Very Stressful!
I have only experienced increased stress and anxiety so far, but I'm still praying and hopeful. So far out of the $4000 I have paid in, over half has gone to fees vs paying my debt. But they say fees get paid first. I will keep a close eye on it. They only negotiate one at a time, so the others just get further behind. Credit score has gone down 200 pts in a few months. Accounts I didn't include that I wanted to pay myself and protect have closed due to my credit score plummeting. I was trying to do the responsible thing by foreseeing problems and getting ahead of them during Covid. Strategy has backfired. I'm going to give it a little more time as my business is picking up and hoping to possibly increase payments to settle accounts early. VERY, VERY STRESSFUL!
