The crew at the Bossier location is amazing! The only reason why I took away two stars was the wait time after performing the exam, and that had nothing to do with the crew. It was more the delay from the doctor. I'm normally in and out within 30 minutes, and this time it was more like an hour and fifteen minutes.

Process was easy and I was able to get my glasses when needed.

I called and made an appointment for the same day. Wow, that's awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the process. They walked me through everything. I need glasses for driving and I got an eye exam and single vision glasses #2 pair for $79.99 plus tax. I will tell my family and friends.

I want to start by saying my rating is not reflective of the staff that works in person in this clinic. They were friendly and accommodating to the best of their ability. However the virtual doctor, Michael Insler, is a joke. He made this experience the worst in the 39 years I have been wearing contacts. I wear multi focal lenses, the same prescription for many years. Dr Insler changed my prescription. I told the staff before I left the office they did not work for me. They said try them for a few days and see. See! Haha. My job requires up close vision every day. I could not see up close and told them that. I was required to come for a recheck. I tried telling Dr Insler my concerns and tried to ask questions but he just kept saying to talk to my technician. He was very rude and even raised his voice at one point. He eventually did change my prescription slightly but they still didnt work for me. I asked him to change back to my original prescription, which worked perfectly for me. He eventually did but I ended up having to pay $588 to go back to my original prescription, in addition to over $500 spent on the first visit for contacts and glasses. That in addition to what my insurance paid. I walked in on he first day seeing fine and walked out not being able yo see. It took 4 weeks to resolve this problem, all while wearing the wrong prescription contacts. Never again!! And I will tell anyone who mentions going to Stanton to run, run, run away as fast as they can.

Very quick and professional experience! Definitely going back :) The technology being used had my mind blown, I 100% expected to have my eyes dilated, nope!

I went there about 2 weeks ago still have t got my eyeglasses I kept getting text their at the store for pick up get there and the lady looking all around for them and then decided to tell me they not coming until the 9 remind you I seen on the doorway same day eyeglasses they told me they take my Medicare card over phone get there and she tells me they don’t accept it but I needed glasses real bad but I can promise you I will never go to this place ever again

THEY FRAUDULENTLY ADVERTISE "FREE EYE EXAM" ON THE ILLUSION THAT THEY "ACCEPT YOUR INSURANCE"; WHICH IS A RUSE TO GET YOU IN THE STORE TO UPSELL THEIR EXPENSIVELY PRICED, EXTRA FEATURED LENSES, ALONG WITH CHEAP QUALITY PRIVATE LABEL FRAMES. OUR INSURANCE VERIFIED THEY ARE NOT "IN NETWORK" AND THE EXAM RECEIPTS ARE NOTED AS "SAVINGS", NOT A CHARGE. THERE ARE NO CLAIMS SUBMITTED TO VISION "INSURANCE", ONLY ARBITRARY DISCOUNTS APPLIED TO YOUR ORDER (BECAUSE YOU "HAVE INSURANCE"). THE "EXAMS" ARE PERFORMED OVER THE INTERNET WITH AN OFFSITE OPTICIAN PERFORMING VIDEO PROMPTED, COMPUTERIZED EXAMS. [THAT'S WHY THEY OFFER "FREE EXAMS" WHEN YOU BUY FROM THEIR OPTICAL "DEPARTMENT"]. THERE IS NO ACTUAL LICENSED OPTICIAN STAFFING THEIR STORES; JUST A "TECHNICIAN" WHOSE SOLE PURPOSE IS TO GET AN APPROXIMATED "PRESCRIPTION" (A PRINT OUT WITH "MEASUREMENTS" THEY CALL, "RECOMMENDATIONS") FOR USE IN LENS SALES AND WITH FRAMES INCLUDED. THE PROFITS ARE MADE ON SELLING TINT, GLARE, POLYCARBONATE, PROGRESSIVES, ETC...FRAMES ARE USUALLY A 400% MARKUP ANYWAY, SO WHATEVER THEY CAN CHARGE FOR THOSE WILL ALWAYS SEEM LIKE A BARGAIN WITH THEIR "DISCOUNT" OPTIONS. [I REPRESENTED DAVIS VISION YEARS AGO AND RALPH LAUREN'S COST WERE UNDER $30 WHOLESALE THEN).
GO INSTEAD WHERE YOU HAVE AN IN-PERSON, LICENSED OPTICIAN; OR, GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FROM AN OPTHAMOLOGIST, AN ACTUAL MEDICAL DOCTOR WHO CONDUCTS FULL EYE HEALTH EXAMS. THE FORMER SHOULD COST IN A RANGE OF $70-100 FOR A 30 MINUTE EXTENSIVE LENS CHECKS FOR NEAR AND FAR; WHILE THE LATTER WILL RUN UPWARDS OF $300 WITHOUT HEALTH INSURANCE. IT'S AN INTRIGUING BUSINESS MODEL WITH ACCEPTABLE "WALK-OFF'S" [AND NO SALES' RATIOS] THAT ARE INTOLERABLE IF THEY DON'T HAVE EMPLOYEES WHO CAN "SELL" WITH A STRAIGHT FACE. MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS BELIEVE THIS IS A DECEPTIVE PRACTICE THAT WILL ONLY LAST AS LONG AS UNINFORMED AND UNDER-EDUCATED EYEGLASS WEARERS CONTINUE TRYING TO USE THEIR INSURANCE BENEFITS WHERE THEY WRONGLY LURED INTO THEIR STORES. FOR THE OWNERS, IT'S AN IMAGINATIVE BUT CREEPY WAY TO GET CUSTOMERS WITH A "YES" ANSWER TO, "DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?". THEY'LL CERTAINLY RECITE YOUR AVAILABLE BENEFITS; BUT NOT HOW THEY WILL BE APPLIED - BECAUSE THEY WON'T BE APPLIED [They're Not Likely In-Network?]. ASK THEM WITH WHAT COMPANIES ARE THEY ACTUALLY, CONTRACTED FOR DIRECT PAYMENTS TO STANTON. Surely, they'll be HONEST about that.

After getting a ride up thereand promises me twice that they took my insurance nope wants me to pay out of pocket I can't afford out of pocket this place sucks and can't be honest about the insurance they take

I went to this Bossier City store yesterday as a potential new customer with a new eyeglass prescription. There was one other customer there who was viewing the available products. No employee was in sight to welcome customers. After about a minute 2 women came out and one asked what did I want? I informed this person I firstly wanted to know if my insurance was accepted there. I kid you not when I tell you this person had the coldest nonfriendly customer service attitude I ever saw. She looked my insurance company information and informed me BCBS was not accepted there. She did nothing to see if what was the problem. I left there and went to another eyeglass store as a potential new customer. This store was EXTREMELY busy. I was greeted with "Someone will be with you shortly". An employee finally took my information and said the same thing as the one at Stanton but she took the time and extra step to call BCBS to find out the issue. I was indeed a BCBS optical customer and was able to purchase my needed eyewear. This employee was cordial, professional and made suggestions. I will forever go to this store for my eye needs.
