Signed up with them as recommended by Nationwide. Unfortunately they are not as proactive as their marketing suggests. I had to chase them for both my mother and for ourselves. The fixed rate contract I had agreed to move onto was a flexible, more expensive contract. The reason I was given is that the supplier could not find my address, despite being given bills! That issue has possibly been partially resolved. Bank account details are given to Switchd so that they can be shared with the new supplier so everything is seamless. The supplier says they don't have them. I would give 1 star,were it not for the staff with whom I have interacted who are effective. My mother too, has had issues.

Switched suppliers according to Switchd's recommendation. One little glitch but Switchd's support team got it sorted quickly and efficiently.

I found this to be useful service and the person handling the switch was very responsive and professional.
However, I had multiple requests to provide meter readings and it was not always clear what stage of the process we were in.
Also, my existing supplier EDF eventually sent me an estimated quote that represented an increase of £40 in my monthly premium as opposed the supplier I was Switchd to which was £50 !
I didn't have the energy to turn the clock back and stick with what I had !

This was a great idea but Covid ruined the model for me. As far as I can recall I got switched once before covid for a small saving and there were no further switches until that company went bust and I got switched automatically (not by Switchd) to EON who I went immediately into dispute with over credit from previous supplier. I had no final statement from previous supplier so no proof. No switches since then. All in all, its cost me a lot more than it has saved.

I was contacted by Switchd about a potentsaving by switching supplier. They worked out the savings for me.based on my last bill, then once I was happy they made the process happen taking all the hassle out of it.

Nice to communicate with the same person (pretty much) and to be switched to a cheaper supplier. The only thing I didn't like was having my email address changed for the purpose of going through Switchd to communicate with my new supplier although I sort of understand the reason for it; I prefer to deal direct always.
