I have been working with the team at spring for a while, they have all blown me away with their way of working professional friendly helpful and efficient way of working.we as a company will forever choose to use them. Although they have all been a delight I do need to give a special shout out to Sam who is on another level of professionalism in my opinion. Thank you as always and look forward in working with you again in the near future

We decided to go down the part exchange route to save all the stress of selling our house privately and having the chance of a chain breaking down.
We were recommended to Spring by Shore field.
We had the most excellent service.
Lewis rang us within 4 days of us deciding to do part exchange.
He organised the estate agents who came in the first week.
The valuations were done and Lewis came back to us three days after the valuations with an offer.
Lewis then arranged a survey for our property and after that we accepted their offer and the whole process only took four weeks.
So the service was fantastic and we would highly recommend Spring if you are thinking of going part exchange.
They take all the stress away from moving and are extremely helpful in every way and gave us excellent service throughout.

Spring were very good i would recomend them

Having recently experienced the hassle and stress of trying to sell her house and losing the property she wanted, my mother took her house off the market and had resigned herself to having to stay in a property that was too large for her. She then looked into McCarthy Stone retirement properties and discovered the Spring part exchange scheme and is now happily settled in her flat. The first offer from Spring was too low to make the move viable, but she was advised to negotiate and a slightly better price was agreed. My mother could have held out for a higher price on the open market but she would still be trying to sell her house to date and would have the lost the flat she wanted. My mother was able to move in within weeks of having her offer accepted without the uncertainty of a chain. The fact that she was able to have access to her house after completion date meant that she could move into her new flat on a day and time that suited her and was able to make sure she had everything she needed before the house was cleared. Obviously she still had to go through the conveyancing and legal processes but Rebecca and Simon at Spring were always happy to help with any issues and questions I had and Simon ensured that the completion date worked for us and kept me informed on progress. Downsizing and moving was always going to be a stressful time for my 89 year old mother but Spring helped keep the stress to a minimum over a much shorter period of time.
My mother is so relaxed and happy in her new flat that we both agree that selling with Spring was the best decision and worth the money lost in comparison to the estate agents valuation.

The personnel were friendly, patient and professional whenever we communicated

Overall, we felt we had an adequate experience. We were satisfied with the offer made. Using a part exchange process probably did help speed up the sale of our elderly mother’s home due to its type and location - from the acceptance of the offer to completion it took about 4 1/2 months - and it did reduce some of the potential stress for her (for example, lots of viewings, being stuck in a chain). However, we did feel somewhat mislead by Spring and the marketing hype which implies it’s easy and quick to sell and buy using their service. It’s still not straightforward! All the usual associated legal work needs to be done, which is time consuming and can be frustrating and overwhelming, especially for an older person, for example, if documents are lost or have to be ordered. A lasting power of attorney is absolutely vital if you are helping an elderly relative move (note this takes up to 3 months to put in place, if required). Fortunately, we had an excellent solicitor who was used to dealing with our client group. But it is something to be aware of, moving is a complex process whatever the blurb says! One gripe we had was the automated greeting when phoning the Spring office which says ‘a completion date to suit’ - in the end, we had 2 completion dates promised that didn’t happen due to what appeared to be slowness on Springmoves side, creating a lot of uncertainly for us as a family. Arranging the drop off of keys to the local estate agent on behalf of Spring once the sale had gone through also didn’t go to plan - I was assured they had been informed and I was expected but they didn’t know anything about it! However, our mother is now happy in her new flat so it has been worthwhile in the end.

Samson was great, proactive and fast communication.
