The Mind Store isn’t Mindful at All—and Greed will Shut Them Down!
Fantastic experience for two and a half years. With a membership, I was even at the highest training level and highly competitive with my knowledge skills. Then my iPhone 13 battery blew up. I used the Elevate App on my iPad instead. But while waiting for an appointment, I attempted downloading the app through my same email address on my new phone. Instead of allowing it, the app continuously prompted me for a free one week plan to “try it out” and see if I liked it.
Their customer service and technical support, as well as billing department, are handled via AI prompts. (Their Balance Meditation App also uses AI prompted scripts, btw. I have this app’s lifetime membership.) But there is no way of communicating with a person—only canned responses.
Fastforward a few emails later, as I became increasingly agitated, to today. Although my most recent annual purchase doesn’t expire until June, I’ve been dislocated and no longer have access. Of course, there’s been no refund with only half a year of my membership utilized.
Now, after submitting my email, I’m informed they’re backlogged—geez, I have to wonder why. And a lot of companies who’ve given into the Artificial Intelligence commodity are quickly discovering that such a move will cost them in the end, as it clearly is for The Mind Company.
