False advertisement on the German website
I recently ordered a swimsuit from the German version of the Speedo website. Right there in big letters, the site advertises "Free Returns." However, this is incredibly misleading. If you live outside the UK, returns are absolutely NOT free.
Because Speedo apparently doesn't have any warehouses within the EU, I had to ship my return back to the UK. It ended up costing me 31 Euros just to return a single swimsuit!
It feels like blatant false advertising to claim "Free Returns" on a localized German website when they don't bother to update their policies for EU customers. Due to these extreme return rates, it is practically useless to buy directly from their website if you live in the EU. I definitely won't be ordering from them again. Save yourself the money and buy from a local retailer instead.

They said there was a 25% discount on swimwear which sounded a good offer, until I realised on checkout, they slammed on a charge of £5.99 postage on what would be a very small light package! Bit of a con really.
Absolute junk
Absolute junk. Jammers rip, loose shape and/or come apart at the seams after very minimal use. Product quality is utter junk. Customer service is possibly even worse, in my experience service is non-existent and staff are utterly incompetent.
ridiculous return fees
bought a swimsuit, which had the worst fit, and got charged 5.99 return fees.
Not really fair since the item you are selling cannot possibly fit a normal person of size 38, and the top, which is made for elephant-sized breasts

Zero stars would be a compliment to their customer service
Zero stars would be a compliment to their customer service team. I bought 4 items, returned 3 via their portal. Contacted their “customer service team” which feels an ironic name and there is no customer service basically. I provided them with the email they sent me showing they have only refunded two of the three items. Their first response: Please provide your tracking number (they’d already emailed me telling me they’d received my parcel back). 2nd response: We have refunded two items (yes I have already told you that and therein lies the issue). 3rd response - lets see. I assume they outsource this task as I also had a technical query regarding some fins and that took 4 responses for the person to actually read my email and look at the photo I had sent. Frustrating and I would suggest if you really want a Speedo product buy it elsewhere to save the chance you ever have to deal with this team. Awful
Poor quality swim suit - lasted 1 month

ONE MONTH later and half the back is completely see through - check the label and it says it’s hand wash only…. Sorry a swim suit that’s for use in a public pool/ sauna / jacuzzi is hand wash only - never seen this in my life. Recipe for a bacterial infection if ever I saw one. Product testing team reports - our products a load of rubbish and can’t handle being washed - sales team, no bother, just put hand wash only on the label and when someone washes it we’re covered.

Ordered goggles for a swim meet - still not here 2 weeks later, missed meet. Apparently damaged in transit by Evri. Poor, unapologetic customer service, with no rush to resend order. Blunt responses - suspect AI. Avoid.
Wow - worst resturns / customer service experience
I bought a costume from Speedo (similar to one I already had) last year. Having worn it about 20 times (max) the lycra went, and it went all baggy. I contacted customer services (via their site - not a great process, you have to log in and disable cookies to respond to anything) and requested an exchange or refund. They asked for photos (fair enough) which I sent. Then asked for more photos showing the full costume (weird, especially as they can see the actual costume I bought on my records) but I sent those too. Then referred to the "Quality" team with a month-long question-and-answer about how much I've worn the costume, how did I wash it, how did I clean it, how did I dry it, how many times had I washed it. Every time I responded, I had to chase for answers. This was then referred to the "Product Specialist" team.
I then complained about the "Customer Service" who asked me to send the costume back (why not just ask that in the first place??) and then - after me chasing again - finally agreed to refund me. So, here we are, 6 weeks and *23* messages later and I finally get my refund.
Worst customer service I've ever had, so I'll be buying from Zoggs or TYR next time.

Very slow returns. Ironic, considering their retail name. Meanwhile, they are conveniently sitting on my money in THIER bank account.

My son got a pair of pricey Google's for Christmas. After no more than 5hrs of use they have failed. Despite being interchangeable, it urns out that the perishable component isn't one that can be purchased as a separate item. Furthermore, when addressing the issue with Speedo, they simply don't care. Unethical, environmentally irresponsible and massively disappointing. Time to move on to a different brand
Poor quality products
I would give this company for the quality of their products and their customer service zero but am not able. I would not advise anyone to buy a swimsuit from them.
I bought a swimsuit and have used it about 40 times, it has started to deteriorate in patches and is unwearable.i sent photos of the damage. The swimsuit had a long last treatment Lycra at extra life. This seems of little use as speedo have told me that my swimsuit is damaged due to normal wear and tear. I was asked how I had washed it and told them I had followed the instructions on the swimsuit. It seems to me that they had already made up their decision when I first contacted them.
They are not offering a replacement or refund.
These products are not cheap and I would expect better. I think that the company should make it clearer how long they expect their items to last.
I will not be buying from this company again and suggest you do not waste your money on them either.

very poor service
I'm still waiting for the product trhat I've bought 20 days ago! It seems that they didn't advise the forwarder agent about my correct address, the package seems to be stuck somewhere and they do not assist! They keep saying "thanks for your e mail, we'll let you know".

Product never received. I contacted them 3 times to say there was a problem with the shipping according to their tracking info and was told to call back twice. I was told there was plenty of stock so no problem to wait another day. On the 3rd call, they said the item had sold out and the only alternative was triple the price.
Poor customer service- wrong size
Poor customer service- they shipped the wrong size products, my order was for size 30 but I received size 28&26 instead. I called, sent messages and asked for the replacement items but despite numerous messages and chats instead of replacing the items returned they just sent me an email saying they refunded me. This is beyond incompetence. I bought the items when they had an offer and I expected to receive what I ordered and paid for.
Poor service
Poor service. Evri managed to lose my delivery twice which is bad enough. But the second time I was told their courier team would chase what had happened. It wasn’t until I called again that I finally got an explanation. Offer £5 compensation to buy products that will get lost, again.
I will never order anything from Speedo again
Speedo has the worst and rudest customer service. I wanted to add an extra item to an order (£50+) that hasn't even yet shipped but received a very unhelpful standard reply about their returns policy. I explained that my query is not related to returns, but the customer rep won't listen.
When I asked to talk to a supervisor or the customer complaints team on the phone, they dismissed my request.
I regularly purchase Speedo products for my family from Amazon, but I have never bought them directly from Speedo. I should have continued to do so. What a mistake!
