Stay Away – Overpriced, unstable, and terrible support
I’ve rarely come across a platform this weak. Surveysparer is absurdly overpriced: €50 for 500 additional responses, and that on a system that constantly bugs out, freezes, and barely runs reliably.
On top of that, you can’t even choose a monthly subscription – only quarterly plans, which is completely inflexible and unfriendly toward customers. For this price, I would at least expect a stable platform. Instead, I got the opposite.
The support is another story: extremely slow, takes ages to reply, and even then provides no real solutions. The staff seems overwhelmed and unable to fix even basic issues.
Bottom line: poor performance, overpriced, bad service. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Surveysparer. There are plenty of alternatives that cost less and work far better.

Can I have my money back?
We've used SurveySparrow for a couple of years, so can honestly compare how the product is today (23 Oct 2025) with what we have experienced previously...
And it's night and day!
Previously, the software worked really well, was reliable, and fast. No major issues from day to day or survey to survey - the data pulled through to Google Sheets almost in real time.
Now, the software and the continued additions to its capabilities have turned SurveySparrow into a bug-ridden, unreliable piece of crap that regularly causes service interruptions in our business.
Data now takes an age to sync with Google Sheets and often requires us to go and manually push through (and no notifications of when something is not pulling through properly).
Logic/piping within surveys is now a pain in the arse to use - clearly no-one did any UX research before implementing changes as its made the tool worse and harder to use than ever before.
And bugs that are never sorted, i.e. a "None of the above" option in a survey appears as the first response classification rather than being anchored at the bottom.
And don't rely on their Customer Support responding to you in Live Chat (a misnomer if ever there was one!) - they regularly take hours/ days to resolve issues that they are clearly unaware of!
I could go on, but I'll save you the pain... stay clear!
I'm on the lookout for a new, better, more reliable alternative. Can I have my money back SurveySparrow as you have failed to deliver on your promises?

it's a piece of shit. it's slow, I'm trying to cancel my subscription for 30 minutes, and it didn't work out because of that.
Your pricing structure is VERY…
Your pricing structure is VERY misleading. You say it's $19 per month - but fail to mention that's only if you pay ONE YEAR in advance. The only other options is QUARTERLY at almost $40/mo. When I tried to chat with one of their reps about other options - I was ignored and then cut off. It really sucks that I've spent over a week now building my surveys to now have to switch. First of all you don't have a true monthly billing option. Secondly, I am not paying $40 a month quarterly just to get only 10-15 surveys max per month. These surveys are onboarding questions for pre and new customers. I only work with maybe 4 1:1 clients per month and 1-2 business clients per 6 months. I don't need on demand regular monthly surveys. Really sucks.

Bad experience, terrible service
Bad experience. I find the website really malfunctioning in many ways. Let alone the translations to different languages than English, like Spanish (terrible!!). This is a proof for me that the website is not professional as it should.
Probably the worst is the Customer Service. So slow and vague in responses... Basically, you´re required to provide a video recording in support of all your queries. For instance, once the survey is sent out, the recipient is requested to log in SurveySparrow to be able to access the survey! I find this awkward. They took days to provide an answer, basically saying I had to start all over again with creation of survey. Never again.

Constant bugs
I encountered issue after issue with this program over the year we tried to launch it. Customer service was responsive, but the bugs were not always resolved. A few examples: After pausing a survey during the holidays, I was not able to resume it because it was going to be sent to too many people (less than 50). It didn't give me an error at the time I resumed it so I found out after it wasn't deploying as it normally would on-going. I had to rebuild it. For another survey that had a 180-day throttling setting, instead of sending a reminder out to the group that didn't fill out the recent survey, it was sent out to the entire population because reminders are not tied to the throttling setting. When you upload a list there may be one contact that has an error, but you'll receive a success message without knowing there was an error or which contact to resolve. Also, many of the features that should be standard require an upgrade or limit you in what you're able to do.
TERRIBLE. Do not use!
I usually use Survey Monkey but was looking for an AI powered survey software to help me create surveys faster. Terrible mistake.
I sent out a survey to hundreds of customers. I was unable to view the results unless I upgraded. Once I upgraded, I was still not able to view the results. Customer support had to unlock them on the backend.
Then I could see the results but the download button wasn't working. I still don't have the survey data at the moment. I would not recommend. I'm very surprised that they have such a high rating.

I used SurveySparrow to write a review of a product I bought online, and it was so simple and fun.
I could customize the survey design, Choose from different question types and templates, and get instant feedback from the respondents. SurveySparrow is the best survey tool I have ever used, And I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to collect feedback from customers or employees.
Tiresome and a scheme to get all your money.
The interface is easy to use, and the surveys are great, however, you will always have to buy another plan. It's just a scheme to get all of your money. I extended my trial and my responses were locked. I purchased a plan with more responses and they counted those responses in the quota. Even if you delete your surveys, when you upgrade they will still make you pay for the deleted surveys even though you have no access to them. The worst part is the only thing customer service will say to you is that "I'm sorry, that's how it is".
It was chaotic and time wasting
It was chaotic and time wasting. Prior information were not retained so I had to fill over and over again whenever I had to leave the page to get required information . Uploading was impossible.

The worst customer support in the history of the internet.
It takes two or three days for them to respond to a support ticket and every time they did they would ask for information that was already provided.
We gave up after waiting and created our own work around and they had the audacity to email a weeks of silence to tell us they had resolved the issue, referring to the work around we had implemented - I haven't experienced anything like it.
