Bought a car early april 2026, Was really happy with the way it looked but had a few dents and scratches but interior was perfect. The seller was cold and wasnt bothered if he sold the car or not. I had done my due dilligence about this car as it had been on autotrader and Motors website for a few weeks. I bough it paid cash and drove off after taxing and insuring it. as i drove off i noticed the tyre pressure light was on and he told me to put more air in, I didnt as the tyres seemed extremly pumped up. I got home checked the tyres and they were over inflated by 20psi they should of been at 33psi but were all at 53psi, I also noticed that the interia mirror was cracked and scratched and couldnt see anyone behind me. These things werent pointed out nor did i notice them. Luckily i have fixed and replaced both problems by replaceing the mirror off ebay and also replacing a TMPS in the rear tyre. Anyway its been nearly 2 months and i havent got my V5. I have message the seller several times and they havent bothered to get back to me. It seems once they have the money and the car is gone they dont give a ####. I wont ever recomend them just for there customer service alone. Another thing is they advertised it as free delivery but was told they no longer do delivery which was rubbish as it was advertised as free delivery within a certain mile range on my car.

Don’t not buy a car from this company sell cars that are faulty then say they fixed them and they don’t awful. Communications when you do get your money back they take a lot off saying there damage to the car very tiney scratch that was there when we bought it carghed £1500 I don’t know how they sleep

Do not buy a car from Solo Motor Group.
They sold us a car for £5,000 which developed faults within the first week. The vehicle was returned for repairs, then had to go back another two times within the first 30 days because the issues still weren’t properly fixed.
After losing all confidence in the car, we requested a refund. They then made excuses to only refund £3,500 instead of the full amount. To make matters worse, the day after issuing the partial refund, they put the exact same car back up for sale again at the full £5,000 price.
Very disappointing experience and poor treatment throughout. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

This is not a honest showroom, setup to rob people blind absolute scum of the earth. Just check other reviews need I say more?

The worst experience I've ever had.
I received a car with two warnings on the dashboard, and it stopped working after a few days. The company refused to take the car back and stopped answering my calls. I had to consult the finance company to deal with the incident, and the car was returned to the finance broker after six months of struggle.

I recently purchased a vehicle from this garage in good faith, but after taking it to my local mechanic for a routine service, I was told the car is not roadworthy.

I attempted to contact the garage to resolve the issue, but they have been completely unhelpful and offered no support whatsoever.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be cautious. It feels like they are more than willing to take people’s hard-earned money without ensuring the vehicles they sell are safe or fit for the road

When I bought the car I test drove complained about the brakes and was told it needed a service they would be replaced then the radio didn't work was told they would replace they had the car for a week came back the same dodgy brakes radio didn't work not serviced after 6 weeks I received a radio after agreeing to fit myself they orderd the wrong radio when i rang I was put on hold for them to put the phone down tried to ring numerous times since to be ignored not a good company would not recommend once they have your money they don't care

I purchased a Toyota Auris from this dealership on 17th November for my 79-year-old grandfather, and it has been an absolute nightmare.
​We have had constant mechanical issues, including a faulty Valvematic actuator and—most alarmingly—a brake fluid leak. Selling a car with leaking brakes is a massive safety risk, especially for an elderly driver.
​When we returned the car for repairs, we were repeatedly lied to. Staff claimed the car was "good to go," but it was obvious no work was done—the car was simply left sitting outside BOC. Because of their incompetence, I’ve had to source my own parts and pay for repairs out of pocket just to make the car safe and functional.
​To make matters worse, the dealership is now completely ignoring all my emails regarding reimbursement.
​This process has caused my grandfather an incredible amount of stress. They are happy to take your money, but as soon as there is a problem, they go silent and ignore their legal obligations under the Consumer Rights Act.
​Avoid this place at all costs. They are dishonest, unreliable, and have zero regard for customer safety.

Bought a car took out warranty first week loads of issues can’t get hold of sales team don’t return calls or emails avoid at all costs

I recently bought a car from this company.
I was given an out of date log book.
Therefore the car could not be taxed online or at the post office. It cost me £25 for a new log book and I had to wait four weeks for it to be replaced.
I spoke to the dealers colleague to voice my frustration and he was rude and obnoxious.
I would not recommend this company to anybody.

because i didnt want to use there finance company they wanted to charge me £1000 admin fee because they would lose out on the commission, also check the google reviews avoid like the plague. awful customer service. car went up invalue by two on auto trader but was not the same price on ebay. so miss leading would not buy anything of these guys. Dont think his name is adam either.

Would not recommend this company to anyone.
Take your hard earned money, happy to take your money but then do not sort issues.

New car and MOT with bald tyres?!

Bought a car, had a few issues and required a service.
They did not service or repair the car.
and state it has passed a MOT.
But they use a dodgy Mot center (friend) to get vehicles passed. avoid if you can.

Great experience in buying a car. Can definitely be trusted unlike some dealers out there. Very friendly and polite staff. 100% recommended
