Tried to cancel, still billed me for food and sent it even though it was supposedly “cancelled” prior to shipment. Then said “it’s already shipped” a full day later. Told them specifically that my dogs would not eat it, was not given an option to return it or get any type of refund for unused food and still going to receive another shipment that cost over $400 for two dogs. Locked my credit card and changed numbers so that it would not happen again since I was supposed to not get billed again previously.

I’ve tried every dog food. Spot & tango is the only one that works for my picky eater. Its been more than a week and she loves the turkey sweet potato unkibble. She finishes her bowl and asks for more! Thank you spot & tango!

So far and know I am the queen of skeptical I am very pleased and so is my pooch! I had almost given up she was so picky I purchased 12 brands of dog food only one she even considered. Two days in a row now she has cleaned her bowl. Followed your recommendation of limited quantity to start so put it beside her wet nutrish (Rachel Ray) food she ate it all!!! We are pleased as punch. It’s pricey but if she continues to eat well I will pay. I was throwing food out daily.

UPDATE: I am raising my rating from 1 star to 3 stars because the company’s leadership reached out personally to resolve this. Andrew from the CX Leadership team apologized for the previous dismissive experience I had with support and issued a full refund for the February order. While it was a stressful road to get here and the food didn't work for our dogs, I appreciate that Spot & Tango eventually prioritized pet health and took accountability for their team's communication. It’s rare to see a company admit where they fell short, and for that, I’m grateful. (see below for the response)

I am writing this to warn other pet parents, especially those with senior dogs or pups with sensitive stomachs. We fed our two Welsh Pembroke Corgis (Juniper, 1.5 years, and Oliver, 11 years) UnKibble for several months. Starting in early 2026, both dogs simultaneously developed severe, persistent vomiting and diarrhea.

We spent over two months and $600+ in veterinary bills trying to find the cause. We performed multiple fecal tests and bloodwork—all of which came back negative for parasites or infections. Through a strict medical elimination diet where we removed all treats and supplemental food, we isolated the variable: every time we re-introduced UnKibble, the symptoms returned. Since switching to a different brand in April, both dogs have made a full and immediate recovery.

When I reached out to Spot & Tango with this medical documentation, they refunded my most recent order but flatly refused to refund the previous month’s order (over $400), simply because it fell outside their "28-day refund window." It is impossible to diagnose a food-related illness through a proper elimination diet within 28 days.

Most concerning was the response from their supervisor, Mina, who told me that if I disputed the charge with my bank, they would "counter accordingly." It is appalling that a "premium" pet health company would threaten to fight a customer over a few hundred dollars when that customer has documented proof of their pets' suffering and $600+ in vet bills caused by their product.

They prioritize rigid corporate policies over the actual health and safety of the animals they feed. I will not be returning, and I recommend looking elsewhere if you value transparency and support when things go wrong.

Beau loves his food and he's losing weight at a healthy rate. The food smells pleasant, unlike kibble. There's no dust and it's clean. I felt trepidation at first at the small portion but it's clearly perfect for him. After three months of service, shipments arrive on time and are well packaged.
This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

My Havanese are wonderful but they are really picky about what they eat. I decided to try Spot & Tango and to my surprise…they loved it! It’s wonderful to know that they are eating healthy, nutritious food and they are loving it! Their bowls are empty as soon as I fill them!

I can’t give you a review right now, other than he really likes it. I have other dog food that I am using up.

Great food, Great customer service

We are only two weeks in but my 2 year old pup Peach absolutely loves the food. Her energy levels are high and shes excited for meal time. The quality of the food is great and the ordering process is easy. It is worth the money!

My dog loves this food! And I don’t have to put anything on top to entice him to eat. So convenient. Thank You!

To be honest my dog is only on her 5th day of transitioning. She is still eating mixed in with her Farmer’s Dog food. I have given some of her S&T as a treat too. Juju is not a picky eater, so she eats. She is not @ the spinning in circles level yet over this new food. So, check back in a month after the transition period is complete!

We followed the suggestions from Spot & Tango to slowly mix their food in with the food we were already using. Our dog Rosie literally picked through her old food to pull out the Spot & Tango food. For the next meal, I decided to just feed her the regular serving size of the Spot & Tango. She cleaned her bowl eagerly within a few minutes, something she has never done since bringing her home as a puppy. I’m so happy we gave Spot & Tango a try!

Charley, my service dog is a picky eater. I was able to get him to eat his kibble with cheese, but I was informed that cheese was causing his weight issue. Now Charley has food he really likes. His energy level has increased, he isn't scratching and licking all the time, and his coat it shiny and healthy.

Their customer service has been great. The dog likes the food and is doing great with it. Good poop and no smelly farts. It is a bit pricy but I found not the highest in this food market. We have been using the beef and I intend to try the Turkey soon.

My dog, Cale, was struggling with her packaged food due to food mites. When I was looking to switch her over to fresh food, I was finding out just how ridiculously priced other competitors were. When I found Spot & Tango, I realized I wasn't going to have to sacrifice money or Cale's health. She is obsessed with the food!

My dog is extremely picky. She won't even eat peanut butter or a french fry the grandkids drops. Any change in food usually causes distress but not Spot and Tango. I decided to give it a try, followed the recommended change over and she never blinked, had gas or diarrhea. She loves this food (unkibble). I admit it takes some getting used to how it looks compared to kibble but the nuggets were well received and Nani approved. Cheese bites and chicken bite treats were also well received. She always looks for more but has not lost weight from eating only the measured amount recommended, so I know (I am a veterinarian) that her nutritional needs are being made. She just wants more because she loves the food. Its costing me a little over 8 dollars a day but that is less than the other diets were costing to feed her. Someone complained they couldn't find the ingredient list, its on the front of the bag! but also can be found on their website along with the name of the veterinary advisor, AAFCO results about nutrition, calorie count, etc... You don't even have to log in. As for ordering, you can access your account at anytime, postpone or speed up deliveries, or even cancel. My Nani is picky, if Nani likes it, its great food.

My bubby absolutely LOVED his turkey and sweet potato selection. He is the pickiest pup but ATE THIS UPPPP!! The only downside is the price.. spot and tango is so expensive at $80/bag.. 😞😞 it’ll have to be more of an occasional treat/meal than a regular one.. 😞😞

been feeding my schnauzer this for years. he eats an array of their fresh packed food and used to love it. starting around Christmas our shipment was behind and when we finally received it the food looked so different. we thought maybe it was an off month until the next months shipment came in. same thing all the packages of food looked different. instead of fresh food it looked like cat food and had a weird smell and honestly concerned me to feed him. a couple months go by of it looking like this and we regrettably fed it to him. after a while of eating it my dog turns very very sick and will not touch the spot and tango food he used to love. he would eat food we made for him however. we reach out to the company and after spending hours on hold we finally got a hold of someone who told us they are now cooking their food in plastic. who knows what type of crap is getting leached into his food. and the fact that we weren’t notified of this change is crazy. my dogs food had gotten more expensive but the quality of the food has gone down immensely. would never recommend them. before this incident they started shorting my dogs food packages and we had to send them pictures of it weighed out on a scale to prove they were scamming us by noticeable amounts. stay away at all costs. advocate for your dog because this company does not care about them!
