great and easy experience booking a storage unit, the service was fantastic by wayne and i couldn’t recommend enough!

You’ve got to be out before 9pm, i was not & that’s on me & i was informed there would be a fee charged to me to be released after 9pm. I was not informed of the extortion amount of $80 to be able to leave the facility, nor was i aware of the gross incompetence of storage king and the security company they work with as i called the number provided to call for after hours “ assistance “ whom seem to know what or how to enable my exit, which turns out is as simple as one would assume that a click or two of the mouse / keyboard from where ever whom ever the security company was to open the roller door is initially and then one of two boom gates. After initially calling and speaking to someone whom didn’t know &/or care how to do his job i.e let me out, so i was put on hold for several minutes to be called they would call me back after calling somebody else as to how they go about “ assisting “ me in leaving the premises. When they did call back they informed me whoever they called did not answer there call, turns out that was the area manager whom did not answer the call from the security company but was actually quite livid that she was called at all and not the store manager as he, the store manager said to me the following day that I must be charged $ 80 from being there after hours & at first I wasn’t thrilled about the day light robbery / extortion of $80 to be allowed to leave but also the the store manager was surprised that he wasn’t called nor aware of the situation and that the area manager was and was also the one who there security company called asking what & how to do what was required to allow me to leave which again turned out to be nothing more a few clicks of the mouse / keyboard to open / raise the roller door i was parked behind obviously preventing my exiting the facility.
So after speaking to a different person from the security company who also had zero clue nor interest in my getting out there and told me they will figure it out and inform of any progress as soon as possible. Few more minutes go by & this stage it’s already been over half an hour, then I get called again & failing all else they told me they would have to send out a patrol car, a third party from storage king & whoever that super incompetent “ security “ company happen to be. I knew the patrol car wouldn’t be there immediately to assumedly make me exiting the facility a possibility &/or ensure what they, the other security mob already knew that I was a paying customer not some shifty person up to no good as i found out over 70 minutes later i hadn’t seen anyone arrive on location so i called again stating its been75 minutes now ( of waiting for said patrol car + over 35+ minutes prior to that & the confused idiot I spoke to seemed baffled by ask repeadily asking if i was sure no one had come and I was certain no one had because I would have seen them through the roller section or there headlights at least. More time goes by now whoever the stupid idiot i’m talking to is asking if there’s any numbers on the roller doors so he can know which one to open so I can drive out & there isn’t, there is however maximum height clearance number displayed above each roller door but that along with my elaborate description of which of the 4 in total roller doors I was behind I was informed that whoever i was talking to had to end our call to seek if they had permission to open the roller door via there computer where every they were. Insanely long time has passsed at the point & in get called back and told that he did have permission to let me out as again it was know I was a paying customer as I had entered my password upon arrival & had not entered again upon departure which store manager told me the next day / by that time later that day he told me he only become aware of what had happened after having spoken to the area manager, the very same who didn’t answer when called giving zero of damn about me getting out let alone in a speedy manner, no just that how dare she be disturbed with my / this irrelevant to her situation and that minuet not even an inconvenience to her must be rectified by her firm stance that I be charged the late exit fee, let alone I was there waiting to be released for approaching 2 hours by now & be asked by whoever i was on the phone with, the security mob who didn’t know which roller door to open from his computer wherever he / they were located for him to then ask me if i was standing behind my car, i said no not behind but i am standing next to my car confirming what i already knew, they / he could see me through the security camera’s as well as which roller door needed opening to allow me to drive out, so what the F was all that bs before about not being able to know which door also that it was entirely possible to let me out immediately but no they got the audacity the F me around for over two hours and slug me $80 for “ privilege “ of shouldn’t have been more than minute/s not hours
