They charge you an extra transaction fee for paying with a method that is more inconvenient!
I only agreed to pay with this app because I thought I was helping the server out and saving her time. It is ridiculous to charge me and my friend for using more of our time and going through the hassle of entering our details in an app so the server doesn't have to do it!
They also make it really unclear that a transaction fee will be involved until you get right to the end. It also seemed like I wouldn't have to pay it if I paid by card instead of Google pay, but when the receipt came through it turns out they had taken it anyway.
Such a scam! Has been an irritating end to a visit to what is otherwise one of my favourite restaurants.

I loved using sunday to pay. We were 4 and needed to divide our bill in 3 to cover for our friend's birthday. This was so smooth and perfect to make it an unforgettable experience for our friend!

This app is morally corrupt. The restaurant adds a service charge. Then the app asks if you want to leave a tip. Watch out for this and say no otherwise you end up paying double tip. Should be illegal.

Very convenient when you are on a hurry and cannot wait for the waiter to be available.

Optional Service Charge is imposed and can only be removed by not using this app. Do not pay through this app as you cannot choose your optionals there.

Sneaky £1.99 fee per customer paying, so if you split the bill you each pay £1.99 extra. Don't split it and just get your trustworthy friend to bank transfer you the money.

It also asks for a tip on top of the service charge that is on the bill! Cheeky.

I'll be avoiding paying this way in future!

Always asks for a 0.99€ fee, asks for tips even though we're in France, asks for a rating... Just go to the waiter.

The service makes it look like you are reviewing the app when in fact you are reviewing the restaurant. VERY deceptive. I ended up giving an excellent restaurant 3 stars when I would have given it 5 stars and now I cannot find a way to change that. Real shame.

I loved the experience with sunday — everything was simple, fast, and seamless. We could browse the menu, order, and pay right from our phones without ever having to wait. Splitting the bill and leaving a tip was just one click — super convenient when you're with a group. On a pu consulter le menu, commander et payer directement depuis notre téléphone, sans jamais avoir à attendre. Le partage de l’addition et le pourboire se font en un clic — hyper pratique quand on est en groupe. Franchement, c’est le genre d’appli qu’on ne veut plus quitter une fois qu’on l’a testée !

Si vous avez un jour l'opportunité d'utiliser cette application dans un restaurant, je vous déconseille de l'utiliser pour payer votre addition car ils vous facturent un supplément (au moins 1€...) par règlement et sans vous avertir au préalable... et impossible de faire un retour en arrière.
Vraiment honteux en termes de pratique commerciale !

Awesome experience with this app!
The experience was smooth, and we could easily share the bill. It was even easier to give the waiter a tip, as I don't usually have some cash with me.
In an other restaurant, I could even reorder a glass of wine!
