Strange one this
Strange one this. I wanted to purchase a product and found one on EyeTek. After more searching, I found the same product on SpycatcherOnline.co.uk but for £78 less. Seeing as EyeTek say on their website that they make these products I thought I'd inform them seeing as something is very wrong. When I spoke to someone at EyeTek they said "they couldn't comment on what other businesses sell" and closed my query. I then compaired the websites and noted the same layout and same contact phone number plus the same products. I did some further digging and found out that EyeTek and SpycatcherOnline.co.uk are the SAME company. You can check this on Companieshouse which is a government website listing all businesses. They have the same physical address. When I checked the Name Servers and the public DNS records of the websites, they are the same which is only possible if the company is the same. Same external IP addresses. Identical. This is publicly available info and nothing illegal was done to get this information.
Less than 24 hours later after me pointing out the price difference, SpycatcherOnline.co.uk had risen the price from £99 to match the EyeTek price. Talk about rubbing salt in to the wound. First this Philip Stevens lied to me about SpycatcherOnline.co.uk and then hiked up the price because he had made a mistake. I wouldn't trust this 'director' and his 'homemade' camera's. Who know's what he's putting in these camera's. No doubt he'll read this and make the necessary changes to make it look like they're different companies but I assure you, they are the same. There is no hiding from that. Why he's done this, well, I'll leave that up to you dear reader...
