The Spirit Warehouse is a spin off company of The Little Whisky Shop (our sister company) taking the burden of online sales from the shop so the shop can concentrate on serving the loyal local customers and the Spirit Warehouse concentrate on serving our loyal and new online customers. Both companies are small independent specialists, dealing in whisky and other craft spirits, including gin, rum, and vodka. We believe in offering the best value we can and are exceptionally competitive competing with the biggest online retails despite them being able to give away in promotions more than we turnover every year! Both companies, owned and run by the same people, pride themselves in giving the best advice they can and making your purchase as easy as possible. Delivery Issues
The product was fine. I was very disappointed that the store used the royal mail to send the goods during strike action instead of using another delivery service. The present was not received in time for Christmas.

Thank you for taking the time to review us, and apologies that the bottle did not make it to you in time for Christmas, however I do not think it is fair to mark us down for your purchase not arriving in time. We have a contract with Royal Mail and Parcelforce for our deliveries as is made very clear when purchasing. We also posted a warning message on the site stating deliveries may be delayed and may not make it before Christmas. You were therefore more than aware of the risks before you made the purchase. We have absolutely no control over the parcels once they leave us and were reassured by Royal Mail that Tracked 48 and 24 parcels would be prioritised for delivery. It is now clear that this was not the case in some circumstances, but in others they were delivered in 24/48 hours as normal despite the strikes.
We did look at using other couriers when we discovered there were some issues, but they either do not allow alcohol to be sent without a contract in place (and there was not enough time to set one up) or charged significanty more, many more than double the cost of RM and many were having similar issues with delays due to excess parcels.
Again please accept our apologies, but as a very small company there was nothing within our powers we could do so close to Christmas to make sure your parcel arrived in time.

Whiskey gift set
The delivery and attention to the safe packaging of my product were exceptional. The hand signed information card inside was a real surprise and showed a wonderful level of care about the customer most high street shops/distributors miss these days. I will be recommending the sellers to all my friends.

Great selection of spirits! I bought a bottle that was very difficult to obtain from other companies! It was successfully sent and delivered during postal strikes and busy times. Because of this a backlog was caused, again due to the delivery company. They showed great patience with the situation! Very easy to get hold of them and to communicate with. I will definitely buy from them again! Thank you!

I visited the shop in Stockbridge and was amazed how many different spirits there were, compared with a Supermarket, prices are reasonable aswell. Recently I looked at the website and found for a small fee I could have bottles delivered. Great choice Great prices and a speedy delivery, Thanks.
