We requested a “health check” on our system which was first installed in 2018 and added to in 2023 with additional panels and a battery. SMAR had good reviews and they did not disappoint. The communication confirming our booking and reminders just prior to the date was excellent. The engineer turned up on time and was very polite and knowledgeable of Solar Systems. The check was thorough and although no faults were found we did learn some useful tips to maximise our system to drive efficiencies. I would certainly recommend SMAR. We had an excellent experience & service.

the only complaint I have is that there were too many communications on email/messages on landlines etc etc- whilst appreciate some people need reminding twice a week is a little unnecessary. David arrived on time with an apprentice (I like to see apprentices being taught properly with David explaining well as he went through our system) - I was happy with the information received and will use this company again in the future

Mo arrived within the times stated which were updated during the day. He certainly knew his job and gave us all the advice and options to fix a problem with 1 panel. However all options open to us were much too expensive.

The gentleman that came to fit a new inverter for me was very nice and efficient and it was a pretty quick job to fix too. Although a little late than the time agreed. But you can’t guarantee what the traffic is going to do, especially if you have to travel a fair distance. All in all I am very happy with his work.

This was the only company out of 5 that I called to help me with my solar panel inverter which had stopped working that actually got back to me. They have sorted my problem with no fuss. Communication is excellent regarding arranging visits etc.

We needed a new inverter and these guys delivered on time. Very happy.

Engineer Aka Mo, emailed me with a date of an appointment & time. Mo attended my house almost to the minute. He inspected my Inverter & Battery system. He explained to me the problem I was experiencing, and quick to resolve a particular serious problem and the probable cause.
He discussed with me & my wife as to how we should resolve our problem.
Mo was very helpful, & left us with a report, should we interested in resolving our problem.

Phoned SMAR in the morning having discovered my inverter had possibly failed.
Same afternoon Dominic called, serviced the system and installed a new inverter.

The company were very thorough in the initial assessment of the fault in the system. They took time to explain everything and were very patient, going through all the costings and options. Communication was excellent at all times. I checked the information I was given. It was spot on. At 81, it has been a relief to deal with an honest Company.
