Awful. Council act with impunity and without a mandate. Dulwich Village LTN and CPZs borough wide. How can they act without proper and due consultation? Regardless of policy, such underhand and unconstitutional practice should not be allowed

Southwark council have a history of inaction that often results in a lack of care and wellbeing for their tenants and leaseholders.

Their way of responding to issues is to ignore them, I have had 3 issues with them in the last 18 months, and have had no resolution to any of them. Yet the service charge has increased twofold in the last 2 years.

The latest debacle is a letter received this week that bascally said, "We couldn't be bothered to renew your building insurance, so have gone with whatever and it is going to be very expensive and you will have to pay"

With no care or consideration for the people that live in the borough, they should be investigated into how they can actively run a borough.

What is more annoying is that no complaints are taken seriously, the obudsman is not interested, so we have no say, no fightback, we just have to deal with whatever errors happen through their inaction.

They deserve less than 1 star. They couldn't care less about their vulnerable tenants or peoples living conditions. Our home has been left in disrepair for many years. They finally came to do some repairs and left it half done with tiles ripped off and plaster crumbling from the walls. We're expected to continue living like this as we can't get hold of anyone to resolve it. even with the state of the house meaning my sick mum cant care for herself. I've done everything I can to reach out to different people in the council and it's impossible to even get a call back or appointment. Absolutely appalling, and the lack of care for people and property conditions is inexcusable. Doesn't seem to matter how many complaints you raise either, they'll happily leave vulnerable people to rot in subpar living conditions.

Live Room window. Jobs are not completed and they rush off to their next job making promises they cant keep. And it looks an eyesore. Not even been measured up right. The sides were left and told they would be done. And when phone repairs, can be waiting an hour before any answer, emails takes a week for replies or longer. Housing officer never returns messages you leave and seems none existent.

Repairs lines are under staffed - hold times of up to 50+ minutes. Repairs reports are not action, homes left in state of disrepair. Housing list staff are invisible, there is no one to speak to in housing list except call centre staff who are not in a position to help tenants - 30 days wait for staff to respond to emails. I swear these department only has 2 staff working between them.
Southwark Council is an absolute shambles NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one is answering the phone on the repairs line. I am actually on the phone from 30 minutes and no one answering is anyone working there at all?

Awful is not even the worst they are just making are live harder by making us run and round in circles trying to get basic services! Almost a year try for assistance for chronic illness person adapting to been done! All been delayed by a check box! She could die by time someone just picks up the phone and try’s pushing it harder to fix the mistake

No duty of care dismal service No heating or hot water since 10/12023. They don’t answer the complaints line never they don’t answer emails only an automated reply totally inadequate service. Dismal performance as a social housing tenant I can say Southwark council along with smith and byford have failed miserably they have left me and my child without hot water or heating since above date every one seems to pass the Buck and blame the other but as Southwark is my landlord I believe they have a duty of care towards the tenants in this case none has been provided missed appointments poor excuses deflecting tactics all I would like is to have a working boiler so I can have some heating and hot water

if i could give them 0 star review i would. they never answer there phones and when they do they either direct you to a department that never picks up or will hung up on you, send them an email and theyll tell you they cant help you and will direct you to a number that doesnt help in that issue you need help with just going round in circles. if these people dont like their jobs go find another job. southwark council is absoluty disgusting. ive been going round and round in circles for the past week.

Been out of heating and hot water for 3 days in middle of winter. I have been waiting for engineer for 2 days meaning I can't go out to buy anything. My kids nose bleeding and my walls are wet. Very useless council

I've been a homeowner for 17 years and have the right to say that nothing good has come out of Southwark!......Unfortunately....

Can't get hold of any councillors or any department phone numbers when you want to complain about a problem,but Southwark Council is so quick to send out bills when they want money!!
Like everything with this Council your paying for no service,money for old rope!

I keep getting threatening messages from Southwark Council (parking services) about two penalty charges, even though I have made the payments and have sent them proof! Seriously need to think about who they give contracts out to! Totally incompetent!

£14 an hour to use the tennis court in Southwark park. 😂👍 great to see Southwark council are promoting health and well-being. 😉

this Borough is the worst when it comes to Customer services. everyone is working from home and yet 15 minutes on hold and can't speak to anyone . What's the point ??? answer the calls and stop watching Netflix

sending me letters late so the date of the letter will be 10days past the response time also not paying me the tax rebate and singling me out they don't take my complaints seriously and the staff that do repairs they bodge job them

This organisation doesn't deserve any stars your repairs team is a joke and you have no idea what customer service is.

Crooked coruped service Faziz shaikh is a bully like two in tempory accamdation these people abuse you mentally don't do repairs they're freinds nation wide letting agency Ltd. Who are trying steal my belongings they tell you three days to move they lock.ghe property where your stuff is so you can't it .Can you not buy your own things with your dirty money that you get for dissecting poor people they have no respect for the dead they're ungodly people crooked unkind selfish humans .How would you feel if ghe council and this agency abused your daughters and mother who.feels knows it.
