Specialist Leak Detection Anmeldelser

A survey was conducted recently. The company arrived as scheduled, were very professional and conducted a thorough investigation, identifying the source of leaking from the boiler. I am very happy to recommend

Really impressed with their work! They found the leak fast, explained everything clearly, and were super professional. Would definitely use them again.

I experienced a leak on my heating system and contacted Specialist Leak Detection. They provided a date of attendance quickly and the booking process was easy. The engineer attended within 48hrs, and carried out a variety of detection methods and discovered the leak quickly. He was very thorough and I would recommend their services to anyone.

Great company, highly recommended if you need to find out where your leaks are coming from! Prompt service, follow up, communication and report.

The engineer was polite and friendly, and seemed very knowledgeable. Based on what I observed, he seemed to know what he was doing, and was thorough. He was happy to answer all my questions, and communicated well. Overall, and with the caveat that I don't have any technical knowledge, but he seemed to do a really good job and I'm glad we chose this company.

John at Specialist Leak Detection was very helpful in detecting the leak and putting our mind at ease. Highly recommend.

They did great job, very fast and professional. Price is so good.

Had a leak in my boat resulting in a huge amount of water under the floor. Tyler reviewed everything he possibly could . After exhausting all eventualities, we both feared the leak would not be found. But he checked one last area, found a disconnected waste pipe and provided a repair efficiently. Result and high five.

Tyler came to fix my leak today he was polite and found the leak very quickly. He worked quickly and kept me informed at every stage. Would highly recommend and would definitely use in future

Absolutely brilliant, Tyler arrived on time and went through all aspects of leak checks on our property including water meters, mains, boiler, pressures valves on heating etc. very professional and thorough, and very polite. Very happy and satisfied with the service. Thank you !

After experiencing a very bad leak somewhere under the bathroom floor I called Specialist Leak Detection to help me find out where it was. A young man came called Tyler who was very competent and reassuring which helped as it turned out to be a big gushing of water not a leak as such and calmly got on with fixing the issue for me. Even having to take the toilet out to get to the site with no hesitation at all. He took photos of everything he did and made remarks underneath each photo which has made it easier for my insurance claim.
He also heard more noise after fixing the main leak and suggested it could be the main water pipe leaking as it was all joined along the drive and was right I had a team in to dig up the drive and lay a new mains pipe all done very quickly and efficiently and reinstated to perfection as it was block paving. I am extremely happy with the professionalism of this Company and would highly recommend them.

I am really happy with the service provided by SLD. Their quote for non invasive leak detection was better than local firms. The engineer completed 5 different tests to locate the leak. I would use this company again.

EDIT in response to reply from SLD below: I am beyond words at how far their lies go. My home is a Grade II listed building, and I hired a professional bathroom fitter who came highly recommended. Their false claim that my bathroom was fitted by a “bedroom fitter" is yet another example of their unprofessionalism and willingness to misrepresent facts to shift blame.

The one star reviews sound accurate with what I'm currently experiencing - rude, unprofessional and gaslighting manager. Paid high fees for them to identify and repair a small ongoing leak which, not only did they fail to find, they made worse. Water now POURS into my downstairs neighbour's flat if the shower is just switched on due to, what has now been found, to be a cracked shower tray.
The bathroom was not touched by anyone other than their fitter after their initial inspection yet they are claiming that we must have damaged it ourselves. I understand that things don't always go right the first time but what really matters
is how a company responds in such stressful situations.
Instead of taking responsibility, they are refusing to refund the failed repair costs, which I will now be pursuing through the small claims court.
If your job is straightforward, you likely won't see this side of them - but if it isn't, you risk being left with more damage, higher costs and little support.

In response to the owner’s reply on Google: The account they have given contradicts what actually happened. During the visit, the fitter confirmed that the waste did not require repairing. The tiles were lifted, inspected, and I was told everything looked fine, apart from the silicone which was re-applied — which cost £1,740 (plus an additional £684 for the initial inspection). No mention was made of a cracked tray or misaligned waste at that time. Despite this, the leak continued and immediately worsened.

I have been charged almost £2,500 for work that did not identify or fix the issue, and am being asked to pay more for further work to resolve what should have been addressed in the first place.

PLEASE read the 1 star reviews and note the warning on Trustpilot.

Tyler was very experienced, professional, passionate and attentive to his work. Great pre diagnosis support.

John was very professional and informative person I have come across, very friendly and knowledgeable

Tyler attended our property and identified the cause of the leak and had it fixed very quickly. He was friendly and kept me informed of the process, such as inviting me to view the screen of the camera used to identify the issue, as well as the breakdown of costs. I would recommend to this business.

Outstanding Service!
Specialist Leak Detection was amazing from start to finish. They quickly found a hidden leak that other plumbers missed, using advanced tools with no damage to our home. The technician was professional, honest, and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend if you want fast, accurate, and trustworthy service!

The company was polite, efficient and highly professional at all stages. The engineer visited the same day as we called and surpassed all expectations. He was obviously extremely well trained and professional, resolved the problem and importantly to me was very well mannered.
Pricing is very fair and competetive.

The company were upfront honest, I called a few places and the cost varied vastly, up to couple of thousand.
Victoria and the boys on phone very reassuring.
Kept me informed and a great young man Tyler attended.
He was so thorough and kept me informed throughout, diligent polite and took effort with his investigation.

Great experience! They quickly found a hidden leak using advanced equipment and saved us from major damage. Professional, on time, and very knowledgeable.
