Scam and not UK based. Item received damaged and told it needs to be shipped back to Hong Kong at a cost of £35 to myself and if the get stopped in customs I won’t receive a refund.

Zero stars, complete scam and unprofessional. The product is a joke, the refund policy is unethical, and customer service is nonexistent. If you want to throw away $90, feel free to order, but you will get nothing for the price.

This company is a SCAM. Sent 2 useless bits of plastic in place of $159 earbuds and as everyone else is saying, you can’t get a refund. Tried disputing it through my credit card and they can’t/won’t help getting my money back either. Wish I’d read these reviews first.

Bought these 'luxury' sleep ear buds hoping to help my tinnitus at night, and paid £10 for 'express delivery'.
Shipping was from China, not UK, and took 2 weeks.
The earbuds were unbranded, VERY low quality, contained nothing to custom fit to your ear, they just fall out if you tilt your head. Plus no volume at all. Not worth £5, let alone £90 !!!

I bought my partner a telescope for Christmas after seeing it advertised as the best telescope of 2025 on another website (in hindsight this was also clearly misleading).

The first red flag was that the company offered 10% off the first order for anyone who signed up to their newsletter. I did this but did not get the discount so emailed customer support to have 10% refunded. They claimed the discount had already been added on, even though I paid the same price as was originally advertised. This prompted me to look into the company where I found a plethora of terrible reviews.

I tried to cancel the order and was told I couldn't as it had already shipped. I waited for it to arrive and when it did it was a children's plastic toy telescope in a very battered unbranded box. I had seen a similar version in Smyth's toys for about £25 whereas I paid £169.

On unboxing the item a few days later I found the telescope was actually damaged in that the lens was chipped.

I immediately contacted the company again demanding a full refund and stating my legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. To date they are still refusing to refund me and maintaining that they can only offer a partial refund, a replacement lens or I can return the item at a cost of around £35 as the return address is in China.

I have had no choice but to escalate the matter further to retrieve my money. The transaction is currently under dispute pending further legal action, and I will be pushing for further compensation.

Scam they are not uk based they are in Honkong. The telescope they sent me is not an adult telescope and you can buy it from amazon for £25-30. It’s not made by them they have just bought a cheap item and shipped it out, they then charge you 15% to return it and you have to pay around £35 shipping. Luckily I used a credit card to buy mine, Don’t use this company it is not legitimate,

I purchased a telescope advertised as a “professional telescope” for £190. What arrived was a toy-grade telescope, identical to products sold online for around £40, and completely unsuitable for serious astronomical use.

When I contacted the seller for a refund due to the item being not as described, they:
• Offered to refund only 5% while I keep the item
• Then insisted I return it to China at my own cost
• Stated a 15% handling fee would be deducted
• Warned that no refund would be issued if the parcel was delayed or held by customs

These conditions make returning a misrepresented item extremely difficult and appear designed to discourage refunds.

After reading other reviews, it’s clear this is not an isolated experience. Many customers report receiving the same low-quality telescope while it is marketed as a professional product.

I would strongly advise others to avoid this seller and purchase from a reputable retailer with transparent descriptions and fair refund policies.

China even though they claim to be in the uk) with no branding just cheap. Company also does not respond to emails. Should have checked trust pilot

The picture of the Telescope did not match the actual in anyway shape or form the telescope is a Toy , paid $350 for a $30 telescope . It’s a scam

Well, haven't read the reviews, before I done the purchase. My bad- But here it comes. I came to a review best telescope 2025 on google and sonora was rated a+. So I went on the page brought it. After I purchased the item I digged in researched. I found many people complaining. So I decided to cancel my order within 14 min. The policy saying I have 24 hrs to cancel. If the item has been posted and can be traced a charge of 20% of handling fee will apply. If you refuse the item or not collecting the item it cost £50. Return £25. So I cancelled via email. Next morning 12 hours later, I received an email item dispatched. Me no--- but I wrote to cancel. So another email was send. Stating ignoring. I received approx 20 minutes later an email, they will trace the item. And the email I wrote in the evening same text same name same saying came an answer 2 minutes later. So it means I have to pay 20% or it's gets delivered, I presume it will get delivered and no way the company does trace the item and cancel the order. I believe it does not matter not receiving full refund even cancelled Minutes after purchase. Its looks like a scammer company and. Awaiting outcome. Not happy at all. Just avoid.

