Refreshing to find people who are enthusiastic about their product and have created a barbeque of real quality.

Grill arrived on time and fully erected. It's been marvellous, and despite the poor weather this summer, I have been able to use it most days. The food cooked on it is just amazingly tasty

Great service, great product

Loving my Asado. Super high quality, and perfectly balanced for a great cook. Ordering and delivery excellent. I had one small issue with it which, in the sign of really great service, was rectified by the next day.

I don't know what to praise first - the customer service, or the product itself.

Firstly, the service. Ben must have been sick of me by the time I finally placed my order. I had been back and forth with him for well over a year - and he answered every question I had promptly and in a friendly manner. This is a small family-run business and it shows; it's a level of customer service that is hard to find. It filled me with confidence about the actual product.

I opted for the Corten Asado Grill, with the essential accessories and the Corten Woodstore Stand. If you are debating whether to go Corten or not, let me tell you that it's a thing of beauty. It takes centre stage in my garden and I never tire of looking at it.

The grill is very well made. It's solid, chunky and does everything it sets out to do. I love the accessories but I've not gotten around to using them all just yet because I've been trying to master the basics. I considered myself to be pretty good at BBQing on a kettle BBQ, but this is a whole different ball game and there is a bit of a learning curve. Cooking with wood VS charcoal is quite a bit different... But don't let that put you off!

If I'm being honest, my first cook was a bit of a disaster. My logs were too big and my ambitions were too high. The second cook was a lot more successful and filled me with more confidence. If you don't have a log splitter, you will probably want one. Things got a whole lot easier when my wood was cut smaller. It meant that it burnt down into cooking embers a lot quicker. You also have to be prepared to keep a constant supply of wood burning in the back; but that's not really an issue once you know!

Cooking on the Asado is an event. I've entertained a few times with it now and people gather around. They are interested in what is going on. They like to be near the fire and they don't take the food for granted. You have to be prepared to be hands on with the cook - managing the fire, raking the embers, controlling the temperature; it's a job, but it's a very rewarding one. There will be no shortage of volunteers to help you with the cook - my teenage daughter loves chopping wood and keeping the Asado topped up with fuel.

There is so much more to talk about, I've barely scratched the surface. If like me you're lurking on the website, stalking their socials and debating whether to take the plunge let me reassure you; it's the best thing I've bought in a long time and I think it will provide me with decades of enjoyment.
