If you file a claim and they claim you will be reimbursed they will lie to you stating the store cant be reached or they cant verify then later they will just decline your Claim

I have been waiting since the end of November for a refund of $234 for repair to my Maytag dishwasher which was repaired by a Maytag technician. I thought my warranty was with Maytag but it was with Square Trade. I was assured when I called Square Trade that I merely had to send my receipt in for a refund. It is now January 2nd and still no refund. I have sent all requested information and continue to get a form letter back stating that they are unable to contact the repair store. I’m still waiting for a response to my last email which was sent before Christmas, but I’m not hopeful. I will never buy another extended warranty from this company again. I’ve tried to escalate it but only get to speak to a customer service rep who looks at the issue and says they will escalate it but nothing happens. I purchased the dishwasher from Home Depot so beware if you want an extended warranty with this company.

Almost 4 weeks later, Allstate and Square trade stuck to their story that they wanted more documentation from the gas company Nipsco. The technician they sent five days after our request only wore a vest, he did not bring a gas sensor to confirm there was a gas leak. He showed no credentialsto prove he was a technician. The fact that the warranty company for Home Depot works remotely in a foreign country is troubling. Don’t do it. You’re wasting your money on a to prove he was a technician. You’re wasting your money on an extended warranty with Allstate or Home Depot or any big box company. Square trade emailed and asked for stove documents for a repair, AGAIN. 23 days later we are STILL without a stove. I stated they weren’t listening because they took the NIPSCO copy stating the problem. They’re incompetent and need a company supporting us in the US. Not timely at all. A real SCAM!!!! They act like a ‘team’ that is remotely on another continent. Buy local and get a technician local and timely. You’re not in good hands with All State. Negative stars if allowed.
I am in the process of BEGGING SQUARE TRADE to PLEASE RETURN MY PACKAGE TO ME! I sent them a product, they have returned it to a previous address, and guaranteed me they would get a signature upon return.FEDEX did not get a signature. Now Square trade has disrespected me (I GUESS I TALKED OVER A YELLING SUPERVISOR, SO I DISRESPECTED HIM ALSO) and will not help me.I have asked them to have SQUARE TRADE TO ISSUE A CALL TAG, HAVE FEDEX PICK UP THE PACKAGE AND SEND THE PACKAGE TO ME. THEY REALIZE THERE IS A LIABILITY AND WILL NOT DO THIS. FEDEX WONT HELP ME IF SQUARE TRADE DOES NOT COMPLY. I JUST WANT MY PACKAGE BACK!!!!I HAVE EVEN FAXED THE CUSTOMER TWICE AND LEFT VOICEMAIL ONE.
