme, but I really mean it when I say I have no idea where I would be without TT, both academically and mentally. The community on discord is just as important as the content that is taught, and the way the whole organisation has structured its materials and support is perfect. Here's to another year of TT before I graduate, I have confidence it will be even better than year 12. Give it a shot, you have nothing to lose, really!

Went from a D to an A!
TT has been amazing, I went from a D grade in biology in year 12 to an A grade in my A level exam (only 2 marks off an A*). I found the learning style comprising of short video notes followed by a quiz very helpful as someone with dyslexia who struggles with memory I found this really effective in terms of remembering all the tricky biology content. 100% recommend

This is a must have service for sixth formers studying science. My daughter used Tailored Tutors for Biology and Chemistry. The online lessons and support covered everything in the exam prospectus. My daughter learned more Biology from the online lessons than she did at school. She achieved 3 A’s - absolutely fantastic therefore totally recommend!! Well worth the monthly fees.

From my experience this is the best online resource for A level biology and chemistry (I didn’t do a level maths). They really try and provide you with everything possible and show they really want the best for the students by trying to give advice and support on the live sessions and updating the students on any new news to the exams. I can’t recommend this enough !!
