This website is simple to use and keep track of student progress, games are enjoyable for kids but keep the focus on spelling, and the customer service is great. I've been homeschooling for a decade and spent years teaching in public schools. This is one my favorite resources for spelling practice that is easy on mom.

Customer service is great! Jason answered my questions the same day and was very helpful. We love the program so far. It's just what I was looking for to test Fry sight words.

Spelling Test Buddy has all that I need for a great spelling program. It makes it easy to individualize. I am also impressed with the quick feedback I receive for any questions.

I'm a 2nd grade teacher and I was struggling to create spelling practice activities because it takes time and it's more papers to check. I also wanted something that would read the word aloud to students so when I came across this, I absolutely loved it. All I have to do is quickly type in my words and it will make different ways to practice. What I love about it is that it reads the word, kids can hear it in a sentence (that I didn't have to create), they can play games with the words, they can take practice tests, and the immediate feedback it provides for them. My students are loving it and I'm seeing their scores improve on spelling tests.

I asked Copilot AI to help me find a site on which I could upload my spelling words, and the words could be converted into audio for students who were absent on spelling test days. Having to take the time to give one student a spelling test interferes with my ability to work with my students during small-group time, and I have some who skip out regularly on Fridays. Spelling Test Buddy fit the bill. Not only did it convert my words into audio, but as a bonus, my students now have more practice games (I create others on Quia.com), and on STB, they can even take practice tests. Love the site so much I opted for the upgrade at just $40/year. Thanks, STB!

Not only that, the creator(s) has been extremely responsive to my questions and requests. The program is easy to use and get started; I haven't had any issues with the site's pronunciation and sentences of our words at all.

This app and company are top notch! I am currently working with my boys to study for UIL Spelling competition and this app is a LIFE SAVER!! It is making easy work of the 600 words, and absolutely is affordable. They have been so quick to answer my questions about the app and what is available. The app is easy to use, incredibly user friendly.

This program is easy to use and fun to share. I am a mom of 7 but have 3 in school. I don't always have the time to read out the spelling words to test her. This allows her a sense of independence as well as myself and allows me to see which words we need to focus on and she was excited to use the program! I loved that it called out the words and had a sentence option!!

This program has saved my sanity! Now I don't have to worry about bad handwriting or grading! The spreadsheet report and individual spelling reports to send home are FABULOUS!!!

My students can now efficiently take spelling tests, which allows them to independently move on to other learning experiences. In addition, students can listen to the words and example sentences as many times as needed.

Jason, the creator of Spelling Test Buddy, appreciates teacher input and is constantly looking for ways to improve the teacher/parent and student experience. In less than a week, he brought my idea (adding a CSV to the reports page) to life, which will help me batch import test grades! I highly suggest implementing Spelling Test Buddy if you want a new powerful way to supplement spelling time.

Easy to make lists and engaging for students. I love how you can choose the accent, so it doesn't need to be American if you're outside of America.