I fell for this comapny as well, I expected a nice neat little telescope but a beaten up cheap box arrived 2 weeks after I ordered with a plastic product in it too cheap to do anything useful with. I have been trying to get a return address out of the company for the past 5 days now. I have just reveived it but they also claim that return postage needs to be covered this end and that they charge a 15% handling fee and returns will take a month to be processed. They will not clear anything that gets stuck in customs either. Stay away! I will be trying to claim my money back through the credit card company I bought it with.

Don’t touch this company. Wish I had read all the bad reviews before I made my purchase. I bought tripod to go with my scope and when it arrived it’s a tiny mini one not fit for purpose with a scope of that size. When I asked for a refund I was told they would refund 3% and i keep it, or send it back to Hong Kong at a cost of £35 shipping to me which is more than the tripod cost! Complete con.

Claim to be a company from the UK, only to send generic and cheaply made headphones which you can find on Temu for $16. Terrible customer service, offering a 3 percent refund. Avoid

They sold me a telescope for €218 that was worth less than€50. I was expecting a large telescope to arrive. I got a small box packaged only in a bag as well. It looked like something you would buy in Smyths Toys store. Poor poor customer service as well. A shame of a company. Stay well clear!

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS FRAUDULENT WEBSITE . It’s cheep plastic crap from china , a toy probably cost about £10. Bought it for my son for Xmas waited over 8 days knew something was wrong when I didn’t get any reply to my email . I paid £170.00 for a bit of plastic.

Absolutely do not buy!! Scam website. They get their products from Temu, the exact same brand of telescope they are selling is the F30070M, which is available on Temu for 1/4 the price and also available from Amazon for half the price. Shipping takes weeks, and it is not a UK company.

Complete scam avoid at all cost ordered a A telescope from a UK based email address, which it definitely isn’t it. It’s China paid for express delivery Which never happened. Turned up two weeks later sent emails got no response. It arrived yesterday in terrible packaging no protection at all and it’s Definitely not as described Or pictured. It’s a cheap tacky toy telescope, which can be bought on eBay for £20 and less on eBay for the one they sent I paid £180 It’s absolutely ridiculous. I am not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but this is a coincidence that I had a phone call making out it was from my bank they knew all my details a week after I paid for this online again that was a scam, but please be careful because the information that this Company holds God knows what they’re up to. It’s very sad that you can’t even buy a Christmas present for somebody with your hard earned cash and there are people and companies like this to send you fake goods. If anyone else gets a phone call from the bank, even though they know your card details and email address address and full name. Please be careful of this company if you have used them They sound very convincing I had to call my bank to freeze my cards. Very sad and disappointed that this was a Christmas present that you said sadly couldn’t give. This company has probably already closed down if it doesn’t I hope somebody does it quickly to prevent any more scams.

Making A chargeback.

I purchased a telescope as a Christmas gift from Sonora, and what I received was not what was advertised. What arrived was T70030M which, if Googled can be purchased for less that $60 on local sites. This product is shipped out of Hong Kong which arrived several days after Christmas and, after reaching out to them for a refund, they stated they could provide the following:
1.A refund of 3% of your order value while keeping the product.
2.Return the item for a refund, with the following conditions:
You will be responsible for ALL shipping costs (both initial delivery and return shipping to Hong Kong)
A 15% handling fee will be deducted from the refund
The return process takes approximately one month
Return shipping costs are approximately £35 (please check with your local post office for exact rates)
You must provide tracking information
Refund will be processed after we receive the item
Please note: If the international package is held by customs and cannot be cleared, we will be unable to process any refund as we have not received the returned item

I am deeply disappointed in this company and the overall experience I had with them.
