I've been using SpinupWP for over 3 years and absolutely love it. In that period of time they have added numerous features and the support is fantastic! Delicious Brains is rocking it!!

I have reached out to support multiple times, and they respond quickly (even when I wasn't supposed to get priority support). A couple of times, Brad (the founder) even followed up on the support with additional questions or context, which he just did the other day when I asked about the backups feature. This is how you run an organization. Keep up the good work, Brad. You and your team are awesome!

I've been using spinupwp for over three years now and I have to say it has been a blinding piece of software so far. I've gone from hosting around 25 sites to over 90 now and it's been a fairly fault free experience. I have made a few modifications to my servers to cope with the increase in site numbers but other than that it works really well. If you do have a large number of sites then I would recommend adjusting the CRON times on all the sites from the default of one minute to 10/15 minutes as this will make a huge difference to your server performance. When i have had to contact the support team they've always been super helpful and I'm not on any paid support. One last thing to add, they seem to be active on making good improvements to the app as well, which is refreshing to see. Looking forward to seeing what comes up next!!

However, after thoroughly testing it, my experience leads me to conclude that these claims are misleading and far from reality. Below, I will share my impressions about this service and the reasons why I cannot recommend it.

One of SpinupWP's main promises is the ability to customize VPS configurations according to individual needs. However, I found that, regardless of the VPS capacity chosen, the configuration features are nearly the same. Key elements such as the number of PHP and MySQL connections, as well as PHP memory, seem to be set to standard values, contradicting the notion of flexibility and customization that is advertised.

Support is another critical aspect in any hosting service, and this is where SpinupWP fails miserably. Despite facing issues and difficulties while using their platform, I encountered that the provided support was unsatisfactory. On several occasions, when seeking help to resolve problems, I received responses indicating that they do not offer support for certain issues or situations. This creates a frustrating and discouraging experience for users who rely on getting assistance when they need it most.

The claimed compatibility with various content management systems (CMS), such as October and Statamic, was another factor that motivated me to try SpinupWP. However, my experience when attempting to run these CMS was disastrous. Instead of receiving the necessary help and guidance to overcome the issues, I found myself in a situation where problems persisted and the lack of support was evident.

In comparison to alternatives like Forge or Ploi, SpinupWP simply does not live up to expectations. In services like Forge and Ploi, the experience is seamless, and support teams are willing to provide guidance and effectively solve issues. This difference becomes even more noticeable when contrasted with the difficulties and lack of support I experienced with SpinupWP.

In summary, based on my negative experience, I cannot recommend SpinupWP as a reliable solution for VPS management and running diverse content management systems. The promises of customization and support turned out to be false, resulting in an unsatisfactory overall experience. For those seeking a dependable service with strong support, Forge and Ploi are much more recommended options.

Excellent hosting service when paired with Digital Ocean. I’m not a developer so I decided to switch hosting providers recently, but it was hard to say goodbye. The customer service is incredible. The dashboard is clean and easy to navigate (even for someone with no technical expertise like myself). If you’re developer, I’d go with SpinupWP because of the incredible performance it will offer your site and that it’s extremely cheap.

If you’re at least mildly comfortable with using the command line, and you value customization and low-cost hosting options that you can scale to suit your needs, You’re going to want to check out SpinupWP.

Previously, I had also tried premium hosters like Kinsta, but always had to struggle with performance issues due to their shared resources.

Since I started using SpinupWP in combination with Hetzner servers, my websites run flawlessly.

The interface is simply designed, beautifully implemented and offers all the options I need.

Lets say I have 10 servers. This math applied below is for 10 Servers under their plans lets say.

$12 - personal account monthly
$5per a server x 9 servers = $45 additional dollars as the account comes with one free server before an additional 5$ a server kicks in
Total = $45(for all servers) + $12 (for personal account plan) = $57/month

$39 - team account plan monthly
$7per a server x 7 servers = $49 additional dollars as the account plan comes with 3 free servers before an additional 7$ a server kicks in
Total = $49(for all servers) + $39 (for team account plan) = $88/month

Now that I posted this to make the public aware they asked trustpilot to now have me send my personal information lol SpinUpWP I'm not sending you my personal information so you can ban me I know how these sneaky games work and everything is recorded and documented and screenshots that I do like this edit on my review for say before and after also screenshots of your pricing before just in case you tried to call me a lier and change it without anyone noticing or thinking they wouldn't lol, Also I believe and have the right to privacy online as a user on the internet same as I would if you owned a store./company that I could physically walk into if you were to ask my for my personal info and I declined then I could be declined service depending on what your service was that you are selling but this is a third party company I'm using to post a review on how your pricing is scammy and now you feel its okay to request trustpilot to have them ask me for my personal information on your behalf so what you can ban me from spinupwp tough beans mates don't know who I am that's on you.

I have beenwith SpinupWP and I can tell I love the app interface and the constant update of the service for better usage.

I’ve been really impressed with SpinupWP! I migrated one site to test it out and the process was so simple that I went ahead and migrated another 7 the next day. The setup improved our site speed and support has been fast to answer.

The idea is great, the UX is great, the features are... well, buggy. It's a beautiful alpha with a long way to go before it's stable.

SpinupWP is relatively cheap. However, bugs can cost you a fortune, so take that into account when you look at that slightly more expensive competitor. A la: Developers who can't work, since they can't run vital commands with sudo from their, tada, sudo user (because the "reset sudo password" feature doesn't work properly, for instance).

Support is so-so and quite slow.

If you want managed hosting, you can find some very good hosts, but they often come with a high price.

If you want to manage yourself, it can be hit and miss. Often there are unforeseen challenges. But you can save money in the long run if you don't succumb to all the pitfalls.

There is a middle place, which is called SpinupWP. You choose your own, cost effective bare-metal infrastructure, and SpinupWP provides the interface.

It uses all the modern best practices. It keeps getting better all the time. These guys care about a good product and they know what they are doing. I can't fault them.

Many times for hosting WordPress, I do like to have a little more control under my keyboard so I "do it myself" using the powerful (and more complicated) tools at Roots.io, but for those simple sites that don't justify this approach, I often fall back on SpinupWP which is a beautiful tool. It takes the pain out of hosting on bare metal.
